So friendly and polite, even tried to give me some cheaper options for fixing the screen in case I was looking to save money. With my wedding coming up on Saturday, I just wanted to get it done. They gave me a small break in addition to the coupon, just because they knew how stressed I was and how expensive weddings are. When I mentioned to the guy that I was impressed by their Yelp rating, he said "It helps when you're doing what you love." He even wished me good luck on my wedding as I was leaving! Took my iPhone 4 here on MLK Day. My power/lock button wasn't working and of course I was out of the warranty period. I happened to walk in after two other people dropped their phones off, but I wasn't in a rush and there is a Goodwill a block away. They gave me a loaner phone while I was out shopping. This shop repaired 2 iPod screens and 1 4G iPhone screen that belong to husband and children. We priced the repairs at several shops and Mobile Kangaroo had the best pricing. The repair was perfect and done within 24 hours. We left the devices and picked up the next day. They did have to order the screen for a "white" iTouch but it arrived in just a couple of days. I've been having trouble for about a month with my iPhone 7+ camera not working. I was dreading taking it to apple knowing how long that process would take and the chaos that is usually at the stores. I work up the street and pass by here frequently. I noticed they are authorized apple dealers, so I figured I'll walk in and give this a shot and see if theirs anything that can be done regarding my malfunctioning camera. Edmond assisted me right away and immediately did a diagnostics test and verified indeed the camera wasn't working. He also verified my phone was still under warranty and it wouldn't be a problem to get me a brand new phone. The process was shockingly super easy. He said he'd give me a call in 2-3 days when my phone would arrive and gave me a chance my old one since it was still useable. The next day I get a call from Edmond and he tells me my phone is already in. Perhaps the fastest service I couldn't imagined. He assisted me and made sure my pone was all backed up prior to setting up my new phone and he rebooted my new phone and set it all up for me. I came in to get my iPhone screen fixed, and they easily could have "taken my money", but the tech noticed a slight bend in my phone's frame and explained that the replacement screen would likely break in the future. After discussing multiple options, I ended up getting a cheap screen cover (it obviously didn't repair my cracks, but "buys me some time" and mitigated the most critical issues for just a few bucks). My galaxy nexus phone just broke down without warning one fine day. Since our generation lives by the smartphone, you can imagine my misery. While verizon (who is my carrier) was expectedly unhelpful in replacing the phone (my warranty was over 3 months ago- woo hoo for verizon!), I turned to mobile kangaroo. I have repaired cell phones and laptops earlier with various shops. The choice you got was reliable (but super expensive) or cheap (but shady shops). Mobile kangaroo has been a breeze by comparison. Robert gave me continuous updates on the repair process of my phone and charged a very fair price. They gladly took their yelp coupon which brought down the price some more. In the end my phone hardware issues were too complicated to be fully solved, but they brought it up to a good enough shape that i could use it. Broke an iPad screen and needed a replacement. Used a Yelp deal here and got a good price on a full replacement of the glass. Have had it for 6 months now with no issues. New glass was slightly thicker than the original, so home button is recessed by about 1mm more, but that has not been an issue. Recommended....dropped off my iPad one day, picked it up the next.
