Called to get a dime sized window chip/crack repaired. On the scheduled date, they sent someone to come and fix it within 30-35 min. It looked great. Next day went to look at my car and see that the crack reappeared. Messaged back and forth with Joel on figuring out a right time to have his guy come back to look at it. Within about a 3 week time frame of trying to schedule a date, his guy never showed up two times. One, was understandable because Joel contacted me saying his employer called out sick. The other was just recently where there was a no show and no update from Joel. Messaged him back to let him know that I didn't wanna bother him anymore to have someone come look at it and to just give me my money back. Still no response. Had to have the windshield re-sealed again and also replace one of the window trims due to poor workmanship. They did not use enough glue to seal the windshield so when driving i could feel air coming into the car. Just to make sure i wasn't wrong i took my car to a different auto glass shop and asked them to check my windshield. The owner of the new shop took pictures of the windshield after taking it off and i could clearly see that the bottom end of the windshield had minimal glue residue. To make matters worse while driving on the freeway the passenger side trim came undone and flew off. This means that they did not secure it when they replaced the windshield, so besides having to pay extra to re-seal the windshield i also had to get a new trim. Bottom line is be careful with this shop as you may end up paying way more in extra costs because of poor workmanship. read more

Last night in DTLA, a rock was thrown through the passenger-side window of my parked car and the guy went through my stuff. Some douchebag was looking to jack The Big I, really? So this morning I woke up and thought to myself, "hmm, I haven't been gaffled in a long time...who do I call for auto glass around here? Yelp!!??" Welcome to my relaxing weekend! This is a 3-Day Weekend, and while most closed up shop and didn't pick up their phones, there was Mobile Auto Glass! I called at 9:04 AM and the installer arrived at my house at 11:08 AM, and immediately got to work, asking to plug in his vacuum so he could clean up all of the shattered glass that had shot throughout the car. Soon, after he removed the interior door panel, cleaned up more glass (so there wouldn't be any stray glass inside the door, rattling --- how pissed would you be??), replaced the window, tested the power window, reinstalled the panel as well as the door speakers & tweeter...he even tested the speakers to make sure everything was kosher there. After installation was done, he went through and vacuumed again and washed the window, finishing everything within less than 30 minutes. Needless to say, I am happy with the speed and the quality of the service I received. The pricing was extremely budget-friendly too... Oh well, maybe tomorrow I can have brunch... read more
