Kid says yes sir..so hubby pays him gives him a tip even calls owner and says I physically watched your employee NOT rotate the tires and gave him the opportunity to he HONEST he didnt still charged us. Now yesterday they came out to change oil in my fairly new car & rotate, I go out there is a giant puddle of oil grease prints all over my car and kid proceeds to say oh the last guy which he has mental problems anyway put the oil filter in too tight, Well WHO PUTS AN OIL FILTER IN AFTER YOU CHANGE TGE OIL so now I go to move the car back so I could work on an oil spill they created and my car check engine light is on and says engine in distress! They were trying to beat it out of here before I saw it..Im like wait a minute whats this!? He says oh I gotta go back to shop after they close and get the computer to get that code off n reset car, im like ok its after 5 now. Again call owner owner says he will come up. Never did said the original guy that never rotated the tires that guy says im just here to clean an oil spill (also let him know his fellow employees were putting blame on him and are saying your mentally ill) my husband calls owner whom now proceeds to say he cant get up here but is sending the 1st guys back. We own a successful HVAC company we know mechanics so a simple oil change turned into a nightmare and now I have the worry that they permanently F'ed my vehicle up which after I drive it today if 1 drop leaks my lawyer will be my 1st call. TOTAL INCOMPETENCEY They used to he efficient but ever since some divorce or something happened with the owner its been shit! We will no longer be useing their services and will try Pit stop . I took it to Tires on Location to install a tire...they charged me $65(plus tip) (!!!) to install ONE TIRE! And EXACTLY AS THE LAST TWO POSTERS - THEY DESTROYED MY WHEEL! I own a tire changer - the ONLY way you scratch rims this way - - is if it is intentional, callous, or being inept. I think "Tires on Location" is all three.

My dad had driven our RV from Missouri to the Keys and had run into a low pressure situation. I stopped at the Mobil station near where we were staying on Summerland Key...no luck. The connector didn't fit. I then went to the nearest marine shop. No luck. The dumbo behind the counter said they didn't even have an air pump...even though there was one right behind his chair. He suggested I go on down the road to NAPA auto parts. I did just that. After listening to the two idgits behind the counter cuss at each other for 10 minutes and tell me that they couldn't help me, I just decided to look up a place on my own. I found Monroe Tire on Yelp, but it didn't have any reviews. I decided to go ahead and give it a try. It took me a bit to find it, and when I pulled up, I thought I again wasn't going to get any help. The first guy I talked to clearly didn't want to be there. He simply said that they weren't open and then got up and walked off. The owner then came outside, and I talked to him a bit. I know he was extremely busy and didn't really want to help me, but you wouldn't be able to tell it by talking to him. Keep in mind that I am in a huge RV, and adding air to the tires is no simple task. He really and truly didn't have the time to help me. I could see that he was backlogged, and that he was working the weekend to catch up. Regardless, I was in a pickle and didn't want to make the 23 hour drive home with low tires. After a minute of talking, he agreed to help. Even though he had a shop geared for regular maintenance, he brought out everything in his arsenal to help get the huge rear wheel caps off so we could get to the valves to check the pressure on the tires. Rather than go through the rest of the story, let me say this: he stopped what he was doing, helped me out of a very tough situation, laughed and joked with me the whole time and ended up only charging me $10. If you need help with any kind of auto service and don't give Monroe Tire a chance, you're missing out.
