Want to channel your inner kid? Or if you have actual children in your possession, this is a great place to go. Staff was friendly, helpful, playful and kind. We came here with three "adults" ( at least our ages on our drivers licenses might lead you to believe we are adults) They opened at 10:00 and we didnt have to wait long. We got to pick our golf club color, got the short orientation, and in we went. The nine holes were the right level of difficulty ( for those of us who don't own plaid pants) Each hole has a funny story, great artwork by Mike ( who we met and liked) and an insect hunt as a bonus. Would I go again? Absolutely!

My 7 year daughter led pal and I had a great time at this quintessential st. John attraction. We arrived at 9 o'clock on a Sunday morning and enjoyed our beverages and the ambience in the café until the mini golf course opened at 10 AM. We were the second party to arrive for the mini golf and therefore it was calm and wonderful. The service is great and it's a lot of fun. The breakfast items are a a bit limited and you can get better and cheaper coffee elsewhere in St. John, however, it's good to support this institution. I loved every minute there are also books and games and a free library for dogs of tennis balls

A great, inexpensive option for some indoor fun playing miniature-golf, especially during the rainy months or if it's too hot outside. The entire place is decorated with the fun and fantastical art of local artist, Mike Bennett. The mini-golf course has an enchanted forest theme. And while the mini-golf is designed to be family friendly, the holes were still a challenge for us adults, so folks of all ages should enjoy this. The mini-golf course is in a separate building and they have a cafe next door. The cafe is decorated like a great dining hall of a castle, which is such a delight. And both the mini-golf course and cafe have a little gift shop where you can purchase various merch of Mike Bennett's art. If there's a wait to play golf, and there probably will be, they take your phone number and they'll text you when it's your turn to play so you're free to walk the neighborhood or grab a beverage and/or bite to eat at their cafe next door. We didn't eat there so I can't speak to the quality of the food. The 2 negatives, in my opinion, are they only have 1 single-stall bathroom for both the mini-golf & cafe and it's located at the back of the cafe (there was always a line for the bathroom & not convenient if your little one has to use the bathroom while playing mini-golf), and they do not disinfect the golf clubs and golf balls, so you may want to bring hand sanitizer (at least they don't disinfect them in between uses, it's possible they maybe disinfect them at the end of the day, but there's a lot of grimy hands using them all day).

Found this place googling miniature golf. Saw the reviews and decided to go! Thank god we did! There's a breakfast shop themed with the mini golf which was so cute!!! Breakfast was bomb and fast! In between the miniature golf and breakfast shop was a super cute dog play area and a food truck. There were toys for the dogs and lots of seating. Miniature golf was cute! Great customer service! They had an activity to find certain bugs at each hole and if you do you get a prize...super cute. It was a delicious and fun breakfast!!! Will be back!

I've been a fan of Mike Bennett's art all over town and in local forums for a while, so I knew this would be a hit.

I rarely see people golfing, and I've walked this trail a dozen times, I saw golfers twice. The Fanno Creek Regional trail at Garden Home is incredibly cute, scenic and relaxing. I always see bunnies! However, the PORTLAND GOLF CLUB HAS TAKEN AWAY FROM THE BEAUTY! Please see the photos of the signs showing the big ugly dark tarps they put on the fence! They're literally blocking the sun from our view! Parts of the trail are dark and tunnel like even on sunny days, because of their ridiculous tarp. Are us walkers that much of an eye sore? It's families, seniors, kids, people walking their pups! There are are no tents, no homeless people, no drug activity, no trash on the trail. But as if that was not enough, "they want to destroy the wetland, eliminate wildlife habitat, create an eyesore, alter storm water flow and potentially contaminate Fanno Creek." Please read the link below and stand with the people against their plans. Unfortunately, the government tends to side with big businesses over the people, wildlife and vegetation, so far the golf course is winning, let's hope the good, well meaning people win this fight. https://savewetland.org/home Please help out here:https://savewetland.org/get-involved-1

There's a fantastically maintained golf course, commanding views of the Willamette, and the kind of clubhouse you'd expect from a top-end joint founded in 1896. The grounds are carefully manicured, the entrance is grand, the wallpaper alone probably costs more than my whole house, and it reeks of old money. I'm not a member here. Who knows if they'd have me, and I doubt I could afford it. But attending a wedding here, I have to say that I wouldn't mind being one. Aside from the pool, the river access, the terraces and grill overlooking the river, and the fancy indoor areas, it seems like it would be a nice place to recreate, score big business deals, or, in the case of my visit, host a grand wedding. And while in my Portland existence I've never been a fan of dress codes (and I'm not exactly sure what the code is here) I can say that if I paid whatever it costs to be a member here, I'd appreciate the fact that the members and guests were expected to class things up when hanging around the joint. But really what I want, someday, is to play a round here. And now that I have a friend who married in to this community, I look forward to finessing my way in to one. The fairways are impeccable, the sand traps treacherous, and the greens are as they would be in heaven. And I can't discount the fact that the views of the Willamette and the mansions on the opposite side would be a nice escape from the average, overly-casual Portland environment. No, I'm not of the ilk that likes to put on airs or showboat money, but damn if that isn't a nice ass golf course. And that I can appreciate. Oh, and I should mention the food. As far as a catered wedding goes, the food here was well above average. And on top of the great dinner, they brought out sliders, grilled cheese and french fries at 11pm after most of the guests were well sauced. This has to be one of the most brilliant wedding catering ideas ever. Bravo.
