They were very nice, friendly, and professional. Their English was not that great (by their own admission) so they often used Google Translate on their phone to translate, which actually worked a lot better than I had expected. We were able to communicate with them just fine. They mentioned they were from Russia so if you can speak Russian that would be great. They wanted to connect their pressure washer to our hose to pressure wash the clogged gutters, but our hose recently broke and thus we didn't have one, so they went out to Home Depot to purchase one for the job. They also got on the roof to manually scoop out a lot of the debris in the gutters. To fix the clogged downspout they removed the gutter from the wall and emptied them and pressure sprayed the inside of the gutter to clear them out. The gutters looked pretty good after they cleaned everything out. They also readjusted the gutter to fit into the French drain better (it was misaligned from the previous job from another contractor). We would be happy to call them up again if we had any more house jobs that needed to be done!

After a bunch of wasted time with other contractors I finally met Johnny and I happy with his proposal and ultimately his quality of work. We have in wall toilet tanks and both were leaking and to make things worse the specific product was discontinued. This was in the house before we moved in so I didn't know all the specifics. Therefore, we opened up one of the walls to determine if we needed to replace the whole tank or just the components inside. He figured out was unnecessary to replace the tanks and he was able to find compatable parts! As well we took the opportunity to add electrical outlets and another water source for bidet toilet seats. He did very clean work, took great care to minimize damage during the removal process (which is harder than if we were just demoing the entire bathroom tile). Bottom line it is very difficult to tell there was partial replacement and tie into existing remaining wall. I was particularly concerned with the partial tile replacement and grout work not matching up, but came out clean. We also had him water proof and finish off the stone around the tub and tile the wall behind the tub. He helped my wife and I make some decisions on tile because we were a little unsure. He was able to work with our schedule coming in a few different days that worked with his current schedule and ours because we work full time and with kids it is too difficult to just take any day off. I was happy with the work he did in the bathrooms so I had him also fix my sink which was an all-in-one custom counter-top into sink made of Corian. The sink had developed a crack and would leak under pressure. It wasn't as simple as just removing a metal sink and swapping out. He had to carefully cut the corean and this time we dropped in a metal sink that was very close to the existing size of our sink, but it required some slight modifications to the opening, along with adjusting the plumbing as the drop used to be centered and now was offset to side. As well the old faucet and soap dispenser were knotched into the corean, but becuase the metal perimeter didn't fully cover the hole he was able to borrow and cut to size the Corian from the section he removed doing his best to color match so it blended in. While it is not perfect options were pretty limited. He could have done epoxy and suggested that might be the way to go, but I advised that I just wanted him to cut out the Corian and blend it in the best he could. In summary, I was happy to have found Johnny and will definitely use his services again when the time comes.

The call came from a number showing on my caller ID as 408-396-8070. Instead of simply discussing the project, he immediately became hostile and started swearing at me, including saying "F*** this" and "F*** you," before abruptly hanging up. I was completely caught off guard. I had simply submitted a project request through Yelp and had not done anything to warrant this kind of treatment. This was an absolutely unacceptable and highly unprofessional way to treat a potential customer. I will also be filing a complaint with Yelp regarding this interaction so they are aware of how a business responding to Yelp project requests is treating potential customers. **UPDATE: I am providing screenshots to document what actually happened.** In his response to my review, Elmar claims that my account of him calling me and using profanity is "completely false" and that "nothing like this ever happened." That is not true. I am uploading two screenshots that document the sequence of events: 1. **At 3:10 PM**, Elmar responded to my Yelp Project request stating, **"I don't provide that service."** 2. **At 3:12 PM**, just two minutes later, my call history shows that I received a call from **408-396-8070**, which is the business phone number listed on this Yelp business profile. During that 3:12 PM call, Elmar was extremely hostile and directed profanity and abusive language toward me, including **"F*** this" and "F*** you,"** before hanging up. The timing is particularly significant. If Elmar had already responded to my Yelp request at 3:10 PM stating that he did not provide the service, there would have been no apparent reason for him to call me two minutes later unless he wanted to discuss something further. I believe potential customers should have the opportunity to see the documented timeline and make their own judgment. Having a background in both structural engineering and construction, I knew this would be a bit of a challenging fix. Unlike other vendors I reached out to for a quote where I sent photos and was provided an estimate without a site visit, D'Mitri and team were transparent and said they couldn't make a detailed assessment based on the photos so sent someone out to visit. Once on site, the technician evaluated the issue, took photos, and was upfront in acknowledging this was a complex issue that he wasn't able to handle, but would discuss with the team. They determined that this was out of their area of expertise. What I really valued was 1) prompt and clear communication - they left email, texts, and calls to make sure I was informed and 2) they knew their limits. I've had too many poor experiences of contractors who say they're able to do a job only to realize they're in over their heads once they start the project and are asking for additional funds because their estimates were way off. While I can't speak to the quality of work, they left a great impression on me and will be keeping them on the books in case I need another home repair.
