I went to the Apple store and they also said the phone was defective and att should have switched it out. I called ATT customer service and the agent said that yes, it should be swapped at the store. The store manager refused to do it, even with the customer service agent instructing him how to do it over the phone. She read him the instructions and he said I'm not doing it and walked away from me. His name is Francisco and he is The most unhelpful and arrogant man I have ever dealt with. I will never visit this particular store again. However, my problem was solved by a representative in the store named Dalton. He sincerely apologized for the manager's behavior and was able to offer assistance. He was the only bright spot in this store.
