Thursdays seems to be an issue, as a number of Thursdays they will be out of gas or they will conveniently only have premium gas available. I have no idea what the issue is and why they are out of gas so often, as I have never had this issue with other gas stations. This particular Shell Station has closed and reopened under new management several times in the last decade and never has done well. I would have liked to give more than one star but considering gas is a vital component of a gas station, the lack of gas precludes a higher score.

Just wanted enough gas to get us closer, not a full fill-up, but in the time that it took to wash the windshield, it was full. So that was a plus. I didn't go inside since it was kind of late, and my 'navigator' went inside just to get drinks (since we paid at the pump). I sat there seemingly forever, watching the bustling station across the road. Figured he'd taken an unexpected pit stop or something. Nope. Said the fountain machines were exceptionally slow. I checked out the desserts, brisket sandwiches and all of the beef jerky. I then went to the Buccees shot glasses. Of course, I took pictures of the Buccees truck along the way. The staff was friendly and able to help me find what I was looking for. My friends and I shopped and ate for two hours! Since there isn't a place to eat, we ate inside my friend's car. The bathrooms are clean with no wait time. I enjoyed looking at the artwork when I entered the bathroom. I noticed there were other products that looked like it belonged to a Hallmark store and fishing store. Buccees has whatever you need and more. The brisket was delicious and I loved the sauce. The sandwich was just enough for me. My friends and I had a fantastic time perusing Buccees and now I know why people are obsessed.

The number of fuel pumps they have is only matched by the number of always clean bathrooms. Need some good Texas BBQ? They have tasty brisket, sausage, and various other options. Lots of fountain drinks, icees, and coffee. If your looking for someone sweet the fudge and freshly made nuts are great to. Of course if you just need gas or to stop for a EV charge you should be able to get in and out pretty quick. Only complaint is they don't have more of them along the gulf coast! :)

Imagine my surprise to stop at this gas station, which by the way is the ONLY gas station for about 5 miles down a very dark road, to discover that they charge a higher price if you aren't paying cash. My ten cent savings turned into two cents. NOTE: YOUR DEBIT CARD IS NOT CONSIDERED CASH. Kinda spooky when you're at the pumps all alone at 1 in the morning and trying to make it down 5 miles of dark roads to get to the highway, but I'm sure that just the nerves of knowing the people in the store will probably have no sympathy if you run out of gas knowing they are the only gas game for miles and miles. Also sorta dark, since their signage is seemingly always half lit and the other nearby businesses are closed and have no additional lighting.
