My only small criticism was clean up. There were pieces of rubber frame or whatever was taken off in order to but the new windshield, all over my seats and the floor of the car. I accidentally sat on a rubber piece and it left a black stain on my butt right before going into the store so that wasn't fun. Jesus was communicative professional and knowledgeable. They tell you up front that the repair is about 80 percent like new which means that you won't have a like new windshield after chip repair. It beats having to buy a brand new windshield. Jesus arrived and assessed the damage and quickly set to work. He explained the process and the steps involved and I was able to observe real time the resin filling the cracks. Anytime you are dealing with glass there is always the risk of spreading and more damage given how sensitive compromised glsss can be. Jesus was careful and methodical and performed the chip repair. What's great is that he comes to your location which is very convenient. Two quick tips, you want to park in a shaded area and also immediately after you have chip damage place packing tape over the damaged area to protect it from water. Jesus also recommended not turning on the heater and to have the window slightly open to release pressure while you are waiting for the chip repair. After Jesus worked on the chip repair the windshield is good to go. I will say the 80 percent assessment is accurate. You can still see the impact spot and feint lines stemming from the impact site. However the resin filling strengthens the area and prevents spider webbing which is important. Otherwise you will have to buy a new windshield. Excellent work. Thank you Jesus read more
