We purchased and had installed carpets (Shaw) from this company twelve years ago. I've been…read moreregretting that decision now for twelve years. The guys who installed the carpet, were a father and his son. His son stayed around for 2 hours, then left. I had a discussion with the father about installation, and one time he looked at me and said: "I hate this carpet!" I don't know what sparked him to say that, but it was in a voice as if he was ten years old. He finished the installation and I tipped him $15 (although I shouldn't have). The next day or so, I looked at the carpet and noticed a gap, so I called New Horizon and let them know. The person who answered the phone seemed surprised and said he would take care of it. He sent the same person back, who was angry. I showed him the gap, and he hit the carpet several times and emphatically told me: "That's the way it's supposed to be!" Then, as he was leaving, he looked at me and said in his immature angry voice: "I HATE this carpet!" I was glad to see him leave, and never wanted to see this guy again. Because the man at New Horizon sent that same immature guy back who threatened me and did a lousy job, made me distrust the company. He should have sent a manager back. He should have sent someone who was responsible and cared about the customer to fix the job. But he did not. He was complacent.
