I'm an 85 yr. old woman who because of a fall and x-ray showing injury to my right shoulder needed physical therapy. Physical therapist Jing was excellent at relieving my pain and giving me more arm and shoulder movement. He also gave me printed instructions for exercises at home. After just 4 visits, my progress is very good, and I can thank Jing and also Matt for bringing me back to a good quality of life. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. If you fall ill over the weekend and call to cancel a Monday appointment they become irritated and demand to speak to the patient (who is in bed with a bad flu). The person began hanging up on me once I told them to stop demanding to speak to my mother. After many calls due to continuing conduct he claimed this was harassment. Asking him numerous times to disclose the name of his owner he kept saying he was the manager and kept hanging up and refusing to provide the name of his superior. Additionally, they do "GROUP PHYSICAL THERAPY" or sessions with numerous people for different injuries and reasons for being there for efficiency and profitability purposes. WORST PHYSICAL THERAPY place ever! And to top things off they will charge you if you cancel. Hilarious!!!!! We will file a complaint. One of the best Physical Therapy establishments I have been to, and I have been to plenty. Suffering from a broken back, I've seen all the therapy workouts and exercises, so it can be mundane. But with Mobility PT and Darren, he provides you with innovative and more relatable exercises that fit your body type. Remember it's not a sprint it's a marathon. So the recovery process won't happen overnight, but the work out schedules and plans they provide are very detailed and easy to apply by yourself at home. Darren and his staff really care about your recovery even outside of when your sessions with them end. That's true therapy in a sense. I highly recommend! read more

It's worth sticking it out if your in pain to be able to get seen here. Trust me! The staff is very kind and very hands on. I had to swap offices to some other facility due to them being booked out (I don't blame them! They're awesome) and boy was that a mistake on my end. These guys here are personal, friendly, and just truly a breath of fresh air when it comes to a medical office. 10/10 recommend them. So I've come twice now and each time I've left I felt like a new man, a million bucks, and feeling like the Pat's are miracle workers! This center is awesome! I had a torn meniscus in my knee, and was on crutches and limping when I entered. The therapists here were all kind and fun to work with. Even though some were still students, they are committed to doing a good job. The front desk guy, John, was particularly cheerful and super organized -- his light-hearted demeanor brought a JOY to the whole office. And we all know scheduling patients isn't easy. :) On Fridays the whole office would listen to Disney music --- which I loved! I am now walking without crutches and have healed tremendously. I'm the man that does crazy body intensive things and I've had my fair share of injuries. I've been to multiple physical therapist and a lot of them were not good. I started with mobility PT for the past few months and in the first month and second month, I was not noticing too much change in my shoulder. They then started me with Janell in my PT routine. I've been getting my PT done with her for the last month and I can say with certainty she knows what she's doing. I'm very shocked she's a student because her knowledge of rehabilitation and preventative pt care is impeccable. I had my doctor check up and even he was astonished with the amount of progress I've made in one month. I believe Janell will be the physical therapist that would dominate the industry with her knowledge and professionalism. I do also want to give John the Manager a shout out. Everyone here is kind & helpful. The staff helped me tremendously after my foot surgery. Great therapy & exercises, super clean office setting. John in the front office went above & beyond getting a hold of my orthopedic doctor & found out I could take off my boot & get into a shoe finally. I've been going to this, physical therapy and I do not recommend it to anyone they play games as far as your insurance goes and all of a sudden after 4-5 sessions they discharge you and they just give you lame excuses that you're not doing your home exercises which is not true I've been doing my exercises is just I do not do itis when I am in a lot of pain but like I said, I was very unhappy. They're not very professional and they don't give you straight answer and for this reason, I will not recommend it to anyone. read more

I immediately called Darren and he took me early into the office and worked on me right away. Dr. Darren and his team at Mobility Physical Therapy are truly wonderful! I came to their therapy center after a severe motorcycle accident with a surgically repaired hip and broken leg and in need of some serious rehab. Darren got me in right away while other places in the area told me to wait 2-3 weeks for a consultation. I've been going in twice a week for 8 months now and I have seen great results. Started off in a wheel chair, barely able to stand, muscles incredibly tight, bones still healing, lots of scar tissue and plantar fasciitis in my foot. Luckily months later I've been able to bounce back and have begun walking without my cane even. I'm probably around 80% now, still need help regaining flexibility in my ankle and hip. Darren's attitude, knowledge and care for his patients really sets himself apart from many of the "medical professionals" I've had to deal with this past year. I was lucky to have found his office! Let's just say before Mobility Physical Therapy, I wasn't able to walk without a cane. I recently got a hip replacement surgery for my left hip, which created some scar tissue tightness, triggering numbness of the left side of my leg. Basically, I had to learn how to walk again as if I was an adolescent. I remember the first time receiving therapy, Dr. Darren's staff were amazing; they were attentive, friendly and caring. I've been to other physical therapy offices and they don't spend enough time hands-on with the patient. At Mobility, you get a full 30 minutes of actual hands-on followed by biking, and ice and tens. I had a car accident in June, 2018 that caused me pain in the neck and stretched out to my lower back, and during the treatment I was sent to Chiropractic , two different Orthopedic Doctors , I underwent MRI imaging and tried three different places for physical therapy, I also tried Acupuncture, all of which did not work and the pain remained In the neck and lower back, it turns my life into hell, and finally I tried Mobility Physical Therapy, and the difference was vast in the way of treatment, as Dr. Darren and Matt worked with their hands all the time to find out where the pain is and treat it. The pain gradually faded, and after several sessions I became comfortable, for the first time in more than two years, during which I lived in pain. If I had started treatment from the beginning at Mobility Physical Therapy, I would have saved myself time, money and pain. Loved coming here, the staff and owner, Darren are all so easy to communicate with. This is so important when you're dealing with pain. I had many different therapists during my time here, and every one of them was really excellent. I'd give them 5 stars if there wasn't such a high turn around. The therapists are great, but once they graduate, they leave. Now you're starting up with someone new after you have found a great rhythm with one. So of course, I understand that can happen, but towards the end, I would ask how much longer they'd be there so that I could mentally prepare myself. And if I'm being honest, I learned so many different, helpful techniques from all of my therapists, I loved going here. Mobility Physical Therapy has been my preferred therapy center for over three years. They are the only therapists I've found that provide up to 30 minutes of hands-on manipulation/treatment with every visit. (Others simply have put me on exercise machines with no supervision.) To maximize the success of treatments, therapists provide detailed print-outs of customized exercises, stretches, etc. to use at home. I am especially pleased to find their office is very professional in its management. I never have to wait for my appointment, a major inconvenience at many medical offices. If you are looking for actual results and people that truly care about your wellbeing, look no further. I wish I could give Mobility PT more than 5 stars. Dr. Darren and his staff are very friendly, professional, and always go above and beyond. You can see that they really care about their patients and take the time needed to address the issues. They are always on time as well. I have been to several physical therapists before, but Mobility P.T. is the only one that has provided results and pain relief! Mobility was able to take me right away unlike other places that had weeks of wait time. Dr. Darren formulated a very specific routine for my back problems (scoliosis w/ rotation, many tight and imbalanced muscles, bulging discs, etc). He provided me with pictures and written instructions for each exercise. Many of these were stretches no other physical therapist had ever given me in the past. The staff also gives me an ultrasound as well as stem and ice at each treatment. One factor that I believe has made a huge difference is that Dr. Darren performs soft tissue mobilization on my back with hands as well as tools. He even went outside to help me adjust my car seat to alleviate back pain while driving. As for the results (I've been going twice a week for about 3.5 months): I used to get fairly severe low back pain when standing for over 45 minutes, and I can now stand for about 4 hours without pain. Another type of low back pain that I was experiencing 24/7 with no relief is now gone. Unbelievable. After a few months, I got a new authorization from my doctor and my second evaluation at Mobility shows marked improvement in mobility/flexibility. I highly recommend Mobility PT. I have been going to the facility in Irvine for about 2 months now. Coming in after my 3rd knee surgery and having used a handful of other therapist I have to say these guys are awesome. Dr. Terry is knowledgable yet personable. His hands on approach along with the electrotherapy, ultrasound and exercises have me thinking I'll come out of this surgery better then the last. He's not about just reading off of a sheet. While the place is small you get plenty of one on one attention. I couldn't be more pleased and I'm looking forward to getting back on my feet...
