We broke down on a Sunday and, to my surprise, saw that Dad's Garage was listed as open 24 hours a day. Skeptical, I called--and to my amazement, Tyson himself answered. He immediately lined us up with a towing company that could haul our truck, ATV, and trailer over two hours away. Even more impressively, Tyson called us back from church to let us know he would meet us at the shop later that day and get us back on the road. And sure enough, around 6:30 PM, he was there waiting when the tow truck arrived. He quickly got our truck into the garage, diagnosed the problem, and had us back on the road in no time. Since our truck couldn't safely tow the utility trailer with our off-road UTV, Tyson offered to store it at his shop free of charge until we could come back for it days later. And the price? More than fair--especially considering he came in on a Sunday, gave up time with his family, and treated us like we mattered. He told us he runs his business to help others, and I truly believe it. They are small but they come with great hot and or cold water if needed with great water pressure. There is a dog wash in the back of the building. They also have a small dog pen for your dogs to run around in off leash. Ichose one of their small cabins. They are full stocked if needed (sheets / blankets and such). Each location has a deck, outside table, and fire pit. Some cabins come with more or less, just depends on what you choose. It would be nice if they had a few more tense spots. In all, Camp Host - does a great job in keeping location very clean and presentable. Job well done !!

Then the BATHROOM WAS CLOSED! That means no shower, no bathroom, and no one to complain to for a refund. Why does KOA allow them to still rent spots without some reference to this being a simple parking spot without any amenities? We would have been much better off to go and stay at a local hotel for the same price. If you are in a van or smaller RV avoid this place! Many of the sites are occupied by full time residences so it is more of a mobile home park rather than a camping spot. People driving in and out at all hours, heading to or coming home from work. Lot's of noise and again, no body around to request another spot, or to open the bath.

From the beginning, this process was horrible. I paid to have the boxes delivered to my house and…read moreordered that to happen. The Richfield UHaul then calls me two days later and says they cannot deliver all of the boxes at once, because they don't have enough trailers. The number of trailers for UHaul boxes is not my problem - I paid for the service because I needed all of the boxes to be at my house for movers. They call again and say they can do it. Then I call to confirm the day before and am informed they cannot provide all of the trailers. Then I call the day of and MIRACULOUSLY they find enough trailers. At this point, I'm completely frazzled because I paid top dollar for this service and it's not going smoothly at all. Then, when we get to Flagstaff, I ask to get my boxes delivered. I am then informed that UHAUL WON'T DELIVER MY BOXES when I paid to have my boxes door-to-door, or at least that's what the website implies. I'm upset and the employee defers me to a manager who isn't at the store at that time and told to "call back tomorrow." I eventually give up on this deception by UHAUL. A few days later I stop by Flagstaff UHAUL to access my boxes and am informed they need a 24 hour notice. Okay, so I give them the notice and state I want to access all of my boxes and pick up at least three boxes the next day. I arrive the next day and ONE of my six boxes is out and available at the agreed upon time. Okay, so I ask for the other five boxes to become available and after about 45 minutes, they are accessible. Then, I review which ones I want to take home and ask that all of them be put on trailers so I can see how many we will be able to take home this day. We move three boxes and as I'm coming back for the fourth, I see the person who trailers UHAUL boxes leaving the store. I then go inside and ask to have my fourth box trailored but am informed there's no one who can do that who's at the business at the time, even though we are 2 hours from closing time and I specifically ask to have everything trailered. So, I ask for all of the remaining boxes to be trailed by the next day at 4 pm. I leave. The next day, I call around 2 pm to confirm my boxes are going to be trailered when I arrive at 4 pm and it is confirmed by the person on the phone. I arrive at 4 pm. No boxes are trailered and the front desk asks if I need empty boxes. This is the fourth day in a row I've been trying to take my UHAUL boxes away from UHAUL to unpack. After another 30 minutes and waiting in line five people deep, I get my boxes trailered and transfer them to my home. I am irate and never plan to use UHAUL again. The website is deceptive about delivery options and the process took more time and energy than hiring an alternative. This was a horrible experience during a very stressful time and move. UHAUL is not worth the money. Buy a trailer, move your stuff, then sell the trailer at the next town. It'll be worth it to never use this service again.
