I loved my confit de canard (duck) on a bed of flavorful potatoes. It was so delicious. My husband ordered something raw- thinly sliced beef topped with arugula and shaved Parmesan. He wasn't so pleased because it didn't fill him up, haha. It may need some sauce too. He ended up ordering a charcuterie board. The beers according to him was OK or so-so. The location is quite touristy, but the block of cafes isn't a bad place to stop and sit, since you're removed from the busy streets/intersections. Prices are as expected in Paris. Our service was in fact some of the best on our trip--our waiter was very friendly and helpful, which isn't always the case!

The food has been great, the waiter Taco, remembers what I drink. I never feel the service is rushed or that they are trying to turn the table. The presentation of the food is beautiful. The owners are extremely friendly and passionate about the wines they serve, which they know perfectly. They go mostly for organic wines and have a preference for Languedoc reds which they find have a better quality/price ratio. There are a few wines from the other regions as well. In total, you'll find probably 50-80 wines on the menu, all deliberately chosen by the owner who will be happy to talk about them. This place is a mix between a wine shop and a restaurant: you can buy the bottles to go or drink it in the restaurant for an additional premium (6 or 8 euros, can't remember). The food is simple but good: charcuterie or cheese plates to share, some grilled meat or fish. Try the calamari and the burrata as appetizers, they're pretty good. All in all, you spend a great time in this place: you discover new wines and you eat some good food. This is a great place to bring a group of friends!

I often tried to come early in the morning before the rush to get some work in since they offered Wi-Fi. The service was great and everyone was super nice but the workers only spoke French which made me try and brush up on my French since I didn't want to seem too much like an American tourist lol They sold all kinds of pastries but what we loved were the assortment of fresh Choux (aka cream puffs). They were so decadent and tasty that we were addicted by the end of our trip.
