The guest in front of me was wanting gas but didn't know the…read morepump number. when he got the front the little Spanish guy at the counter, let's call him "napoleon", told the customer "next time be more prepared, figure it out and come back when you're ready" the patron then said no need to be rude then napoleon proceed to berate him and made no attempt to help the guy locate the pump numbers that i agreed were hard to see. I stepped in to say, yeah man, you're being a bit of a jerk, just be nice!. He then told me, since I chimed in I should mind my own business and that he wasn't rude. I tried to reason with Little Napoleon even asking how he would feel if the roles were reversed and it's not that hard to just be nice to people. But Mr Bonapartes ego prevents him from such thoughts. I think our tiny friend needs a little slice of humble pie, and a new job not working with the public. I will note that the guy running the chicken counter was obviously bothered by the cashiers behavior and tried to step in and help the guy.

Our island only has two gas…read morestations and one stoplight and the Shell station unfortunately is notorious for having as much water in the tank as fuel. Very nice stuff they have a small selection of items, but I would highly recommend that you do not buy fuel simply because they have a history of high seawater, and it gets into the tank. Several boaters buy their fuel there and truly regret it. Hopefully they can take care of this very soon because I like going to Shell.
