The wine and beer selection looked quite good for a convenience store too. The bathrooms were clean and well stocked when I was here. The trash did look like it was piling up and needed to be taken out though. I would have bought some candy but there was a huge line to pay. We came here primarily to fill up and had no problem using the pump outside and paying.

Therefore, if I have a little bit of attitude, it's not towards him or anybody there it's just the fact of the matter that I do all this to start my day when I shouldn't have to because when somebody buys something from the store, it should be ready to go, the assistany or the csr's should have already checked it before putting it out to on the floor to sell. If not, they should be on top of this and check it at least every week to make sure nothing's expired or bad to avoid situations like this. Instead of making it right and making a customer happy, the manager wants to get sassy and say I could get out of the store ??? when I'm being nice and not reporting them telling him he might want to get these whole rows of sodas out because they're all expired. I was a little rude, but it wasn't towards him and I told him that I was on the phone and I was cranky because I had to get up and go exchange the sodas myself and I knew it was gonna be a big long process because I didn't have the receipt with me, but it's on camera and if he looks at the sodas, clearly he'll see they're all expired. I wasn't lying.... I could've handled it better also but like I said a customer shouldn't have to go through all this, when all they wanted was to buy a drink and drink it comfortably at home.

I decided to pay inside using my ARCO business credit card, and the employee immediately insisted it was a "gift card." I showed him the card and explained that it was an ARCO credit card, but he clearly had no idea ARCO even offers business credit cards. What made the situation even worse was his attitude. He tried flirting with me, yet at the same time seemed determined to make things difficult. As soon as a working pump became available, I went outside to use it and he turned the pump off. I moved to another available pump, and he turned that one off too. I have never experienced anything like this at a gas station. If you don't recognize a company's credit card, maybe ask questions instead of assuming it's a gift card and then repeatedly shutting off pumps when a customer is simply trying to get gas. Extremely unprofessional, uncomfortable, and poor customer service. I definitely won't be coming back.

Their bathrooms are the cleanest of any fuel or travel center I've been to. They offer an enormous variety of items at reasonable prices, and their staff is always friendly. I also appreciate how safe I feel there. The dog park is fenced, well-lit, and even stocked with little doggy waste bags--it's wonderful. I'll gladly pass five other travel centers just to stop at a Love's. It's the only place I trust on the road!
