They're miles better than the "shakes" from fast food purveyors that can't even legally be called "milkshakes" due to poor ingredient quality. Stewart's are a great convenience for the towns they serve, which can be pretty rural with few other choices as you get away from their main service area of Albany/Schenectady/Saratoga/Troy. This is worth a visit if you're nearby and don't want McDonald's or Subway for fast food, you want some cold beer, ice cream, cigarettes, lotto, or all of the above!
