Mobogo Cuisine has great service--the staff was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was smooth from start to finish. The food came out fresh and well-prepared, and you can tell they put real care into what they do. That said, the flavors and style just weren't quite my cup of tea. Nothing wrong with the quality at all, it just didn't hit my personal taste the way I hoped. Still, I respect the effort and creativity behind the menu, and I'd say it's definitely worth trying for yourself. Atmosphere (3/5): The place isn't fancy, but it has everything you need -- clean tables, comfortable seating, and a casual setup. Simple and straightforward, but don't expect much ambiance or presentation. Service (4/5): The staff was polite and friendly, but it took a while before anyone came to take our order, especially since we were the only customers there at the time. Once things got going, service was fine. Food (3.5/5): The flavors were okay but not quite authentic for our taste. The bánh mì wasn't seasoned properly and was missing the right sauce balance that gives it that traditional tang and depth. There also seemed to be a bit too much MSG or sodium -- we ended up feeling a bit nauseous after the meal. Price (0.5/5): This is where it really fell short. Prices felt steep for what you get, especially seeing an extra $0.70 charge just to add boba to a $6.99 milk tea. Also a bowl of Pho as you can see went up from 10.99 to 13.99 and the bowls are very small sizes. Found this Asian Fusion Restaurant on our way home during a short road trip. Honestly, I would have given the restaurant four stars if it were not for their service and lack of availability of a menu item. It was a Wednesday, early afternoon (1:30) and we were the fourth customers in the restaurant. It took a long time fir staff to give us the menu and take our order. We had to go to the counter to ask for the menu and service. With that being said, our food was served within 10-15 minutes. The other reason for the three stars instead of four is that the shaved highly ice advertise was not available and this not communicated on the menu. Eggrolls were nothing extraordinary. The Rare Beef Pho was super tender and noodles perfectly cooked in my opinion. Broth tasty with good depth in flavor. Stopped for a late lunch day after July 4th, ordered 3 items- Udon noodles with chicken, Pad Thai chicken and Vermicelli with char broiled beef. Quick rundown- the Udon noodles dish, I wasnt crazy bout the chicken included (kinda rubbery in texture). Pad Thai was "ok" (but truth be told my by pad thai bar is high, having had some great versions at other places. The vermiclli with charred beef? A winner. Even though a few of my dishes were "meh" in my estimation, the menu is expansive and sometime's it's a matter of getting the "right" dish for your tatste. Again, props to an Asian fusion eatery thats featuring fresh ingredients with a variety of choices aside from the cliche-ish "General Tso's" and "Hunan Chicken" of the world. We do not have a lot of options in this town, most of the cuisine is the same. I am so happy that we finally got something different and new flavors. I LOVE Mobogo. The rare beef and brisket soup is one of my favorite things to order, I crave it. The broth is so amazing, it has revived me from one of my worst hangovers ever so it can do pretty much anything. It has enough for 2+ servings, my mom and I usually split it the first night and there is always more for lunch the next day. The charbroiled beef has so much flavor, you can get it with rice or noodles, and it's amazing. There is also something special about those pickled cucumbers but I haven't figured it out yet. We had low expectation of this place because of the mixed reviews but the food and service were surprisingly good. We went on a Wed night around 7pm. Food came out within 5min and plenty of people were available in the kitchen. We got the combo pho, charbroiled beef rice plate, and japchae with beef. The combo pho was pretty good. Flavor was just right and they said the broth was fresh made from bone broth. No additional sauce needed. The rice plate was ok. The beef was a bit rough. Same with the japchae. We stopped here after visiting family because of the good reviews. I have no idea how this place has 4.5 stars. We ordered the egg rolls and honey walnut shrimp. The egg rolls arrived burnt and somehow also soggy in the middle. The honey walnut shrimp was pre-frozen reheated fried shrimp with a pile of mayonnaise dumped on top, and the walnuts were mushy. Never ever again, especially for the price. EDIT: The waitress said she couldn't take the shrimp off the bill even though I only had one bite because her boss refuses to allow it no matter what. She was very apologetic and offered to give me a side of steamed rice at least, no change. The staff is very sweet but the boss seems like a nightmare. read more

Excellent pho both times I've visited. The broth is very flavorful and the noodles are cooked perfectly. I wish they had a veggie option and were out of the chicken pho on the last visit. The bean sprouts were kinda wilty and there was no fresh basil which is one of my favorite things to add to pho. I also had their banh mi and it's not bad. It's a little heavy on the hoisin on the bbq pork and they do a sriracha mayo on the baguette. The bubble tea is good, and they also have shaved ice, but we didn't get any. The biggest downside to this place was the service. Our waitress was in a rush, wasn't friendly at all, and didn't come back to check on us. There was also not really any kid friendly menu items. They also had menu items that weren't on the menu and I didn't realize til we were leaving or I probably would have ordered my kids the katsu because they didn't like the banh mi. Luckily I was able to share my pho and our waitress did bring me a second bowl. When we finished up I had to ask someone else for a to-go container and had no idea if I needed to go to the front after to pay or if they brought the bill. Had our waitress come back, I probably would have ordered the shaved ice for my kiddos bc they were begging to try it. The prices are very reasonable as well. For a bowl of rare beef pho, a banh mi, and a bubble tea, it was $19. I hope this place continues to do well, because it's pretty awesome that Hermitage has a Vietnamese restaurant. Got takeout from Mobogo for lunch. I was pretty impressed! My dish was delicious and fresh. The building itself is pretty small, so it's definitely a sleeper spot. I am home visiting family and heard a Vietnamese restaurant opened. I was excited as Hermitage a very plain food scene. This restaurant is in the plaza space that formerly held Padrones/Little Italy (across from Brusters). Inside is a small seating area to the left with stools at the granite counter top. Reminiscent of hole in the wall food vendors in Vietnam. Not much seating at the moment, room for 5-7 patrons to eat in. They are working to open a dining room which is connected. The menu is not quite your typical pho. Several rice dishes with beef/chicken/pork/shrimp and beef/chicken soups. They also have spring rolls which are good and the pork rolls were really good. As a veteran pho diner, I was excited for the beef pho. I am very critical of the dish having dined at several establishments. The pho was very good and the broth was well constructed. Although this pho did not feature lime wedges (lemon wedge was) and no beef tendons were in the bowl. Despite that I highly enjoyed the food. The rice dishes my party ordered were good but the rice was lacking something. Shrimp were cooked perfectly. The seasoning reminded me more of Thai than traditional Vietnamese. Drinks were also good. Passion fruit shake was good as was the bubble tea. I highly recommend this restaurant as it represents a much needed element in the area's food scene. The most authentic Pho i have ever had around here. The staff especially the owner (i think she is the owner) is especially friendly. We live in ohio but at least once every 2 weeks we travel to hermitage PA just to eat at mobogo. our son is 4 and not crazy about asian food, so they allow us to bring him in a hot dog from the shop next door whenever we eat there, which i think is so kind and understanding. They also play with him and talk to him, which makes me as a parent very happy and comfortable. We like to get the #8, however everything we have tried on the menu is fantastic. The restaurant is extremely clean, i could eat off the floor in it. I wish i could give it 10 stars. We are for sure life time customers of Mobogo. read more

DON'T believe the hype. We travel all up and down the mid Atlantic area and eat pho at least once a week. The service was horrible. We were one of two tables and had to wait way too long after seating ourselves just to order. Ordered rare beef pho and the spring rolls as appetizers. The pho was slightly better than cup o noodles. The appetizer, we were told, would be out "then" after our pho had arrived. Portions are tiny, the beef is chewy. Service non-existent. Save yourself some money and but Campbell's beef noodle soup. Believe the hype, this place is delicious! I had the sweet potato noodle with beef and at the waitress's suggestion added broccoli. It was SO GOOD I was full and had to stop myself from finishing the generous serving. Try the hot sauce, it's a chili / lemongrass mixture that her mom makes. It rivals anything I ate living in south east Asia. Wish I lived close, I would spend my paycheck here. The egg rolls were also super tasty and well worth $1 each. Did I mention the staff?
