Well equipped with navigation which is super helpful when you are on an unfamiliar lake. They gave us a map and marked some interesting spots. We looked for waterfalls in the area they pointed out and we found 7 or 8. Beautiful lake with great scenery. Compared to any other boats we have rented this was by far the best. It had a 150 HP Honda engine. Most rental boats are way under powered. This was not. Definitely a good experience. I recommend it.

This is a tough place to review. The area deserves a 1 or 2 star rating, because this part of the…read morelake is straight up filthy. Water visibility is measured in inches, and there is debris all over. The flip side of this is the price. It is incredibly cheap to dock a boat here, especially in comparison to marinas in nicer waters. However, the people and service should get a 5 star rating. The family that runs the gas station and store on the marina are extraordinarily kind, and when I first took up wakeboarding, they pointed us to great places to get gear and showed us where the best water was. If you want to dock here, you have make the decision about where to spend your money. You can buy a nicer slot for more cash at a different marina, or you can dock here and spend money on gas driving to a nicer area. It really comes down to that.

The staff was VERY friendly, helpful, and informative from start to finish. The check-in process was so easy, and they did a great job making sure we didn't spend our vacation waiting around. The pontoon boat was clean, comfortable, and the tube worked perfectly for the kids. Everyone had such a great time on the water! This was our second time renting a boat from State Park Marina, and both experiences have been amazing. We truly have no complaints. And there was a grill outside that I used. We ate outside at the table and it was so peaceful and relaxing. I used the paddle board for the first time there and it was so much fun. We swam after that and had a great time. We went to the Mildred B. Cooper Memorial Chapel in Bella Vista. It is a unique outside Chapel. A must see. We drove to Branson, Missouri and ate at the Keeter Center which is part of the College of the Ozarks. The food is phenomenal and reasonable priced. We liked the lunch so much we went back later for dessert!! We also went to a show at Sight and Sound Theater. Lots to do!! I would highly recommend staying here. I have never felt so relaxed. It felt like a dream home.
