My thirst demanded I go with 64 ounces of mountain dew... gone in less than 5 minutes and an apology to my bladder and I was ready for my return to the beach. It's not just a fountain machine stop. They underwent a make-over not too long ago so all the self-serve machines (coffee, frozen icy's, hotdog/sausages, boobs) are brand new and the staff has been good about keeping the machines clean. They even have milkshake machine and considering the milkshakes are half the price of Dairy Queen they are well worth it. In addition to all the other typical convenience store goodies, they even have a walk-in beer freezer. And it's all open 24/7 The only negatives: They tend to get quite busy and normally only have one cashier and a line builds up blocking the whole self-serve area (aka Take Away Cafe). And sometimes the cashiers make small talk with patrons leaving the rest of us in line scratching our heads wondering how soon is it okay to say "move it along please"

I stepped in to say, yeah man, you're being a bit of a jerk, just be nice!. He then told me, since I chimed in I should mind my own business and that he wasn't rude. I tried to reason with Little Napoleon even asking how he would feel if the roles were reversed and it's not that hard to just be nice to people. But Mr Bonapartes ego prevents him from such thoughts. I think our tiny friend needs a little slice of humble pie, and a new job not working with the public. Very nice stuff they have a small selection of items, but I would highly recommend that you do not buy fuel simply because they have a history of high seawater, and it gets into the tank. Several boaters buy their fuel there and truly regret it. Hopefully they can take care of this very soon because I like going to Shell.

Coffee and some of their hot meal pricing is competitive with other Circle K stores; however, many of the snacks seem priced higher than stores outside of Key West. For example, a bag of combos was $5.39 and we paid over $2 for a pack of peanut butter crackers, nuts! The associate working the counter was not super friendly but friendly enough. The store looks like it's a newer store for this area and they have restrooms available for customers. They also have a car wash attached, which I guess is pretty rare in Key West, so if you're looking for a place to wash your car this is it. We will most likely be back again for another coffee since it's so close to where we're staying. If you're in the area and looking for a good convenient store, I recommend stopping here
