Got a full set of gel acrylics here. I've been getting my nails done the same way for the past 4 years, solid color, no design, coffin shape, not complicated at all. I don't think I've ever had to ask for any type of adjustment from any other nail salons. I had to ask him multiple times and they still turned out bad. It looks like I've done them myself. My reviews are on the service. I've spent 4 hours in this place just for full-in and polish change. Even with an appointment, you have to come back in an hour. Both times, they started a service and then left me sitting there while they went to perform a service on someone else before coming back. I went here on a whim after breaking one of my nails in the target across the parking lot. I asked for SNS and a chrome top coat. I also got a pedicure. Upon walking in the door I asked if they accepted apple pay. I was told they did. I was presented with a menu for the pedicure, and the one I selected was NOT the one I was given. But, honestly I wasn't too pressed about it and the pedicure was still incredible. The SNS was horrible though. I had 3 different people taking turns on my nails instead of just having one person sit down and do them. One lady literally got up and walked off to take a phone call outside and didn't return for a solid 20 minutes. It was easily the worst SNS I've ever had. It was bumpy and there are spots that have dips/holes as you can see in my first picture. At the end of the service they wiped my nails with alcohol Im assuming, which is when I noticed almost all of my fingers now had cuts around the cuticles from the filing. I noticed the tools were clean, but they were placed in a dirty basket? Like actual crust was on the inside and outside of this basket. As I was checking out it turned out apple pay didn't work. I should've known better, and I will definitely never be returning. I will now be paying another salon 3 days later to fix this awful work. read more

Yay! I love this nail salon! Everyone is so sweet. I normally get a full set of acrylics, and I'm VERY picky about them being super super short. This place always gets it right! They cut them all the way down for me so that they are barely over my fingertip. They always last me a good 3 weeks too, and they still look good at that 3 week mark! They are also great at fixing mistakes, like if I week later a nail starts to pull away or bubble underneath they will fix it for free (although I've never had such a problem). Not to mention prices are great! If going during the week, you can get a full set of acrylics for $20! Not bad at all, and well worth the money! It's also located beside Atlanta Bread Co, which makes a great lunch afterwards! *Do note that they prefer tips in cash, which I always have to go by the bank before going because I usually don't carry cash on person. read more

I've been to this place twice. The first time was great - second time was horrible! I won't go here again. I went in to get a pedicure and manicure with my friend. We were put in the pedicure chairs and soaked for a minute or two. A woman came over and started working on my friend's toes. I sat there and waited. It wasn't until my friend's toes were almost done that someone finally came to work on mine! So whatever - I'll forgive that. So this woman proceeds to start clipping my cuticles and ends up snipping my skin a few times! She doesn't say sorry or anything, just keeps going, even though I told her that hurt and if she could be more careful (At this point I realize now I should have just made her stop and get someone else, oh well). My friend's pedicure AND manicure are now finished, and she's just waiting on me and my pedicure isn't even half way over. We finally get to the end of my pedicure, and she's putting my shoes on. This chick literally SLAPS my leg yelling at me to relax so she can put my shoe on - which I was! So at this point, the nail tech has forgotten about my manicure, which I'm thankful for because I did NOT want to get a manicure with her, too. I'm sitting with my feet under the dryer, and she comes over to get payment. I don't have any cash, so I give her my card. She brings me back the receipt to sign and put the tip. I start writing the tip and she stops me and goes "You don't have cash for the tip?" Seriously?! BE THANKFUL I'M EVEN GIVING YOU A TIP. And that was the last time and will forever be the last time I went there. Hopefully your experience is much better if you decide to go. read more

Customer service here is excellent. Ms. Kim is the owner and makes everyone feel welcome. She has been doing my acrylic nails for over 2 years now and I can't speak highly enough of her. Before I started using her; my nails would "lift" frequently and pop off. She takes the time to ensure her nails are done so this doesn't happen and I am very pleased with the results. I highly recommend making an appointment and when you do; ask for a day/time that isn't traditionally busy and you will have best chance of being seen on time. ALL nail salons are the same in that they have a large number of clients who walk-in therefore it is a juggling act to take them as well as stay available for your existing appointments. I always call 15 minutes before to see if she is on-time and she tells me if she is or if I can wait a bit. I am fine with waiting at home; hate waiting in a salon. Just a suggestion. read more

First off, let me precursor this review with the fact that I am Asian. To be more specific, I am Vietnamese. However, being that I was practically born and raised here in the US I do not have an English accent whatsoever. The more interesting thing to note is that I am fluent in Vietnamese, speak, read and write. Back to my review, I walked into this salon yesterday anticipating to get a manicure as a treat to myself before I have to leave for a 3 week trip to CT for corporate training. When I walked through the door, all the technicians looked up at me and then one person proceeded to say in Vietnamese "what does this girl want?" It was apparent that they assumed I was either Thai, Cambodian, or Filipino. I get that a lot. I pretended to not understand and just sat down and waited. What they didn't realize is that I grew up in a nail salon since I was 12 and know better, this is not how you treat a walk in client. My parents would have asked (even in their native tongue) "has anyone asked what the walk in is getting?" or ask the client directly "do you an appointment today? What are you looking to have done?" After a few minutes, the gentleman in the salon said to me "what you getting done?" I simply replied "I'd like a manicure please." To which he replied "Ok, you pick culluh!" I went over to their measly wall of nail polishes and proceeded with an OPI bottle of gray lilac. I sat back down. About 10 minutes later, an woman about 48 or 52 pointed at the last station and waved me over. I walked over to the station and saw that it was evident that they have not dusted off the acrylic dust leftover from previous services. The station customer's chair is black leather and the station is of a dark color and both of these furniture were covered in a thick white dust. I plopped down into the chair and the dust rose! The lady proceeded to do the following things: cut down my nails, filed it with a rough emery board, buffed it with a course buffing block, told me to go wash my hands, applied polish, used her finger nails to wipe away some mistakes, applied more polish, told me to fan dry my nails. What is wrong with the picture? Here's what is wrong: *She did not file my nails the same shape, my left thumb was of a different shape than my right, I had to ask her to file them the same shape *She's wearing bifocal glasses but did not turn on the overhead station lamp to better her sight. Therefore, as she was using her fingernail to remove her polish mess from my skin she kept on removing part of the polish that was on my nail bed. Hence, she kept on having to reapply coats after coats into that missing area. Needless to say I have uneven polish with missing top coat all over the place on each nail bed. *She used a too coarse emery board and buffer block leaving my nails with jagged edges and cross hatch marks on my nail bed from roughing it up. *I asked for a manicure! A manicure consists of soaking the nailbeds to soften the cuticle, pushing the cuticles back or removing it with a snipper, a hand massage, and then polish. All she did was trimmed my nails, shaped it and then applied polish. *She never came over to check my nails while it was drying to let me know when I can leave. I'm not sure how other salons do it but when I was growing up in the nail salon, after my parents were done providing their services I would come over to check on the client. I would spray the speed dryer spray for the client or apply cuticle oil onto the nail bed so it provides a slippery buffer for the nail bed while it dries but doesn't affect the polish job. Sometimes, I even walk the client out with their handbags and open their door for them so they didn't have to nick their polish job. Quite often, the customers would ask me to dig for their car keys to open their door for them. *The nail license on the wall does not belong to the technician, I heard the owners calling her by her Vietnamese name and the name on the license First, Middle, and Last does not match. Remember I mentioned that I'm fluent in vietnamese? After my visit at this salon, I immediately searched for another salon to bring my money to the next time. I plan on visiting BLUSH nail bar on Hwy 92 in Woodstock, GA after I come back from my trip. Even though BLUSH Nail Bar has only been open about a week, I can tell that they take pride in their salon. I also called my mother to vent to her as she has owned over 8 salons in Boston and is still a technician at a salon in Fall River, MA. I joked with her that I should try to get a job with the state board of health to go in and shut down some of these jokes of a nail salon. They'll never suspect it anyhow since they don't even think I'm their people. read more

Kim is the most accommodating business owner I've ever met. She literally works 364 days a year, only taking off for Christmas! Can you imagine? EVERY day except ONE? STILL, she is sweet and makes every single customer feel like her favorite. If you have a problem here, and don't tell her, that is on you because she will bend over backwards to fix it. She and her daughter do a wonderful job with the pink and white sets (all I've ever done there). Each time it lasts over a month. I've never had that kind of success anyplace else. I look forward to a pedicure soon, but will definitely choose them over other local salons mostly because Kim is so exceptionally friendly and kind. Her prices are also very fair. Do not let them near your eyebrows! First of all this woman tried to wax me and another girl in the same room together. Then she took off half my eyebrow, and tried to tell me that they were naturally uneven. She even had the nerve to show me the strip with the other half of my eyebrow on it, like I was stupid and not going to notice.
