I was really impressed with how my nails turned out overall. I had acrylic put on. There were a couple things that I didn't like such as two nails had an air bubble and one nail was filed crooked. Probably not noticeable to most but I'm kinda picky. Also I wanted an American manicure, which to me is a light white with pink but I feel like I got a French. I was lied to at Nick's Nails by new mgmt several times, had a really bad experience with my nail service (poly gel), and my last experience was there for 3 hrs getting basic pedi and SNS... I'm about at the point that I can no longer reach my toes, my flexibility is about gone The Bride and I have tried a few other nail salons but we always go back to Nick's. I'm not a nail snob but I know what I like and they fit the bill for me. A trim, cuticle work and even digging out whatever it s under the nails. Then a leg massage and clear polish if I want it. The twenty something daughter had them apply polish to One toe. The son of a friend asked if it was nail polish. I told him that I hadn't been able chew that one off but it was going to happen soon. Waste of my money! I could tell that the woman assigned to give my pedicure was not happy, by the look on her face the entire time. Which wasn't long at all. This was the problem. She basically clipped my nails, and filed them down, put some lotion on my feet and legs, and told me goodbye. I really hated the fact that I had paid, including a tip, beforehand. She didn't even use the shaver on the bottom of my feet, and it was evident that I needed it within hours of leaving there. I get it, I'm a guy, and maybe doing men's feet are harder than women, but I've gone to many places and gotten pedicures and never were they this bad. Needless to say I won't be back. Shameful part is I live almost directly across the street from here, so with good service I could've become a great regular customer. read more

I used to love this place but when managers changed, so find the level of customer service. I have been a client of Kelly's for 5 years but the last time I went in there through new manager was so rude. My rating is based on Tan's treatment of me and his staff. I attempted to make my next appointment before leaving, like always and he wouldn't even come to the desk to do so, he continued to talk over his client and assured me he wouldn't forget to put it in, didn't even check to see if that time and day was available. When I called to confirm it was made, he never made it and never apologized but blamed Kelly and said she didn't have my number to call me. Which, is not true. This is no way to treat customers that have been there for that long. As long as he is manager, I will not be returning. So sad because it was a nice place. read more

It's been 5 days since I had my nails done at this place and they are just falling apart before my eyes. I got S&S on top of my real nails which I get all the time. This is not my usual nail salon, the one I use consistently right down the road, was super busy this day so decided to try this place as a second option. The ladies were really nice and the salon was clean and comfortable. But as far as nail quality.. I was not impressed. As someone who gets S&S every few weeks, something went wrong here. Favourite nail salon by FAR! Everyone is very friendly, and the lady who did my nails, Lily, did exactly what I wanted. She helped pick out the exact shade of red I wanted (I'm very weird with colors). I told her I wanted a longish V shape, like from the 60s & they were gorgeous! The price, in my opinion, was great, i got acrylics & gel for $30. They lasted an incredibly long time, & since I'm a server I'm constantly banging my hands/nails around. But my main reason for liking this place so much is that the acrylics did not damage my nails! Over all, I really like this place & recommend anyone to try. read more

Never get your eyebrows tinted here. I went to get them done, and they said they had a few different shades of dye. I specifically asked for the lightest dye they had on my eyebrows. When I left I had pitch black eyebrows. I'm a strawberry blonde that always had barely visible blonde eyebrows. I just wanted a light tint. They said they could do what I want, but that's obviously not true. I can't do anything about it because bleaching that close to the eye is really unsafe. I have to live with this horrible dye job for the next 4-6 weeks. Mind you, I have to go back to school in just over 3 weeks. Do not go here. 0/10 do not recommend, read more

My coworkers and I normally get our nails done once a month. We decided to stop by and this is now our go to place. It's such a welcoming environment and they are so friendly. As soon as we arrived we were greeted and offered complimentary drinks. My first experience was blah, and same for my second. I just had a bad experience with one of the nail techs. I have been a customer at Nicks since Nick was the owner and did my nails. I have stayed through all the changes as well as referred MANY friends. This new manager has been a very unwelcome change. I am not greeted when I walk in. I have noticed him on the phone often while doing someone's nails. He does not say good bye or thank you when customers leave. I have now personally witnessed 4 different people at 4 different times leave the pedicure chair as they waited for a while without water even being started. One being my own daughter. The pedicures the last few months have declined. If Kelly wasn't there doing my nails I would not be there. I am so disappointed. I hope a change for the better comes soon. Some of the bad things about this place is: -Extra money for simple designs such as polka dots... -Noisy atmosphere. Some people will come in and start yelling to each other. -Not good with nails.
