My friends and I booked the Hummer tour on the Hell's Revenge Trail. This was definitely the coolest and most fun experience I've ever had. Our guide - Craig - made the experience THAT much better. He was super fun and made the ride so thrilling!!! He was also so insightful on the area and the history which I thought was neat. We are all in our early 20s, but there was a family on our ride too and the parents and kids enjoyed it just as much! If you're in the area, I 10/10 recommend doing this - IT WAS AWESOME! read more

It's a two hour trip down the river. The first hour seems extremely long and people seem to lose interest in what was being said. The trip back was amazing with the light show and music. Very solemn and insightful. 1 1/2 hour trip would be plenty. Bundle up it gets very chilly. read more

My tour guide Mike spent part of the ride expressing his belief that the Las Vegas shooting was staged; a conspiracy. He even offered his rationale as to why he thought this - it was based on a photograph of one of the guns, as far as I was able to discern. Never mind that two of the passengers on this Hummer Safari actually live in Las Vegas and another knows a person who was at the concert during the shooting. No, he needed to inform the group that despite their firsthand experience with the massacre, there was something that looked off about one of the photos that caused him to doubt that the killings actually happened. This was not exactly what I expected from this adventure, unfortunately. And just 12 hours later, another school shooting, this time in Santa Fe, Texas. Who knows - maybe on his next tour, Mike will offer his insights as to how this one was also staged, with at least 10 crisis actors hired to play the deceased. read more

I went down the Colorado with Western from May 2 - May 5, 2021. The trip was absolutely amazing. The guides were incredible and very professional. I felt very safe. The food was delicious. The sights were breathtaking. Dillon was an awesome leader. His team of guides were top notch. I would highly recommend Western for anyone wanting to go down the Colorado River through Cataract Canyon. Excellent hummer adventure! We did the 2 hour hummer tour for $83 per person of Slickrock Canyon with Hell's Revenge and enjoyed the beautiful Arches National Park as our view. The 8 comfortably seated passenger vehicles equipped with seatbelts and a tarp over our heads was a clear indication that adventure awaits. There was one stop with a "top of the world" 360 degree panoramic view which literally was breathtaking. Our guide, Mike, provided us with educational geological information and complimentary snacks & bottled water. We loved the fast turns and going up & down the "fins" of the rock as we saw the blue sky in front of us at times when going uphill, felt like a roller coaster or white water rafting, but on land. Make sure to use the restroom prior and don't forget to tip your driver because afterall, he got us back safely in one piece with a smile:) So go to the Moab Adventure Center and let your adventure begin! read more

The mask rule on the bus was being very loosely enforced. We would not have paid to take a bus ride in the middle of a pandemic if we'd known that half the bus riders would be without masks. We took two other trips in Moab and felt like the situation was taken much more seriously by them. Otherwise, the trip was gorgeous and the staff was professional. They just need to be a bit tighter with the mask requirement if they are claiming to be in compliance with Covid precautions. read more

What a relaxing day! Shelby made the trip for us. He kept our teenagers having fun and engaged and was super knowledgeable.

Our group did a 2 in 1 tour with the water rafting in the morning and canyoneering in the afternoon. Avery, our rafting guide made the experience very fun and personable. And the views on the river were stunning. Rob and Molly, our guides for the canyoneering were fantastic! After a small mishap on the pick-up time, these guy's went out of their way to show us the best Moab experience. David took our group of 8 thru Arches N.P., very knowledgeable, a nice relaxing tour. Next we jumped in a Hummer with Craig, he took us on the ride of our lives, plenty of laughing and screaming in our video's, created memories to last our lifetimes. Craig Rocks! SUNSET HUMMER TOUR: Not what we expected. Despite the video and pictures on their website, do not expect to stop and see a sunset on the sunset tour. Advertising video shows and says that experienced drivers drive slowly and are "not trying to scare anyone". Our driver drove like a drunk teenager trying to impress his buddies. Speeding wherever he could slamming on the brakes right before the cliff - gunning it and swerving back and forth on straightaways and banking the vehicle from side to side until wheels were off the ground, Constantly claiming that the brakes were gone or the throttle was stuck or he forgot where the road was... - It was clear that our driver was anxious to leave the lookout before the "traffic" got that we were back in the parking lot well before sunset. The "3 hour" trip was barely 2 hours in length. We endured rather than enjoyed the experience. The view consisted of the back of the headrest in front of you and a small window that went from elbow to shoulder with the window frame and roll bar at eye level. Should be describe as a high adventure experience with warnings (like Disneyland rides0 that it is not appropriate for individuals prone to motion sickness or with back or heart problems. read more

I'm a local Utahan, and this was my 2nd visit to Moab, UT, looking for an adventure. Westwater Canyon Rafting, was worth the time and worth the money! Four great guides, Andrew, Becky, Jeff, & Cade; these guys were so friendly and fun to be around, like they were apart of the group, instead of "just another day at work". We spent 7 or 8 hours on the Colorado River, they served us a wonderful lunch on the riverside, and made sure we were having fun. We went through some category 3 & 4 white water rapids, and Becky (our groups guide) did an excellent job of guiding us through it all, and most of us had never done this before. If you are looking for an adrenaline rush while staying in Moab, check these guys out! read more

We did a hummer tour with MAC and it was a blast! I have to admit I didn't have high expectations for it, but when we arrived at the first off-road section and the hummer crawled straight up a rock (with us white-knuckling the handles on the roll cage), they had my attention. We proceeded to follow a well tracked route through the slickrock area with many more incredible sections that led to some awesome views. Our driver was a low-key guy who obviously had lots of experience. He let us know when we were coming up to an exciting section and he expertly maneuvered us through each one. Very disappointed from the rafting (pm with lunch, September 21, 2013). It is NOT a rafting, but a relaxing sailing/boating in a very calm water. Absolutely NOT an adventure. The decent thing is to inform the clients of the real activity, and not to name it as "rafting", while it is clearly not. Was a waist of time and money. The guide was Stephanie, she was very nice and fun but that does not make up for being misinformed. On the other hand, we did the 2 hours hammer safari (7:15 AM) with Mike to Hell's Revenge, and it was very nice. read more

This was my 2nd visit to Moab and my first time white water rafting. Our guide Meghan was really friendly and professional. They had a shuttle picked us up from the hotel right on time and took us to the Moab Adventure Center where all of us and those rafting filled the van and was taken to the Colorado River via beautiful scenery around us. It was class 2 and I was told the rapids were low at this time. We all had a great time, the lunch at Red cliff that was included on half day rafting was pretty good. Meghan kept us entertain and let us be the captain and also gave some time to anyone who wants to swim. I am definitely coming back for class 4&5 rafting! read more

This was our first trip to Moab, so we booked several adventures with Moab Adventure Center so we could take in all the area had to offer. We did the full day rafting trip which was incredibly relaxing and had some gorgeous views of Castle Valley. Our guide Bridger was super fun and engaging. We also did the sunset Hummer ride to Hell's Revenge. Shad did an awesome job of giving us a thrilling ride over the slickrock ridges and took us to two spots to catch some incredible views over the Colorado. HIGHLY recommend the sunset tour....can't beat seeing the Utah landscape in that golden light. Our last excursion for the week was the canyoneering tour. We were especially nervous for this one given the 120 ft rappel, but our guides Tyler and Nolan were absolutely amazing! My youngest was terrified of the heights and ended up needing to tandem down. Nolan made him feel 100% safe and even boosted his confidence with his words of encouragement. He can't stop talking about how cool Nolan was. And the hike out of the canyon was absolutely gorgeous....an unexpected bonus to the canyoneering tour. And on the hike out both Tyler and Nolan were incredibly engaging with all of us....I can't say enough good about these guys. We were so impressed with the Adventure Center....from the friendliness of the booking staff and how easy it was to get all of our adventures scheduled to the knowledge, expertise and friendliness of the guides. 10/10 recommend the Moab Adventure Center! read more

Did the full day rafting...opted for the two-person kayak. Had the best time! The whole operation was great. Reservations were confirmed and clarified via email. Their guides were well trained and professional and had entertaining fun personalities. The midday lunch on the river at Red Cliffs was really tasty and generous...my life jacket was a little tight on the second half of the trip. Bought a few things in their shop and was surprised at how good the prices were...very competitive rather than trying to stick it to you on your vacation. read more

We booked d for a half day rafting trip with MAC on Thursday noon for Friday morning. When we checked our booking in the evening, we realized they booked us for Thursday morning (for past trip). We immediately called MAC. Person on call did not apologized instead showed that she is doing a big favor by correcting it. Most of the business in this town do not know what is customer service is. Next day we go for rafting in very old bus. Out guide was McKenna. She was ok. Some of the information she gave was good but looked like they supposed tokeep talking whole time. As she kept talking about random stuff which nobody was interested in. Water level in the river was low ( mid of aug 2013) and it was not very clean. Trip was good but we were expecting it to be much better than this. read more

We were terribly disappointed by the AM rafting tour. The tour is rather expensive for what you get: 60$ for 3 hours of mellow waters where nothing happens. The guide is actually doing all the work and is paddling alone 95% of the time. We encountered exactly three rapids in the 3h trip, and this is where we got to do something: paddle for 10 secs and that's it. This was a long way from adventure... Still, apart from that, everybody there was very friendly and everything went smoothly. So three stars for the staff! read more

So many rafting companies in Moab it's so hard to choose the right one . But I just didn't really get any good vibes from a few other companies ( return emails were really short and sharp In their responses for rafting info) We found Moab adventure just by accident, we were walking by and thought what the heck let's check it out. So glad we did. Staff was great. They were friendly explained everything and set up our trip for the next day . Arrived nervous unsure if we just spent a lot of money on something we would regret . We began our trip with a bus ride down the 128 which is actually a fun little ride with a driver ( so sorry I forgot your name) who kept us entertained during the ride providing info and pointing out funny unique landmarks .. We arrived at the drop point , we were fitted with jackets and off we went. Evan was our engaging guide but Rachel from the second boat was just as wonderful. Such a great float with a few small rough areas and the bestest ever lunch at Red Cliffs Lodge ( oh how I hope to stay here someday ) don't forget to walk up to the winery for some free wine tasting .. I would easily recommended Moab adventure for anyone wanting a great trip ( they truly want you to have a good time ) Can't wait to go back next summer .. BTW still thinking about the awesome pasta salad and chunky coleslaw from the provided lunch yummy!! read more

had a great time on the pm rafting tour! wayne our bus driver was awesome. Beautiful drive. Brian our river guide was great - super chill and funny and informative, but authoritative and in control. river was calmer than expected , only two small Rapids but what can you do. highlight was the lunch stop at the winery and lodge. this is almost worth the price alone! usually "lunch included" means some crappy sandwich or hot dog. this was legit - burgers, fancy buns, sloppy joes, 4 different kinds of salad, and grilled cookies. yes you heard me. great vibes with this company. if you want a chill day and don't want to get thrown from the boat, go here ! read more

Drove 8 hours and bought a $200 a night hotel just to take my girlfriend rafting for her 30th birthday. Once we took the nauseating bus ride to the drop off point, they cancelled due to wind, even though there were other companies going. We were killing some time in Moab and stopped by to see if we could find some out-of-season deals. It being February, there were. The clothing rack with the sign above it "Everything marked with (a yellow sticker) is $5" caught my attention and a few minutes later I had scored a pair of shorts, a shirt, and a pair of Teva flip-flops for $12. We even scored a pair of great hiking/water shoes for my boyfriend (half off!) I can't wait to come back when they're in season and see if they can keep up the great experience I had today. read more

Easy transaction. Great staff. They pointed us in the right direction for a day jeeping fun and it was perfect. The jeep was great to drive. I was surprised how easy it was to get the jeep and get a clear map that they provided. I called another place and they didn't have any maps and said to get a map at a gas station - dumb.
