I got careless while parking my car one day that I accidentally damaged one of my rear view mirrors (not via another car). Luckily, the housing remained intact for the most part and wasn't in need of replacement. The mirror glass, unfortunately, was shattered and needed to be replaced. That evening, I used Yelp's AI Assistant to request a quote, and it fired my inquiry to several businesses, one of which was Sinaloa Auto Glass. Sinaloa had the lowest price, though that might also be because the other businesses thought I needed the entire unit replaced when I just needed the mirror replaced. I needed to get this glass repaired fast, and Sinaloa said the part could arrive within a day after ordering, which requires a pre-payment. They're one of the businesses that were closest to me, so I was more than willing to make the drive not once, but twice to get it fixed. I had to take off work a little early to catch them the first time before they closed. Jessica over the phone told me they close at 5:30 PM the day I called; luckily, I had enough time to book it to the auto glass store before they closed. The quote I requested online was the same as the quote that Jessica gave when I gave a call. However, the initial quote only mentioned a pre-payment up front for the mirror glass, but I had to proactively ask for the cost of labor. It would have been way more efficient if they had listed both prices up front rather than just the cost of the part; otherwise, I could easily have taken my business elsewhere thinking that the cost of labor was in the hundreds! Anyways, I made the drive over to Sinaloa on the southeast corner of Rosecrans and Woodruff. It's in a separate building west of the strip mall. There's an open gate that leads to a parking lot behind their shop, but the office is at the front of the building adjacent to Woodruff. After parking my car, I made my way onto the sidewalk by Woodruff and entered the shop where I saw Jessica behind the teller window. She gave me a form to fill out, instructing me to fill out my name, address, and phone number initially before mentioning the make, model, and year of my vehicle. After doing so, Jessica mentioned my handwriting was kind of small, but was gracious enough to write my phone number bigger so as to not dial the wrong number when my mirror glass was ready to be installed. I almost left the shop without signing the bottom of the form, but Jessica did give me a yellow copy of it as my receipt. Jessica, while helpful, was pretty stern in her service that it almost felt like she was managing the place. Manuel Jr, the manager's son, went out to my car and used a piece of paper to take an outline of the shape of my rear view mirror glass. It took him several minutes to meticulously shape the outline, but even that wasn't enough because the next morning, his father phoned me letting me know there was an issue in getting the glass ready in time. I told Manuel Sr that I was planning to come later today, about an hour and a half before closing time, and he said it was fine, but to expect an hour wait for the glass to be worked. Initially, I thought I would have needed to make a third trip to the auto glass shop, but after about 40 minutes inside the shop, his mechanic called me over to let me know he was done installing the glass on my rear view mirror. Actually, it didn't look complete at first because I saw some blue masking tape stuck on the mirror, but I was told I could remove the tape the next day once everything dries out. So like as early as next morning? He didn't specify, but he did offer to remove the tape in case I got afraid that I'd damage the new mirror glass in the process. Meanwhile, Manuel Sr. was in the office for the most part, but he pretty much treated me like a number and didn't care much about what was going on. I even saw him dozing off on his chair while his mechanic was doing all the hard work! I felt he was so careless I almost thought I could have gotten away with not paying the installation fee, but I paid anyways. He handed me back my yellow receipt, but with some wet spots on it when it wasn't wet at first. Yikes, if that isn't a sign of carelessness, I don't know what is. Manuel Sr. was much more helpful when I asked him to take a look at the mirror the following day after I noticed a small gap between the mirror glass and the housing unit. He mentioned it was more of a cosmetics thing and not much of an issue. Not totally convinced, but he seemed more jovial that day. Overall, it was just an okay experience at Sinaloa Auto Glass. The new glass operates fine on my rear view mirror, but I'd only hire them again if I can't find a better price elsewhere; if there's another business that can offer the same service(s) at the same price(s), I'm more likely to patronize that other business instead. Lastly, don't go there and expect to pay by check, credit, or debit because they are cash only! read more

Norm Reeves Cerritos Honda enlists this company for all their glass repairs and replacements. Horrible idea. I have an ongoing issue with the quarter glass molding on my 2026 Honda Civic, and they had to replace it 2 times, just for the same issue to persist. On top of that, they scratched the top of my car where the molding is and put primer on top of the scratch to cover it up. I enlisted another glass company to come and give me a 2nd opinion. They deemed the quarter glass molding is indeed a manufacturer defect as well as they discovered the scratch was covered up with primer. Beware of this place! read more

About 3 months ago i had a broken into window and came in to get it fixed. Keep in mind i waited a whole entire week till i even considered moving it, after they said it would take about 3 days. Today i go in because the window they fixed stopped going up due to the glue they used and fell off. I go in tell them that I did come in 3 months ago that i came to them. I think her name was Jessica, asked me if i had the receipt, I looked in my car for it but couldn't find it. Understandable that she would need a receipt but she started blaming me that the window fell down and out of place. She kept saying how their "glue is super strong". Saying " Whatever you did made it fall". "Our glue is super strong so it was something you did" Then tried to explain to me like i was dumb saying "the glue takes a while to work, so if you try to move it up it'll get messed up". Even after i explained i waited a week the last time they installed new glass. She could've just said the receipt is missing, say "sorry but i would need a receipt" or at least just be nice about it i wouldn't have been upset. First of all I was violated somebody broke my back window to my brand new 2025 Subaru outback I called the dealership they want $900 to replace the glass. This place is not good. Don't do it. I opted for this place instead of a nationwide glass repair shop and completely regretted it. Sloppy work; the first time they replaced the windshield it wasn't secured and air was blowing through the sides. They replaced that windshield, but then did something wrong with the auto sensors for the windshield. I called multiple times for them to fix it and they blew me odd every time. I went in to replace a broken window. The entire experience was pleasant and the price was affordable. They even cleaned my backseat from the shattered glass. They were referred by Clarks Discount Auto Parts. I did overhear a conversation between a customer and the lady at the front desk... The customer was upset and she said she was told to show up at a certain time and it turns out that this customer was just making up her own rules and demanded to get her whatever fixed. The customer made sure she expressed how busy and frustrated she was. She barked to get her anger validated and made things difficult and uncomfortable for the employees. Customers like this are a grand disappointment and it's heartbreaking to see small businesses suffer due to clients playing victims and demanding to be validated. read more

I had a very good experience with this place. The staff here and their owner, Manuel, are honest and friendly. Was able to easily understand the problems going on with my car as a layman. Two of my windows weren't working so I gave Sinaloa a call. They told me to come in with my car so they could figure out the problem. We were able to isolate the problem to being caused by the main or the passenger power window switch. If the problem wasn't the passenger, the problem would be the main control, which would be more expensive. Came back with the passenger switch to try it out. They figured out it was the main control that wasn't working. Was able to return the part at the nearby AutoZone but was told the main switch would cost about 300 dollars by the employee. Told Manuel this and I got a big break on the price and he got the replacement part himself. Replaced the switch the next day and now all the windows work smoothly now. Will be recommending this place to others in the future! read more

I wasn't going to write a review. I wasn't happy after the install but thought I'll deal with it when time allows. Then I saw that the windshield is actually pulling away from the seal. I'm sure they do great work on cars and trucks. When I brought the RV in I was a little concerned when they asked me what I think the best way to replace the glass was. Maybe in a little over their head. It took a while and they got it in. They were very nice. This was an insurance claim from the old owner of the RV so I was sent there. I told the company I would be traveling from New Jersey to California and would be there a while which is how I ended up there. Having lived in Southern California for 20+ years I know that it never really rains, especially during the summer months. I'm inserting the e-mail correspondence I had with the insurance company and Sinaloa. I was having side cameras replaced on the RV and I was killing time cleaning. I noticed a gap between the window and the seal. When I'm sitting in the drivers seat it looks like an optical illusion . I thought there's no way that's open and always dismissed it. This time I was right on top of it and sure enough, it's a gap. I did call them as I was asked to do. That was one of the worst calls I've been on. I was being talked down to and asked more then three times if I was sure it wasn't leaking from somewhere else. The ended with me telling her I really don't want to deal with this nonsense. I'm on my way back to New Jersey. Haven't seen rain since June 21st. It rained today in Illinois and water came from the top of the glass that was replaced. Here's my dilemma. I'm not driving back to California and I won't be home for another 2 weeks. I'm attaching a couple of pictures of the dry water marks on the inside of the glass.
