I have an old house with large, single-pane windows. As a result, things get broken. Earlier this month, my toddler daughter was running around, and she pushed the corner of an armchair into a window. It cracked like crazy. Luckily it didn't shatter, but we were left with a huge broken piece of glass. The pane is like four and a half by three feet. I called Fast Glass and James got back to me right away. He gave me an estimate over text with a picture I sent him and then came over to measure. He ordered another pane, tempered this time, and installed it in good time. The final cost was only slightly over his estimate, and he did a great job. Hopefully we won't need any more glass replaced, but with two little ones, I'm sure we will. Can't recommend Lauren and Fast Glass enough. Fast Glass hits on every key point: quality, speediness, price, and customer service/honesty. I asked for a custom mirror (62in x 60in) for my home gym and it was available for pick up same week. Not only that, the mirror was cut to the exact measurement. You can see from the pictures that I would've been assed out if it'd been an inch long. I actually undersized the mirror just in case, and wish I hadn't because it was exact. From a price standpoint, I called 4 different shops (with worse reviews on Yelp mind you) and Lauren's was the most affordable. In terms of customer service, though I was out of range for delivery, he went out of his way to provide rope and help me secure the mirror to my rental van. He even followed up the next day to make sure that my wife and I got back home with the mirror in one piece. I own a large 1927 Spanish Colonial Revival that is all original and was never "updated," thank God. It's all 1927 here except the plumbing which has been invisibly upgraded. So I'm careful and a bit wary about whom I allow in here to fix things. For example, one idiotic plumber took a look at my beautiful original Art Deco bathroom and said "you ever think about modernizing this?" I showed him the door. What a moron. The prices were entirely reasonable. The quality is excellent. I shall call him again if I need any glass or window help. He replaced a missing pane of glass on my french doors, two on my kitchen windows plus added springs, and a pane in my bathroom and in my daughter's room.
