This is my 2nd time at this Spa, but first time leaving a review. My Masseuse Chieu was very attentive and asked me what areas did I need for her to concentrate on. Upon entering the massage room Chieu handed me a wood bowl with sea salt. She said to close my eyes and put my hopes, wishes and dreams into the bowl. Once completed they take all the sea salt collected from the clients throughout the week and the sea salt is then released into the ocean. What a nice calming ritual right? The spa here is very clean and organized. All the staff are so kind. This spa experience has truly been relaxing. Especially when you're laying in the comfortable lounge chairs sipping on Ginger Peach Tea listening to the soothing ocean waves. There is a Jacuzzi and Steam room for your enjoyment. Do not hesitate booking your spa experience here as you will not be disappointed.

Not a big spa but we never had to share the hot tub or the relaxation room with any others. So I believe it's bc they space out the times per guest very well. I truly thought it would have been packed on a Saturday? But we had the place to ourselves! Good massage, very thorough. Nice teas offered. They do automatically add 20% gratuity, which I'm fine with but it's good to know going in:) You are allowed 1 hour access to the spa area an hour before your service and you're allowed 1 hour after.

Best massage I've ever had! From the facilities to the staff to the location, this place is incredible. Every time my partner and I visit Waikiki we make it a point to schedule an appointment here. Ivan and Aaron are both excellent, I've worked with Aaron once and Ivan twice but they're both highly skilled at what they do and I'd happily see either again based on their availability. Also the staff goes the extra mile to make your experience worth the admittedly high price tag. During our most recent visit we were excited to use the whirlpool at the spa but unfortunately the men's side was under renovation during our stay, so to make up for it they upgraded us to the ocean front couples massage room with a coconut milk bath free of charge. We've been three times now and we will certainly be back in the future.

The relaxation room just another view is so nice here

I definitely recommend Moana Lani Spa from the physical therapist who does the massages to the esthetician who do hydrofacials and everything underneath they have hot rooms cold rooms champagne they cater to you it's worth all your time and your coin is better than the competitions I've been I do recommend if I'm making this review you know it's good

I surprised my partner with massages here our first full day on the island. We both enjoyed some time in the jacuzzi before our massages... I wish it had been clear that we would not be together in the same jacuzzi. I also wish it had been clear on how to book a couples massage. We did end up in the same room for our massages, but only after clarifying questions and asking for an "upgrade" to be together. He had a Lomi Lomi, which he days was very similar to a Swedish massage. I had a Heavenly Signature massage. We both enjoyed them and felt truly ready for vacation!

Delightful morning spent getting pampered by my sister in law. Conveniently located where we were staying w/ gorgeous beach views and a light breeze through the windows. My masseuse was attentive and consistently checked in to make sure the pressure was good. And oh my, she was strong - love love love! Felt like utter putty after she was done which is totally a great thing! Would definitely come back the next time we visit.

Spa day was a huge success! We rented a private room that overlooked the ocean for us to have a massage together. We went with the full body medium pressure 59 minute Hawaian massage. It was very relaxing and well done. After the message we enjoyed a private bath in a soaking tub with coconut oil and sipped champagne. Before and after the message you have full use of the spa facilities including a hot tub, sauna, and relaxation room overlooking the beach. Might have started a new tradition!

Fabulous pedicure. This is in the Westin. The pedicure was just what I ordered and needed. It starts with a relaxing massage chair and my feet completely taken care of and finished off my chosen polish. 80 minutes of being taken care of. It was really nice.

I think this was the best massage and all over ambience that I have ever experienced. Every vacation I have ever booked, i book at a nearby spa and this one has set HIGH expectations. From the second you walk into the hotel which is absolutely beautiful. Everybody is super accommodating and everybody at the spa is as well. We got a couples massage & it was an ocean view overlooking the beach, I was very surprised all you can hear is the waves and not all the people at the beach because it was super busy. We also upgraded our massages to use the in room, hot tub after words and you get champagne as well. This place was highly recommended and now I know why. Totally worth it if you ask me. Will definitely be back when we are in the area.

Are the jacuzzi/pool co-ed, or will couples be in a separate jacuzzi/pool?

What are the temperatures of the hot tubs? Is water in the tubs and pools chlorinated or seasalt? Is…

I believe the hot tubs are 90-110 degrees. They are not salt water. It is not co-Ed. Swimsuit is required for hot tub.

Are the jacuzzi/hot tubs private? I'm going alone and i really don't want to share a hot tub with anyone. Thank You

The jacuzzi is not private. One each in the male and female spa areas.

As soon as you check in for your appointment, there are forms you will have to complete and while you do that, you are provided with a warm face towel and soothe the nerves and to begin your relaxation treatment. The staff member that greeted me was very warm and welcoming. You are offered a luxurious robe and slippers to wear during the entirety of your spa treatment. Prior to entering your treatment room, they ask you to wait in a beautifully curated and super cute room with a water dispenser and mixed nuts for you to enjoy while you wait. I had a wonderful massage experience at Uilani Spa from the moment I walked in. Everyone who works there is friendly and attentive. I was greeted with a refreshing hot towel for my hands and given a consent form to complete. Then I was escorted to the women's locker room with a bathrobe and slippers, where i changed and stored my belongings in a complimentary locker. Afterwards, I relaxed in a quiet, dimly lit lounge until my massage therapist, Yumiko, retrieved me. She expertly honed in on my problem areas before she began working on me. My shoulders were very tight and in pain while she worked on them. I heard my spine pop a few times. It's that moment of "Ahh..." when the pockets of tension you didn't know about are released and you wonder how much you were low grade suffering in daily life without realizing. I signed up for the lomi lomi massage, which I've never had before. I'm not sure if the hot towel treatment is part of every massage they do here but it's a nice touch that helps undo the knots. It's like Uilani thought of every little thing to help you relax beyond the massage itself. The massage cot can be adjusted to a seated position, which is how my massage ended. It's like they're easing you back into being vertical again. The experience continues: You go back to the lounge where you sip iced tea and eat a small crunchy snack before you leisurely make your way back to the locker room for a hot shower. Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, towels, a blow dryer, Q-tips... all provided for you. You're not rushed to pay and get out. This place is about 50% more than another place where i had a one year membership, but all the little touches they use to enhance your relaxation and enjoyment make the experience so relaxing. You didn't just get a massage, you got a full relaxing experience.

I was honestly blown away by both the service and the amenities. I did the basic scrub package, which came out to around $100 total including the $50 entrance fee, and it was absolutely worth it. The entrance gives access to all the spa amenities including the charcoal sauna, red clay sauna, steam sauna, dry sauna, hot tub, and cold plunge tub. I came in around 10 AM without an appointment and they were still able to accommodate me for an 11:30 scrub, which I really appreciated. I highly recommend making an appointment though, especially if you're planning on getting a scrub or package service. I was able to experience all of the amenities, and for most of the saunas I actually had the rooms to myself, which made the experience feel even more relaxing and peaceful. Honestly, this would make a perfect solo date or even such a great girls' day activity. My scrub was done by Young, and she was amazing. It wasn't enough to ruin the experience, but it was the only moment that felt a little awkward. Other than that, my experience was amazing from start to finish. For me, I expect more if I'm paying a total of $187 for a 60-minute massage. FACILITY: There's a utilitarian wet sauna (e.g., no aromatherapy), dry sauna, and hot & cold pools inside; a small lounge area is outside with what appears to be a jacuzzi. I say "appears" because I just happened to notice the jets. There was no sign identifying it or explaining how to turn it on. The wet sauna was off and there was no sign explaining how to turn that on, either. PERSONAL AMENITIES: You're given a nice robe and one towel. I was only told to bring a bathing suit, so I was expecting disposal spa slippers. Nope. I had to walk everywhere barefooted, including the locker area where people (naturally) had walked in their outside shoes. Ugh. You could pick up a small tube of hand/body lotion, a small shaving kit (disposable razor & tube of generic shaving cream) and/or a small vanity kit (tiny nail file, cotton swabs & cotton pad) at the sinks. There were no snacks or even drinking water available unless you had a massage -- then you were given a bottle of water when it was over. MASSAGE: This is the first time I thought to myself, while getting a massage, "This woman could easily kill me with her bare hands!" Her hands were that strong. She'd asked me if I wanted my massage "hard" or "soft," and I replied, "medium, and we'll see how that goes." Well, it went very painfully at times -- I had to tell her repeatedly to go softer. It's a week later and my shoulders still hurt with certain movements. SERVICE: The receptionist (the only person always onsite; the masseusses and such are called in when needed) was not very gracious when I asked her how to turn on the wet sauna and only reluctantly went back and did it ... so I didn't bother to request her help to use the jacuzzi. Clear communication, in general, was lacking. For one, I was told on the phone that a bathing suit was necessary for the saunas, but once I got there, was told I could choose to just wear a towel. I've read the other reviews, and I see that they offer a kamaaina discount. No one told me that, even though I said at multiple points (on the phone and onsite) that I lived in the neighborhood.
