Easily a 20-30 minute ordeal during high times for commuter traffic. I think beginning of last year, they completely remodeled and reopened this Costco gas area. It was given multiple extra pumps, a much better flow for traffic, and the sensors for the pump areas so you know when to pull forward in line. Now when I stop here, I either pull up directly to a pump or maybe wait 5 minutes max. The worst time of day you will still only see a 5 to 10 minute wait. It has been absolutely worthwhile and I will now sometimes go out of my way to fill up here. Thank you for the upgrade, corporate!

When I called the store the young sounding girl couldn't have cared less, she stated very matter of factly that all smiths apple fritters have walnuts, as if someone who has never purchased one would know that. This gas station is not your normal gas station. They have a little bit of everything in here. My favorite thing about this Sully's is the Smith's bakery inside. Yes I know, Smith's is everyone's reminder of their childhood in Bakersfield... but for some reason I never get tired of the champagne cupcake. It's my favorite here. Other than the goodies from Smith's you can find deals on the energy drinks and also you get a little small reward if you sign up and get a Sully's card. It's kind of a little coupon card basically. I'm not an energy drink person, but I'll get it from time to time for my husband or my oldest son. This facility is clean and the staff is really nice. My last visit here everyone was super cheerful early in the morning. Very nice way take start your day is to visit an establishment where everyone makes you feel like they are happy you came to visit. It's actually a very unpleasant experience, but you go through it to get the deals and great selection that Kirkland offers. Despite the crowds, they do their very best to get you in and out. They have done their best to streamline their "self-checkout" process. However, the Costco Food Court lines are crazy long, and move at different paces based on who is attending to it. I wish they did have drink carriers, since the hot dog is a common item that is ordered and it comes with a drink. Those drinks stack up and it would be convenient to have a drink carrier to manage all of the drinks. They recently added chicken tenders to their menu, and I don't recommend them. You get 5 tenders for $6.99. They come with a Chick-Fil-A-type sauce, but it doesn't help cover just how salty the tenders are on their own. And they were extra salty! The strawberry banana smoothie also tasted very processed. I wouldn't recommend that either. I miss the classic berry smoothie they used to offer back in the day. I'll stick to the Costco hot dog deal.
