Tuesday night, I was heading out to dinner when somehow a tree came out of nowhere and shattered my truck's windshield while I was reversing to park. This was not how I planned to start my evening but nothing I can do when a tree attacks your car. I called around and sent messages on Yelp trying to get it fixed that same night, but no luck. However, I decided to hire JJ Windshield Repair and Replace because they provided a decent quote AND offered an OEM windshield. The other businesses didn't mention if it was OEM and I figured I would have to pay more money to get the window tinted after it's fixed. With JJ Windshields, I didn't have to worry about that. Eddie showed up at my house (9 minutes after the 2 hour appointment time which was the only downside) the very next morning. He took one look at all the broken glass and said, "What a mess!" I smiled and said, "Don't judge me," and we both started laughing. From there, he got straight to work. While driving a large rock, hit the windshield and gave it a quarter size crack. After reaching out, JJ windshields was able to confirm they could fix it. I've had Julio and his crew work on my truck multiple times. The first 2 times they were great but now it's terrible‍ I wrote to him after my windshield got a chip in it. He told wrote back saying he is available Saturday from 11-12. I told him it works for me, gave him my cell number and address then nothing. I ask if the price is still the same and all he does is just read my message and don't respond. But when it came down to the time of the appointment, I called a few times and send out a text or two. After an hour and half of our appointment time he showed up and had his little bag for window repair and was a 5 minute job for $80 and he didn't even fix the crack when over the phone he said he can. He said "that will never be fix and it cannot be fix." Called another guy (glass first aid) who came in an hour after, was more professional and knew his stuff, and pulled out all the bags of tools to do the job, and fixed the crack on my brand new car and took his time.
