We had them replace our old panel's with a single 300W panel. The job was done in a few hours, no muss no fuss. And man, we are so happy we did. First of all we lost a LOT of weight on the roof. The new panels do not require a heavy aluminum frame. Second, our overall watt hours have increased considerably. Now, we can comfortably stay out in remote areas without having to idle the truck. Last year, we had KP upgrade our rig to three 300W Battleborn batteries and reposition our inverter. Everything has been working flawlessly since. KP also inspected our existing wiring and confirmed everything was ship shape (after a few of his minor adjustments). ONE OF THE BEST MOBILE RV SERVICE EXPERIENCES I'VE HAD!…read more If you're looking for a mobile RV technician who actually knows how to troubleshoot, problem-solve, and stay with a difficult job until a solution is found, I wholeheartedly recommend Matt's Mobile RV. Matt came to Thousand Trails Harbor View in Colonial Beach, VA, to service my Tiffin Allegro Bay. One of the hydraulic leveling jacks was completely frozen in the fully extended position and had pushed down into the gravel and soil beneath the RV. What initially appeared to be a relatively simple job--relieve the hydraulic pressure, push the jack back up, and replace the springs--turned into a major undertaking. The jack absolutely refused to retract. Ultimately, Matt determined that the entire hydraulic jack had to be removed. The problem was that because it was fully extended, there wasn't enough clearance underneath the RV to get it out. Matt's solution? He literally excavated it. In approximately 94-degree heat, Matt dug around and underneath that jack until he had created a hole nearly two feet deep and approximately three feet wide. That gave him enough clearance to remove the fully extended hydraulic jack assembly from beneath the motorhome. That is where Matt earned my respect. Plenty of people can replace a part when everything goes according to plan. The true measure of a technician is what happens when absolutely nothing goes according to plan. Matt never became impatient, never acted frustrated with the situation, and never looked for an excuse to abandon the job. Every time the repair presented another obstacle, he stopped, evaluated the situation, figured out another approach, and kept going. His problem-solving ability is exceptional. Just as impressive was his customer service. Matt was polite, professional, personable, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire experience. He clearly explained what was happening and why certain steps were necessary. He also took time to answer questions about several other areas of my RV and gave me some genuinely valuable advice about maintaining and caring for my Tiffin. There was never any pressure or attempt to turn every observation into another service charge. It felt like advice coming from someone who genuinely wanted to help another RV owner. That kind of service is increasingly difficult to find. Owning an older Class A motorhome means occasionally encountering problems that don't have simple textbook solutions. For that reason, I don't just want someone who knows how to replace RV parts. I want someone who understands mechanical systems well enough to think through an unusual problem when the obvious solution doesn't work. After watching Matt tackle this hydraulic jack, I have tremendous confidence in his abilities. This service call demonstrated technical knowledge, determination, ingenuity, patience, professionalism, integrity, and an incredible work ethic. Matt came expecting to deal with a leveling jack and ended up practically performing an archaeological excavation underneath my Tiffin in 94-degree Virginia heat! And through all of it, his attitude and customer service remained outstanding. Matt's Mobile RV has absolutely earned my trust and my future business.
