Pros: Jason + Steven were awesome. Cons: Brought my Dodge Journey in for what mufflerman said was likely transmission. Courtesy gets it and says my battery is dead and that could cause the issue with the code because they don't see any transmission issue yet asks to fix it for $800. One weekend later they charge me $1200 because they needed to replace some wires. Fine. Literally the next day car won't start. I get it jumped. Next day won't start again. This is with my $800 brand new battery and $400 wiring. I'm not a car guy in any sense of the word however I truly believe they broke something and refused to take ownership. My car worked before I brought it in and didn't after I left. Last thing I heard was the BCM was drawing power from my battery (which it wasn't before I brought my car in) junked the car after they told me it would be another $800. RIP Big Bertha. read more

A dealership that is honest and does right by the customer. We purchased our first Wagoneer on 5/2/24 from Dale. It was used and we flew in from out of state. Dale was able to make sure that EVERYTHING was perfect on our used vehicle. Everything we had discussed over the phone stayed the same when we arrived. The Wagoneer was is in great condition, and we feel we got a very good deal. Months later, we realized there was a clerical error made on our Mopar extended warranty. Worst service ever!! Held my car for 2 months and claimed they could not find the problem with my brakes. Had no choose but to 'sell' them my dodge avenger 2104 (with 68,000 miles from NY) and ended up buy a used car from them. Not even a dodge!!! I feel I got scammed and charged for $2000 for work they did not even perform. Was given the run around numerous times about it until I broke the bank and could not even afford to get my car towed to another shop. If you have a car with low milage and no snow damage and run into any kind of issue, do not take it to them. Courtesy Dealership - Wyoming Michigan Definition of a slimy used care salesman Kind? Honorable? Polite? That would have been nice. Unfortunately, These would not be the words to define the experience at Courtesy. Instead inept, rude, dishonest- That's more realistic. I was told verbatim that they treat everyone like their family upon my initial contact. Unfortunately, unless you were interested in a an abusive family experience it is not one I would recommend anyone. Today I was concisely informed via email that the dealership would not be able to proceed with the sale of a car that I had worked with Todd Whitaker for over seven days to purchase a vehicle from an out-of-state location. To be fair Todd was polite throughout the majority of the experience. From the very beginning, I informed the dealership of my goal to purchase a specific vehicle, my home location of Chicago across state lines, intention to financing through my company, all with the response of this should be no problem. After five days of and lackluster communication, I was informed that due to a high risk of fraud they're unable to provide business financing across state lines and asked me to procure my own financing, which I happily did with my bank, US Bank. Upon receiving my financing through my business banking, I reached out to the dealership once again with zero response for two days. Once I did make contact with Todd, I once again asked for a grand total not just the sales price of the car, but also the total to be incurred with taxes, plates, etc. - this was never provided, even though it was requested multiple times over the span of seven days. After assuming the personal ding to my business credit to attain financing for this specific vehicle at the dealerships bequest, I was informed via email that courtesy Dodge could no longer proceed with the sale of this vehicle. No explanation for the U-turn or change of heart. I never recieved the total for car sale, was never told they could not sell across state lines, no provided with any explanation. In attempts to understand the rationale, I contacted the manager of the dealership, Eric. As this transaction took considerable time and energy. Eric proceeded to be one of the most rude impolite, unprofessional, accusational and curt individuals I've ever dealt with in my entire life. I explained the situation and he accused me of fraud and stated I was unwilling to send a wire transfer- this was blatantly untrue. I simply asked that I would have a grand total prior to sending a wire transfer for an unknown amount which he refused to do. He once again questioned my motivations to purchase the vehicle. I completely respect the right of every privately owned dealership to sell vehicles to whom ever they like, however, I find this specific transactional instance to be beyond acceptable behavior. Moral of the story is unless you are a neighbor or "family member" of Courtesy they're not interested in your business. They're not interested in the tens of thousands of dollars you were interested in exchanging for a vehicle. Instead, they're more interested in wasting your time and accusing you of illicit behavior with no proof other than their inability to complete a transaction that's beyond their intelligence level. Unfortunately, this experience at courtesy is a hallmark example of what's wrong with unprofessional individuals who are thrust into the requirements of an adult job we are communication, regardless of outcome, is required to complete the job in a professional manner. I adore my mechanics, I do, they're amazing. The problem with really fabulous mechanics is that they book up quick. With my stupid schedule that just doesn't work for me. Thankfully Courtesy is my happy next choice. They're a little farther from home but they always help me right away. Being a Dodge dealer they're totally comfortable with my vehicle (I did stop at a different dealer, not a Dodge, and they refused to work on my Charger.) We came here for a recall fix to our dodge grand caravan. Aside from having to be patient for the manufacturer to send them the necessary part, we were amazingly pleased with our service. Once they received the part, they called me to set up an appointment- working around my schedule. I ended up being a few minutes late, and they welcomed us with smiles and great hoapitality. We were sent to the customer lounge to wait (given an approximate time of 90 min for the fix). A mechanic came in with an estimate of needed work based on "the mileage age of our vehicle." I informed him that my husband does all of our maintenance, and he complimented my husband on good work. :) We made ourselves at home in the lounge. Seriously....amenities galore: coffee, tea, cookies, tv, Internet usage, comfortable chairs, puzzle table, kids corner, charging station....I was impressed. The lounge puts some hotel lobbies to shame. In the end, the fix took 1 hour - which made me even happier than ever! The van was clean and tidy where they had done their recall work. Just what I would expect from a reputable dealership. Of course as soon as we get home with it Saturday from the dealership there is a warning light on the dash. When you call the service department they don't answer the phone and when you leave a message they don't call you back. Then when you have to drive there to get a appointment and be told you have to wait two weeks to get in and no guarantee as to how long it will be before they will have your issue addressed. They push buying a service contract yet this is what you get when you have to use it. Then to be told your issue isn't covered under the contract. read more

This is t even a review for myself, but an example of why this place is the best. An older lady was sitting near me and I over heard the service tech talking with her. He told her what needed to be done and it was going to be about $580. But the tech stressed to her that none of it was vital and there was no rush to fix these items. He assured her that there would be no danger if the repairs didn't get done today. She ended up deciding to do the repairs. The tech told her she would be there for at least another 2 to 3 hours. He offered to take her home and pick her back up even before she could have asked for that. I have had nothing but amazing experiences when I've come. My repairs are done quickly, efficiently, and with the best quality! I had a persistent check engine light that was occurring even after repairs had been done. Courtesy worked on it, no charge to me, until it was done right! I haven't had a problem since! They are so polite, and accommodating and don't try to nickel and dime you for every little thing. They do what you ask and only make suggestions with out pressure to get them done right then and there. I won't go anywhere else! read more

Went here to look at a Ford Escape they had on the used lot. My husband submitted an application and everything, they were suppose to call the next day to get it submitted and get the ball rolling. He calls them and finds out his worker isn't in today, he asks the man who answers to get his app going and he says there's no one in the finance office today. I found that hard to believe...so they weren't selling any cars that day? They pretty much gave us the run around and then sold the car that day to someone else. My car has only 30k miles, and I came in because a switch on my window had to be replaced and my engine light kept coming on. Additionally, I had to replace my battery, which I already knew, but they wanted to charge me over $300 and as soon as I said I was going to autozone instead, Rob told me that they were not going to see why my engine light came back on. They charged me $60 for telling me that I needed a new battery, which I already knew, but decided againsthabing my battery replaced with them. So I did only to find out it was an hour wait as well.
