Its enough so that I sort of tense up any time before I have to go in. This time I needed blood drawn. I have slight needle anxiety, I always let the phlebotomist know, and its never been a problem. This time the staff acted like I was a serious pain in the ass for notifying them. I was embarrassed and apologizing right and left, but the antagonistic attitude of the staff wound my anxiety up so high I had to leave without getting blood drawn. I figure enough is enough. I will say that, so far, it seems like all you have to do cancel a membership is call and tell them you want to quit. So that's sort of a plus, I guess...

If you want treatment do not go in when she is scheduled to work if you are already feeling bad you'll feel dehumanized after any interaction with her. My only suggestion would be Please hire employees who are the first point of contact with your patients who are empathetic and not callous.

I can barely tell you what the waiting room looks like because both times I waited less than 5 minutes to be triaged! Every single person who helped me today was friendly, helpful, and compassionate. I went for an issue that I had experienced in the past but last time I went to pres now. The experience was night and day. Albuquerque ER saw me quickly and did all of the necessary tests in a timely manner. I felt like they saw me as a human and not just a patient. While I was at Presnow for 9 hours last time I was out of Albuquerque ER in 3 hours with even better attention to care. Now that I know about this place im never going to another urgent care again. I don't have a single bad thing to say about this facility.

I was trying to schedule an appointment with the Lab at the NW CBOC for my wife and it's impossible to get anyone on the line. Rio Rancho Clinic is getting just as bad as the main hospital. Now I'll have to drive to the clinic to schedule a Lab appointment physically.

This clinic is nothing like that place. Our clinics are all covert. We have contracted private clinics that don't advertize their government affiliation. This clinic, however, has Veterans Affairs written all over the front with the VA logo. It's obviously a new building built specifically for VA stuff. Both of those facts alone are amazing. So the waiting rooms in LA are known for being too small for capacity and very unwelcoming. This one appears to be much bigger than it needs to be. This is a small facility and the waiting room seats a couple dozen people. With room to spare. There's also free coffee on a counter. FREE COFFEE! That's unheard of back home. Best of all it's got an unlimited supply (from my perspective, anyway). I had no idea such things existed in VA facilities. I also saw people asking for bottles of water at the desk. So they also have free water at request. Holy cow. The TV WASN'T on Fox News! Like hell hath frozen over or something. Very rarely (I mean VERY rarely) are the TVs in Long Beach on anything other than Fox News or soap operas. Instead, there was a documentary on jellyfish on the National Geographic Channel. It was a refreshing change. I noticed that my friend was called to his appointment ON TIME. He got there 10 minutes early and they didn't make him wait over an hour after. His appointment was just an update, so he didn't take long. He came out saying he has a really great doctor and he's always impressed with him. Another holy cow. It's also worth mentioning that they actually prioritize check-in by appointment time. At home they go by check-in time. First come first serve. It's brutal. They also called patients "Mr." Back West they just call us by last name. I wasn't even a patient and I appreciated the courtesy.

The physical therapists are the best I've ever encountered, and the rest of the staff was compassionate and hard working. There were a few frustrations that could use work. Most of the food was awful and all of the portions were ridiculously small. The coffee was even worse, and no matter what they told me there was NO caffeine in it. They also made no effort to furnish something I needed in a size that fit, opting for something four sizes too big. My room in the short stay wing had a lovely view and I had opportunities to be accompanied outside, which made the experience more tolerable.

Recently he…read morewent up there to get his prescription filled and had a terrible experience with one worker in the pharmacy. The lady who he spoke to originally said his medication would be ready in about ten minutes and to have a seat he said that she seemed to have an attitude and was just not the nicest person to him, he ended up waiting almost an hour. He walked back up to the window and was told by a young lady he said was named Arianna the lady helping him originally stepped out and didn't get it filled yet. He said the young lady who helped him after being forgotten about was a much better help and actually got him his medication and was very apologetic for the other worker's treatment towards my grandpa, he grabbed the young ladies name to thank her and said he really appreciated the help that she gave and the kindness she showed him. Sadly just really poor service from initial help.

You arrive and check in...but you may have to wait a bit to actually get your name/check in done (because the front desk runs a bit late) or the staff may still be with their prior appointments. But otherwise, the quality of their staff, their services and the cleanliness of this facility made me feel pretty content with the services I receive there.
