Since moving to Bishop four years ago, BVH has ministered to my two pugs, Gus and Stanley. Unfortunately. Gus had to be euthanized three years ago, and the staff handled that professionally and with consummate sensitivity. A couple of months later I adopted Stanley. BVH has looked after him since then. I have been very pleased with his care by BVH. Both the front office and medical staff have done outstanding work, and I trust them! I highly recommend them!

He did everything he could to keep him going even though he had congestive heart failure. He even came to the house to help TruMan cross the rainbow bridge. It was his day off and he was headed to dinner and dropped everything to come. He's very kind and compassionate and I trust him with all my dogs . Forester my puppy has been his patient since he was 8 weeks old . I appreciate all he does and how loving he is with all three of my pups . I highly recommend Joel .

Their first available appointment was a full week away, and they wanted $125 simply to walk through the door for a same-day "emergency" visit. This wasn't an emergency, but I was offered nothing else. The $125 was in addition to any services they'd actually provide, and I wasn't going for that unless there were absolutely no other choices. So, I called Mtn. View. We got a next day appointment. The women working the front desk were very friendly and helpful. They all seemed like super caring people and like they were really happy to be working there. The vet we saw was Dr. Lequient, who was also very caring. She listened well, considered about our pup's comfort as she examined him, and was very careful in her diagnosis. We liked her a lot. In general, we are interested in holistic animal care, and I don't think there's any place in Bishop that offers that. Dr. Lequient wanted to give our dog a systemic antibiotic for his superficial wound, and we politely declined it. She was OK with that. We took home some cleansing wipes and an antibiotic cream, to be used for 7 - 10 days. The wound healed overnight, so we discontinued usage. The doctor also inquired about vaccinations, which we don't do, but she was pretty accepting of our position. I wouldn't say she's spectacularly holistic, but she seems to respect owners' wishes. Here's the best part: someone from the office called us one or two days later, to check in and see how our dog was doing. Again, nice conversation with someone who really sounded like she cared (and I'm sure she did). I am totally sold on this office! And the little details: we were seen on time; the office is spacious and clean; no one tried to sell us anything.

Was coming into…read moremammoth for a camping trip and learned very last minute that the mosquitos are pretty bad this year due to all the water from this winter. We don't really have mosquitos where we are from and our dog is not on any heart worm preventative. When I learned about the mosquitos (morning that we were supposed to hit the road) I called my vet in my home town and they weren't able to squeeze us in. I almost didn't bring my dog but decided to try to call a vet in mammoth and called Alpen. I explained my worry for the heart worm and they were happy to take me in that day!! Once we got into town, we stopped by and we're able to get some preventative. The lady at the front was so nice and helpful. Later that night when we pulled up to our first campsite there were HUNDREDS of mosquitos. Our car was swarmed from the second we pulled up. After some time prepping with bug spray we made our way out. Proud to say my dog seemingly got no bites over our 4 day stay all thanks to Alpen vet! Very thankful they were able to get us in on such short notice.

Kellan was super friendly and let us know his availability today. We took the first available after his current client. My friend received a text message confirmation after we booked the walk in appointment. The wash & dry took about 30 and my friend got a notification to pay online right when they were done. It was so quick and convenient. The salon is super clean and well organized. There are plenty of products for you to pick up on the go if you needed to re-up or want to try new snacks. We were worried she would get freaked out with the dryer but she did great and loved the heat from the dryer. Whitney was returned to us smelling heavenly and feeling super soft! -complete with little bows!No longer a dirty poopie trail doxie! She was so relaxed and happy!

Betty Jo was so sweet…read morewith our little girl from the moment we arrived that we were able to enjoy our days on the slopes knowing that our fur baby would be safe and well cared for. We loved getting updates and pictures throughout the day and knew RoRo had a great time with Betty Jo from how relaxed and happy she was when we picked her up. On her second day, RoRo went running to Betty Jo with tail wagging like she was a beloved family member and had a great time hanging out with her new buddy Echo. We are so happy to have a wonderful place to leave our baby girl when visiting Mammoth.
