We found this place on Yelp, and I was honestly excited when I saw one of the features--they wash your feet, which sounded like a nice, relaxing touch. When we arrived, the staff were friendly and very accommodating, which made a great first impression. They did wash our feet with warm water and salt, and that part was actually nice. However, things started to go downhill after that. We were taken to a room that was only divided by curtains, so we could clearly hear other people talking the entire time. The lights were extremely bright, and I kept hoping they would dim them during the massage, but they never did. The massage itself was disappointing. The therapist who worked on me seemed unsure of what he was doing--it didn't feel like a proper massage at all. I was also left feeling very cold, and no blanket was offered until another massage therapist noticed I was shivering and stepped in to help. We were offered an add-on for a head massage, which we agreed to. Unfortunately, that was probably the most disappointing part. There was no real massage--it honestly just felt like someone lightly scratching my head. Overall, I left feeling completely disappointed. What a great find! One of my top 3 massages I've ever had. My first time here, I came with my sister and we opted for an hour long foot massages (she only does foot massages) and it did not disappoint. Foot massages are done on the ground floor. The second time I came I went with my girlfriends and called to see if they could take 3 of us and since they said they could we rushed over. When we arrived they were already waiting for us outside and walked us into the building and up the elevator. The ladies up there were very friendly. Had us in a foot bath and had us fill out a questionnaire of problem areas. OHMYGOSH my lady Yan (?) was fantastic and greatly improved my sciatica. First time here. Did not make an appointment but decided to walk in for a lomi lomi + deep tissue massage. They fit us in right away, which was nice. We walked into their 1st floor location, but it looks like it was actually the 2nd floor where their massages are located. One of the staff members guided us upstairs (took the elevator). We were seated in their recliners and then they gave us a hot foot soak with epsom salt and flower petals. They provided some sandals also and placed our shoes by the entrance. Then they scrubbed our feet briefly and wiped our feet dry. We then were guided to our massage beds, which were partitioned with curtains. Looks like there were multiple beds there. They actually offered us a private room elsewhere for a couples massage, but we said we were OK with the current arrangement. I guess some people prefer private rooms but it really didn't matter for us as long as we were covered. You can hear all that is going on on the outside, but it didn't bother us. The 2 massage therapists were sweet and friendly. My massage therapist was great also. I didn't catch her name, but she was great! I enjoyed my massage. They had us complete a questionnaire regarding our medical history and preferred trouble spots, and my massage therapist definitely focused on the more painful spots, which I appreciated. Very pleasantly surprised! Walking in off the street with my mom. The front room was a bunch of chairs for their foot massages (not pictured). Selected the 60 min full body and they took us upstairs to everything that you see in the pictures. Included was a foot soak and scrub (where they put little leis on us) and then we were taken to another room for the full body massage. Had little baskets for our things and everything. I also asked if they had a shower because we were catching a flight after and I didn't want to be oily on it, and they let me use the shower :) Only $88 for each of us (tipped $20 on top of that). I get weekly massages in San Diego so I decided to give this place a try while working in Waikīkī this week after reading all the good reviews. In my opinion, it's not worth close to $100 for a hour. It's advertised as $88/hr for the Lomi Lomi massage, but when the nice woman asked me to pay the total, it was $99 and change. I was surprised, she said that's Hawai'i taxes. We also have high taxes in California, but when I get a massage, the price is the price! To the owner: you should add the TOTAL someone will pay so they can decide whether or not a one hour massage is worth that price or not. First off..I was surprised at how many five star reviews they received so I was so excited to schedule 120 minute deep tissue massage. What a disappointment. -Massage rooms are not private...9 tables in one small room separated with a shower curtain. No privacy...I could hear everything happening on the table next to me. -music is on a loop and if you're there long enough you'll hear the same music repeating. -the window was open...room was warm and you could hear street/traffic noise. This is Waikiki so sirens, etc. nothing relaxing about this experience. -the massage. Not sure I would call it a massage...most of it was touching and grabbing on your skin with some fist bumping. No long strokes...no working out knots, etc. When I checked in I circled my IT bands and shoulders as an area of focus. No work was done on either. No knots worked out. Nothing therapeutic was done. The ladies were nice and they received so many positive reviews? We were all a bit skeptical once we turned left and headed down a sketchy looking street to a sketchy looking building. But once we got into the actual massage studio, all our fears melted away. I had such a good time here! I had doubts because the building's exterior is somewhat run down-but inside it's very clean and nice. They are very welcoming. I had 60 minute $85 combination massage (with selective essential oil $10 plus surchage) session, Level 3 on pressure and it was so great- it made me feel refreshed after a tiring day on a trip. They ask you if there is any spot in particular you want to focus- I targeted my exhausted feet/ calves and it was such a rejuvenating experience-I fell asleep at one point. I was in a room with my group-and the others were very accomodating and constantly communicating about the pain tolerance so I don't think anyone needs to be worried. I would revisit if I could. Before the massage they had us do a warm foot bath which helped relax me even more, it was a nice touch. I had the Swedish and I requested he focused a lot on neck and shoulders and my other half had the deep tissue massage.
