Jaime immediately located the source of my issues and set me on a stretching and strengthening program that has helped me relieve my pain and get me to the strongest level I've ever felt. One of the many things that I appreciate about Jaime is the way he spends the time to teach you to do your exercises the correct way. I didn't realize that all the years that I had been working out that I was doing most of the excercises wrong. Jaime does a good job of coaching you through the exercise and then correcting you when you are slipping. Once you speak to Jamie you'll realize that he has a lot of really valuable experience in training professional athletes to the 40 year old's who need to get some exercise back in their lives. My physician prescribed physical therapy for a sciatica problem I had for years and had become so…read moreintolerable it was affecting my sleep and quality of life. I found out about Active Edge Physical Therapy from a friend or mine who had great results with that group and so I made an appointment with Chris Woods one of their physical therapists. I have to say this was the best experience and especially the most beneficial treatment I have had for my sciatica. I no longer have the "killer" pain running down my right leg and I have cut back significantly with the pain medication I had been taking. Chris identified my problem right away and began using deep movements, stretching, and strengthening to address the problem. Moreover, the home exercises he prescribed empowered me to improve my problem over a short amount of time and significantly improved my "body awareness." I continue to use these easy at-home exercises on a regular basis; they are life-long lessons that Chris provided specifically for my particular issue. Chris made the sessions both fun and educational too! I have to say too, that the front counter staff at AEPT are wonderful! They provided a complete report of what my insurance would cover BEFORE I started the treatment and were very pleasant to work with. In almost every way, they're basically on opposite sides of the planet. My family isn't comprised of avid golfers, but they're really enjoying having some nine-hole courses around to polish up their game. No use bothering far better players getting in a full 18 at the Reserve, Pumpkin Ridge or out on the coast if you can be out there with folks at your skill level for half the time. It's been mentioned before that McKay is by no means easy, and I'll agree with that. As simple as it is to pay and navigate the course even the Par 3 greens can be a bit of a challenge. At least it looks as green and glorious as Pumpkin Ridge back here, if a bit light on the amenities (go ahead and BYO everything). But for the lack of expense and the well-maintained course and pace of play--and clientele that's actually here to have fun and play golf and not, like some neighboring courses, to air their grievances with the world and show everyone just how backward they can be--McKay Creek is well worth even a novice's time. Kudos for providing a driving range that isn't TopGolf.

I am able to see what mistakes i make and also see the confidence in my shots especially at the net. He puts you in the most uncomfortable positions in the court to play some points. I have been taking privates as well a group classes with him, And i must say that even in group classes he notices your play and appreciates it when you do it right and corrects any shots thats not perfect. Trust me, You cant slack off in his class even if he isn't facing you , i suppose he does have eyes behind his head. I recommend Anthony's class to anyone who wants to play tennis and get better at it. P.S Your excuses will never work with him. Prepare to sweat and hit balls ..a lot of balls.

(Actually, I started taking his lessons after I saw one of my tennis friends, who took his lesson, progressed a lot in a short period of time!) He is not the coach who just give clients a same routine of the drill repeatedly. His classes cover techniques, strategies, and always give us new challenges. The best thing about his classes is that he really coaches us! He always know exactly what to teach, and that helps! At the group lessons, he doesn't take many clients, so he is always available to know each individual's needs, and at the private lessons, he gives me valuable advices that I wouldn't share with anybody. (haha :p ) I also want to mention that he is often funny :D There are a lot of laughs in the classes! Because we play feeling-good tennis with him :D

He is a man with golf knowledge and a lot of integrity. Lessons with Sean have been a very positive experience. He is prompt and very patient in his teaching. Our teenage son decided he would like to try out for the HS golf team at orientation. With no golf experience, Sean took a 14 year old teen and helped him achieve his goal of making the team. I know his success is a direct reflection of the time spent with Sean. His attention to detail and communication are wonderful. He is pretty techy too and sends us video swings of our son so we can see the progress. Overall, a great golf coach and man! We still see Sean as much as possible for lessons to keep our sons form in line.

If you're a novice golfer, prob shouldn't play. I got around easy enough. The fairways were will groomed and true to hit from. Greens were large, not tiny. Course was relatively easy if you course manage. I'd prob play 5-6 strokes better after playing it once but shot a decent 82 (tournament) for never having played it before. All in all I will probably play it again. Isn't on my never play again list, which there are a few.

But after Covid hit, I transitioned to at-home workouts--rowing, walking, and VR exercises. While they kept me active, I wasn't building any real strength. As a Lab mom, I started noticing I was struggling to lift my dog's 32lb bag of food. I had a hard time with it--way more than I should have. That's when it hit me: age was playing a role, and the lack of consistent strength training was catching up to me. I knew I needed to get back into the gym, but I wasn't interested in a big-box gym. I needed personal attention and encouragement from a coach who understood my goals. On top of that, I had been dealing with a nagging shoulder issue that was quickly progressing toward becoming a frozen shoulder. It was clear I needed help, so I scheduled a meeting with Casey--and I'm so glad I did! Casey is hands down the best trainer I've ever worked with. From the very first session, he knew exactly how to work around my shoulder issue without compromising my ability to lift heavy again. Tee times are so overbooked you'll spend more time waiting than playing. The marshals are downright disrespectful, talking down to players, refusing to listen, and lying about their rules as they selectively accuse players unjustly. Tried to clarify and reason with them and got attitude instead of answers. Management clearly backs the power trip instead of fixing the problem. Shame, because it could be a great course if they cared half as much about players as they do about packing the schedule and being rude to those that paid to play.
