I had a nail in my tire that could have been removed and patched with no issue, but whoever I spoke with pulled out some diagram and told me because it was in the shoulder I would need a totally new tire. I knew this didn't sound right so I told him that, and he advised me to "go to a mom and pop shop because no corporate business will repair it because of where it is" I asked how much a tire would be and he told me I would need to replace all 4 tires. At this point I was irritated and ended up at Les Schwab who no problem patched the hole and removed the nail without issue! If you want to be lied to and told that you need things that you don't, this is the place for you.

Regardless, they were willing to honor my $10 coupon from Valvoline, which was nice of them. The mechanics were fast and handled my car's oil change quickly and correctly. They were conversational during my visit too and made me feel welcome. I did a little bit of driving around and checked fluids when I got home - no leaks and no issues whatsoever. I did a full synthetic oil change and didn't even notice until I got home that they took $15 instead of $10 off - a pleasant surprise!
