It was late, we were stuck in a parking garage at 10 PM with no tools, and we trusted their guidance. The mechanic started service around 4 or 5 PM and we didn't leave until 1 AM. We were charged $681 total, including $165 for a diagnostic and the cost/labor for two batteries. The mechanic mentioned we could replace the batteries ourselves to save money, but that really wasn't realistic given the situation we were in. The biggest issue was the lack of communication. For hours, there was no clear diagnostic explanation, and it wasn't until after the batteries were replaced around 10 PM that we were told the issue might be related to a computer system failure. This was not mentioned at all before we replaced the batteries, which made it feel like we were going in circles. After everything was done, we still didn't have a working car, and we were left without any real answers or codes to understand the problem. Eventually, we had to tow the car to Pep Boys, where they diagnosed and fixed the issue for just $177. We feel that this mobile service could've been more transparent and provided clearer communication throughout the process. Given the high cost and lack of results, I'm sharing this review to help others avoid the same frustrating experience. Not knowing any service shops, based off reviews, I selected Anthem to have it towed to. I sent an email and left information and what had happened with it just hoping that they could possibly get to it the next day, which was a Friday, so I could drive back to SC that evening. Knew it was a long shot but Brett and team (Forry and Chris) squeezed it in, found the issue (fan wasn't working), got the OEM part in before ordering cutoff and got it fixed by the end of the day so I could drive back home that evening. I was so impressed with the communication and transparency throughout, including diagnosis and pricing. From when Brett initially called me in the morning, his attention to the details I provided in describing all the symptoms and events, to diagnosis, quickly ordering the part in and getting it worked in. I knew it would be difficult to get it fixed before the weekend, but they went above and beyond to make it happen. Even checking back a couple days later to make sure it was running okay and I had no further issues. I don't give long reviews often, but I was so very impressed with their kindness, understanding and thoroughness to get me back on the road. Finding a quality automotive service company can be difficult and take a couple of tries, but I feel very fortunate to have found them on my first shot. They stated multiple times over the years that their "classic car guy" was an expert and could handle a classic car. For the first 5 years of living in atlanta, I took my classic mercedes here until they finally told me their classic car guy was leaving and they wouldn't touch my car going forward. Frankly, they did 5 years of changing my oil and nothing else but they'd charge me for what they called "regular maintenance". Regular maintenance on a classic car should include a lot more than just topping up the oil and calling it a day, but every time I'd mention knocking noises or brake issues or anything else to them, they wouldn't address it at all so I had no idea if they thought it was an issue or didn't. Finally 5 years later, thank god their classic car guy left, because I took it over to a place in Decatur and all of the things I had been worried about, they found a reason, they gave me a full breakdown online of what they recommended and why, they answered all of my questions, and I could pay the invoice online and feel good about it. Update: As of 9:30 p.m., Jacob, the owner, repeatedly called and texted me after my review. He first falsely claimed I'd only visited once four years ago, then offered to pay me, which I refused. After that, he pulled up what he claimed were years of invoices that were not real, despite the fact that I have the original receipts for my own transactions. Even after I repeatedly told him to stop contacting me, he continued until I had to block his number. Based on both my experience and his behavior afterward, I would never recommend this business.

After their "diagnostic," I was told my rotors were warped and agreed to repairs totaling about $2,200, believing they had actually identified the problem I came in for. They didn't. The original noise, wobble, and vibration were still there. I brought the car back, and suddenly they discovered that my driveshaft was completely loose--and now I'm being quoted another $1,500+ just for the part. How does a shop perform a diagnostic for noise, wobbling, and vibration and completely miss a major driveline issue? I spent thousands of dollars based on their diagnosis, the actual problem was never fixed, and now I'm expected to spend thousands more for something that should have been identified the first time. At this point, I feel completely taken advantage of. I would not trust this shop with another repair.
