I also tried to wave down two older gentlemen for assistance, but they completely ignored me. I understand it was a holiday, and maybe they were short-staffed or having a long day--but it shouldn't take two employees to answer one woman's question, and I was polite in my approach. Maybe we are not the boating community I thought we were. Further, I can't believe when someone leaves a review for West Marine, and they complain that it is pricey. It's a specialty store, they have what you need and they have it here in your community. Get over the price! Finally, went to the store in Punta Gorda yesterday. It was staffed by two children. I know, makes me sound like an old guy, which I am, but still these two very young people with absolutely zero boating knowledge provided absolutely zero help.
