Chris, this is typical of you and your staff to dispute facts reported from a customer. You DID mess up the window upon install and passed it off as a warrantied defect so you could save yourself the time money and embarrassment of admitting your tech did it. You DID attempt to charge me $550 in person and when disputed by the customer you looked at the sheet and realized you were wrong. You DID install the wrong window on an unnamed business that I worked for in the past, nice try trying to stalk me on your records though. You DID install the weather strip wrong on my truck and I didn't have time or patience to deal with you until after the warranty expired and because it never rains in Tahoe, my bad. You DID spend however much time looking up my records and stalking me through your computer to dispute things that DID happen to your customer. And Chris, Yelp is a safeguard for customers who get taken advantage of or harassed or offended by businesses or business owners, like you. You obviously know that because you took such time and detail to dispute facts. So to throw sly shade back at the customer after stalking them on probably multiple platforms is pretty silly but exactly what I'd expect from a creature like yourself. Spend less time being defensive about your poorly run company and just be better. read more

Great Service and NO hassle. Called, made an appointment; arrived a bit early and they took my truck right in. The task was to install "nerf bars" (side-steps) which I had purchased elsewhere. Within less than an hour the truck was ready. The only reason I did not buy the side-steps from them was because I had a coupon worth $25 off + I got a military discount from the Parts House. I was having issues with a stubborn bolt on my steering stabilizer not getting backed out, even with some heavy persuasion. He asked if I could be down there in like an hour, he'll take a quick look at it before he takes off for the day. I drove down, he busts out the air tools, within 5 min it's out. I lost my key to my roof rack while driving across the country and was really stressed because all my luggage was up there. I called custom truck accessories to inquire if they had a master key that could open the roof box and they told me to come over and they would see if they had a key. I drove over from the hotel and it just so worked out that they had a loose key that fit the old Thule box. The guy helping me gave me the key and sent me on my way. Custom Truck Accessories really helped my out of a bind. Those guys are great and really know how to treat their customers. read more

Horrible customer service. Told me they were to busy to take customers who didn't buy the racks from their location even though that is a service they supposedly provide. I'm sure they do good work if you can get them to actually preform it. They were unsure of the top I was asking them to mount to and instead of taking a moment to help a customer by calling the manufacturer of the top and asking a few simple questions they instead said "they were just gonna pass" WTF. How do you just pass when you don't have all the information. So unbelievably rude. I would never recommend this company. Andy at the Carson location wouldn't even call me back. Just sent a poorly written email response with no justification. I called another CTA location in Sacramento and the people (Chad especially)were friendly knowledgeable and said it would be no issue at all to mount my rack. They were well informed and knew all about my top. The Reno and Carson locations were complete opposite experiences. The situation continues. The supervisor of the Carson location( Chris) called me. He went out of his way to contact the Sacramento branch of CTA and shut them down from performing the mount. FYI, my top is manufactured by Fiberine in Long Beach CA and they produce all the tops for sports mobile. These tops are mounted daily. Chris even went further and told me that this exact post was slander and that he would consider legal action if I didn't remove it. Huh? I thought Yelp was exactly intended for reviews of positive and negative experiences. Just writing about my experience so others can choose where to take their business. I will be taking mine elsewhere. Hope you enjoyed my story. I was just trying to get some racks mounted at the closest possible location to me. 2.5 hrs to Carson. For my Christmas present I asked for a truck bed tool box for Beverly, my Nissan Frontier. We came in around the holidays to see what our options were (Husband was hoping I might opt for a full truck-bed cover) and the service was not terribly helpful. After a brief tour around the small showroom, we were given a fat catalog and told to pick out what we wanted and come back. I figured the lukewarm service was due to it being the busy season, so I waited a couple of months and returned last week with the catalog that had only served to confuse me even more. I had gone to [big box store] to get a better idea of what my options were, and so I knew this time exactly what I wanted, which made things run a bit more smoothly. In just an hour, I had a beautiful new tool box installed in the truck bed. I think this is definitely the place to go if you know what you want and are looking for a fast, professional job. If you are looking for a salesperson to go over your options with you and offer suggestions, you might want to try elsewhere. I explained I live an Hour and a half away, and asked if he would take more pictures of the outside and text them to me, which he did.After inspection of the camper I found the camper to be unsatisfactory for my needs .Just poor internet pictures.
