These guys were amazing!!! I took my golf cart in to get a subs and 6x9's installed, and I ended up going with an additional 4.5's. The sub was tricky to install on the new ezgo, but they found a perfect way to mount it very clean under the seat, they also added sound deadening in the back where they were getting too much vibration. They installed a new deck as well and it was having trouble holding it memory bc of the way the new batteries are set up made from lithium. They even came over to my house to look at it to see if it was possible to fix it from there. They did a lot of research and calling ezgo and calling other contacts until they found the best solution. They really went above and beyond, not to mention super nice people. When your factory car stereo is on its last leg, you have to find a replacement. I found Mo music, located off glendale on snider. This is a high end stereo shop that will also. Install your run off the mill car stereo. The people here are extremly friendly and helpful. They told me what I needed and I told them what I wanted, as f as r as the existing controls on the steering wheel that answer the phone. Being disabled, i wanted to make sure the controls would work. I was assured with an additional kit that the controls would work. So the stereo was installed, the technician came in once and said the mute button will not work. No problem. So they finish up and i am learning how to use the stereo and phone features and they mention that the steering wheel controls will not work. WTF. I paid extra for a kit to make sure it works. Not once was it mentioned to me that it would not work. I must have as sked three times to make sure that those controls will work. Hopefully they will make it right. I will update. Update: Mo himself called and offered to make things right, so today i brought my car in, it took an hour and a half but the controls on the steering wheel will answer the phone. Thanks Mo read more

I took my restored '64 Chevy C10 truck to Mo Music to troubleshoot the bad stereo install that happened in the build process. After inspecting the previous job, they made excellent recommendations and completely reengineered the audio system. They ran perfect and clean wiring, integrated the controls without cutting up my dash, built custom integrated kick panels that look like a factory install, added sound dampening where needed, and replaced all the crappy components with pro-grade ArcAudio units. They took great care of my truck and kept me in the loop throughout the process. The job was completed on time, billed to their original estimate, workmanship is first class, and it sounds amazing. Prior to this job, I had never worked Mo Music. After this experience, I can't imagine taking my vehicles anyplace else. They say the true test of a good company is how they handle the problems. I got a stereo and remote starter put into my car from mo music. And there ended up being a few hiccups along the way so i had to bring my car back several times. (My car was being super stubborn not from their doing) but every time tom was super apologetic. I even got a ride to work from mo. Which was nice. Tom ended up calling me to let me know they were gonna hook me up for all the trouble. I understood that these things happen but they insisted. Tom showed me around the shop to see the projects that have been done, what can be done, and damn I was amazed by everything that I knew this was the shop to get my system installed! Appointment set. From the beginning, when I was just looking for a quote, to the end, where I picked up my car with the installation completed, Mo Music does not disappoint. All my questions and concerns were answered. They have a friendly staff. They are very knowledgeable in their field and if not, they put in the research to get the job done. They had the task of installing an aftermarket license plate rear view camera for my 2014 Jeep Wrangler. I already had all the hardware for my backup camera. I was expecting to get my Jeep back at the end of the day, but received a call much earlier than expected, that it was ready for pick up. I appreciated that since I was dreading picking it up during rush hour. I believe I got a reasonable price for my install. I previously had an appointment with Best Buy at the Galleria, which was made a month in advance to have my backup camera installed, but when it came to showing up at my appointment, they were VERY hesitant to put in the work. They seemed like they just wanted an easy plug and play setup. After Best Buy was a bust, I had to look elsewhere. Calling for quotes and timeframes around the Reno/Sparks area, was quite the chore. Great customer service! I came in getting an AUX input installed in my car (I had the parts, just needed the install). I also wanted my XM radio uninstalled. They did it for $85. They were able to flush mount my aux input for a part that cost $35. Not too bad! The only thing I was disappointed about was the care of my car's interior. A hand towel I keep on the drivers seat (for my butt on hot days due to leather seats) was dirtied. There was also a grease mark on the passenger seat. I was able to clean it up with leather seat cleaner, but I don't think it should have been there in the first place. They could have wiped it up before giving me my car back. read more

Look here, if you follow my reviews, you should look in to other activities. That and you'd see I hand out 5 star reviews about as frequently as hygiene is discussed at Burning Man. Background...I was the District Manager for the largest privately owned car audio company in the Southwest United States for many years. Most recently as the District Manager for the largest privately owned car audio company in THE WORLD!!!!!! Then, my wife decided we were packing up and heading to Reno. I was forced to leave my car audio roots behind, as there just was nothing similar within a few hundred miles of Reno. But, there is snow. Snow does not pay near as much. Blah blah blah. Sold my brand new 2WD F150 (we do not need it in Central Texas, just for showing off at Starbucks) and bought an old beast of a vehicle. The beast was in need of remote start for the upcoming Winter (also not something often found in Central Texas), so I set out to interview ALL audio shops between Carson and Sparks. What I found frightened me. Truly frightened me. I am accustomed to very high end, large format shops that often scared people off with perceived sticker shock. Our techs were trained by world class engineers and required countless hours of continuing education/certification to maintain employment. I found NOTHING remotely close in my visits in the area. So, I contacted John at HandCrafted Car Audio in Chandler, Arizona to do the job. Scheduled for the week after Thanksgiving and was set. Yes, I was going to drive 1/2 a day in order to avoid the local shops.........until........... A chance recommendation from a neighbor that had a custom audio system with a crazy paint job to match on his golf cart. He told me about Mo Music, which somehow had escaped my searches. Okay, I'm horrible with directions and just gave up the one time I went to visit. The parking lot was crowded and a bit underwhelming, again compared to my gloss palace standards. Opened the door and BAM! I was greeted, by a person. What he did after that sealed it. 1) Offered immediately to take me on a tour of the shop (I made zero mention to my career). This is HUGE when a shop opens up their vulnerable area to a random customer. After all, I just said I was looking for a basic remote start. 2) Offered suggestions on systems, and followed up with why he suggested. I knew the parts I wanted to install weeks ago, he nailed it. 3) Explained the install process. How they ran wiring and why. 4) Offered to do the job that day. Again, HUGE. What he did not do that every other shop did. 1) Bash other shops in town without anyone mentioning other shops. 2) Bash competing products he assumed I might have looked at. 3) Try selling me on how cheap their install was. I do not want a cheap install. No thanks. I had to book the appointment for today, in order to have a ride back home. Arrived on time and this time was greeted by the owner. Maurice took my information, recapped the install process and gave me an expected time of completion. I have done this for nearly 20 years, overseen numerous retail locations, grew a dealership direct business from zero to hugely successful in one of the most competitive markets in the US. I am not easily impressed, but with these few simple acts, Mo Music has 100% earned my business. It may not be the showy glitzy shops of my past, littered with cars most folks would only dream to own (myself included), but it IS the only shop between here and a 12 hour drive I trust to touch my vehicle(s). Next up, maybe a golf cart. Or a snowmobile. Is that a thing here? And, when the folks at Mo Music read this, the secret is out. You all were under heavy pressure that you did not know of. I inspected the installation afterwards, picture perfect. I suspect my next visit will go a bit differently. read more

After a horrible experience with No Music I left my review! One of the employees that I complained about then wrote a SLANDEROUS review of my business! Even though he had never been a customer! Now I have 3 estimates from other AAA recommend shops on how crappy my paint job was basically a 4000.00 back yard shade tree mechanic type paint job on a very rare BMW. After I complained the first time they kept it another 8 months and still it looks like I taped it myself?! Ruined all the rubber on windshield and rear window. Mo himself talked to me directly many times during this 2.5 YEAR JOB!!! Then when I went to pick it up they had installed a radio that I didn't want and tossed out my original radio!? I had specifically asked to leave the old one in to Mo himself to save money for more body work that was found. I am now in Small Claims court for refund and Civil Court for Slander!! read more

I CAN NOT recommend Mo music enough. I had a stereo installed last year, and it has just been excellent. You never realize how important some good sound is when you spend a ton of time in your car shuttling kids around. Let's fast forward to this week though. I hit a bump and my main screen in my car flickered off... not my after market stereo but the factory screen where I would go to turn on my AC or change the temperature... so my AC was stuck on. I called Lexus and they advised that it will likely be a bare minimum of $2500.00. I called Mo, because he was so awesome last year installing my stereo, took it in, and was called back with the result that it was a loose connection, and they plugged it back in and we are good to go. These guys are SO GOOD at what they do. Mo runs an amazing business and the fact that he is an amazing human shows in how they treat their customers. If I could give him 30 stars I would. And as a side -covid related - note, while dropping my car off I didn't see a single employee missing a mask, and was advised that they sanitized my car after working on it, and will wipe it all down again for me. Got a quote from them for a fairly complex repair and replacement parts to get an OEM system going again. Expensive procedure, but very reasonable considering what needed to be done. Dropped the car off, expecting a 6-hour turnaround. After 1 hour got a call that the job was done. Got to the shop, and was told "no charge." ??? They were able to find parts that fit from another car, put them in, and it worked. No charge for labor (they put in at least an hour), or the parts. Unbelievable. Hope they stay in business a long time and will help lots of people with their more-than-fair business approach. read more
