Was recommended to get a sandwich from here and it did not disappoint! Waited in line about 15-20 minutes. The truffle burrata was perfectly salted with a hint of truffle. Great little snack while exploring Paris.

Came to this unsuspecting little shop for sandwiches at the recommendation from a friend. All three sandwiches we tried were delicious - perfect combination of meat to cheese to arugula. The bread was also fresh and toasted perfectly. Recommend!!

Very friendly service, but I found the sandwich to be lacking salt & therefore flavor. Wonderful mozzarella tho

What does 24€ get you, especially if you show up before the lunch rush on a cold and rainy day? 1. 2 hot sandwiches made with some amazing Italian meats, including my favorite, mortadella. 2. 2 interesting beverages called "chinotto" that are tasty but have an edge of bitterness 3. 1 owner who sets a small table for you and comes to chat with you 4. 1 ball of freshly pulled mozzarella and bread to eat with it 5. New Order, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, and lovely Italian ladies who sing along to said music Worth a visit.

There's a place in each city you will nourish the idea to go back, and even though this place is an Italian in Paris, it may very week turn to be the one simply because sandwiches options, authenticity, and portion and tastes are all great as far as I am concerned on this first try, got the Laura with loads of mozza, maybe 3cm thick in the center full of mozza , nice chiabata, olive oil, pastrami, arugula, tip top. Fast efficient, smiley and friendly and thankfully not busy when I got there. But it seems to be a fast rotating space with short amount of time spent on the line when busy. Hopefully I am right . See pics below with mozza close up, will go back for more options more pics and more discovery. Stay tune

Two words: delicious and fresh. This is a small storefront, and the women work very hard inside. I had a simple prosciutto, mozzarella, and arugula sandwich on a baguette. They must make the cheese themselves, you can see how fresh it is. This sandwich is so simple yet beyond delicious. Just as delicious as the best fresh sandwich shops in Rome. Not much seating inside if you are looking to sit for a meal, but very easy to take to go. Highly recommend!

Simple, but fantastic. As usual, it's about the quality if ingredients, and here there is no shortage of that. An amazing selection of mozzarella and cured meats in classic sandwiches, with a touch of rocket or arugula, whichever you'd rather call it. Incredibly pleasant and friendly staff, that don't speak much English but are happy to help you through :)

Delicious. Both sandwiches we ordered were great! The spicy salami as a highlight. And we also really loved the prosciutto.

We tried the jambon sandwich and chicken baguette, paired with a golden ale beer and coffee. Both sandwiches were outstanding--freshly made with incredible bread, generous fillings, and a perfect balance of textures. The strong cheese they offer on the side is a must; it pairs beautifully with the sandwiches, and the staff even lets you try it before deciding, which is a great touch. We did go around 2pm and unfortunately the pastrami was already sold out, which speaks to how popular it is. We also waited about 30-40 minutes in line, but it moved steadily and didn't feel too painful. We were lucky to find a spot to dine in, though most people grab their food to go. Service was friendly and quick despite the constant rush. The atmosphere is more grab-and-go than sit-down, with very limited indoor seating. Most people take their sandwiches to enjoy at a nearby park, which actually adds to the experience. Be prepared for a queue, but it moves faster than expected--and the payoff is absolutely worth it for what might be the best sandwich in the city.

These sandwiches are curated, edible pieces of art made with love by the one and only Alain. It's easy to see why they're so popular. People love the sandwiches so much that his stall inside Marche' Des Efants Rouges can see lines lasting upwards of an hour or more. And people stay in the line. We lucked out and only had to wait about twenty minutes. I tell you, I'd wait all day if need be. I often dream of the sandwiches we had and can't wait to have them again. A picture is worth a thousand words and therefore, my photos can tell you everything you need to know about how good the sandwiches were. It makes me smile when I look at the pic of us with Alain. What a wonderful human being producing wonderful food for the people.

I whipped out Yelp and noticed that I had Happy Caffe bookmarked. I'm not sure how it landed in my collection, but the reviews were excellent thought it would be a good option for lunch - so off we went. Happy sits right on the street - it's a super small space with barely any room inside and several tables outside on the sidewalk. They did a good job making room for us - I have to say they mastered the art of optimizing what little space they have but even still be prepared for a tight fit. The menu has a selection of baked good, crepes, and sandwiches. We asked the employee working behind the counter what they recommended and he suggested the kebab panini as he sells many of them every day. We decided to each get one, which was served promptly. The sandwich wasn't my favorite - the chicken seemed a little off, and it wasn't that tasty. I wouldn't say it was awful, but I also wouldn't order it again. Looking back, perhaps I ordered the wrong thing (despite it being recommended to me). I'm puzzled by all these 5-star reviews - maybe the crepes are better? Two stars for the friendly and attentive service, but I would bypass this spot next time I'm in Paris.
