I got a cookies n cream with true milk soft serve and a mango sluccino w/ brown sugar bobas- both were delicious. The soft serve was soo creamy and delicious and the mango slushy was refreshing. Really cute shop with a good array of mochi donuts, matcha and coffee drinks, and creme donuts. The owner was super kind and gave us a creme donut on the house since it was a soft opening. For the matcha soft serve, I found that it was not as strong as Maiko (another well-known matcha ice cream chain) but also not as bitter. The softserve resembles a custard like ice cream, rather than a more icy taste. Great for those who may not like the intense bitter taste of matcha, but may not serve for those who love the intense flavor of matcha. That being said, the Flotcha (matcha float) was a really great when it came to intensity of matcha and serving size. They were also really kind and got me the coffee float because there was a mistake in the order. I would recommend doing the matcha soft serve with the matcha as the coffee was great, but when you have the option to go with matcha- why wouldn't you? As for the creme donut, I found the filling to be super similar to the frosting that asian bakeries use in their white cakes. It's not overly sweet, and it's not overly heavy like straight whipped creme. I think I would like a donut with less filling, and a little but more dough action. I found that it was tough to eat a whole creme donut with no other flavor. Mochi donut had the right amount of chew and bread like texture, so it hits my qualifications of "delicious", especially for only $3.75. You'll find, if you've tried other mochi donut places, that sometimes they can run too heavy with the dough (indicating that they've only used rice flour and not a blend of AP flour and rice flour), so it's always a delight to find a bakery that has mastered the best of both worlds: bready and doughy Overall, I do realize that Mocha positions their custards as "True Milk" flavor, so it makes sense that their custard is very heavy with dairy. Not sure if my appreciation for flavor went down after ordering too many items (it was still worth it), but it does run on the heavier side of dairy, so take care my lactose intolerant buddies. Such a cute delicious dessert spot. If you like matcha, then you will love their matcha soft serve. It has a nice strong matcha flavor and the texture is amazing! They also keep it interesting by having new weekly flavors. It makes you want to come back to try them all out. So far my favorites have been taro, black sesame, melon, and brown sugar. The soft serve is so good that I don't really branch out and try other things. The times that I have though, I've gotten the affogato and the mochi donuts, both were great. Staff is also super nice there. They have given my friends and me free mochi donuts when it was close to closing. Another time I lost my Fitbit and they were kind enough to let me come in right after they were closed and cleaning up to check to see if I lost it there. read more

I've never tried mochi donuts so this place has been on my list for a while. I was not disappointed ! I got the milk tea mochi donut and it was delicious. Very sweet, and the texture was soft and fluffy. The matcha latte was also very good but it was a bit too sweet for me. I'll probably ask for half sugar next time. I plan on stopping by here again - they have a ton of things I would love to try. Namely the affogato! I have never tried it because it normally comes with espresso, but I don't drink coffee. This place has an option to make it with matcha instead! I'm excited to try it next time. There's also some sparkling fruity drinks that are apparently flavored like chupa chups. The inside was spotlessly clean and sleek, and the service was fast. I will update this review as I get to try more things but so far so good :) read more

Y'all's photos of their soft serve is what brought me into this cute little shop in the H mart lot. While sampling our fares (matcha swirl soft serve, strawberry mochi donut, a chocolate cream donut), the owners brought out a very generous (as in, same size as the soft serve that we bought) sample of their brown sugar boba over the milk soft serve to try. I should note that I do not like boba, but... this homemade boba was incredible. They apparently hand-rolled the boba for the samples, as their machine wasn't in yet. And the brown sugar syrup was so warm and not-too-sweet: the perfect compliment to their soft serve!! Definitely makes me want to continue to support this place. The mochi donut had a good texture to it, and the cream donut was a standout. Their soft serve is very rich and creamy, but not too sweet. A group of us came in about 10 minutes to their closing time and they couldn't have been more accommodating and welcoming! The two ladies at the front were really patient with us as we had never been there! We ordered 3 affogado matcha drinks and one taro ice cream and it's 10/10! They are so flavorful and smooth! Not too sweet which was perfect! The mochinut and the donuts are SO GOOD! We've never had anything close to these! Definitely recommend this place and we will be back! We stopped in after doing a 5k race this morning and ate some mochi donuts. In all we had the mango, chocolate, and the brown sugar milk tea donuts and all were yummy. Loved the chew to the donuts!
