The service is fast and impeccable, the food is delicious and filling, and we highly recommend this establishment at Dry Creek and University ... near the ARC. The choices of causes number around 8, and the smoked collard greens are extra tasty when slightly spiked with a bit of the Carolina BBQ sauce. Bon Apeti, y 'all.

That's what you expect when you're paying barbecue prices. Sadly, none of that showed up here. The brisket and burnt ends were the biggest disappointment. Instead of having that dark bark and beautiful smoke ring you expect from meat that's been smoked low and slow, everything looked gray and lifeless. There was no smoke flavor, no seasoning, and worst of all, the meat was dry. Not slightly dry, but the kind where you need sauce just to get it down. Burnt ends are usually the highlight of a barbecue meal, crispy outside with juicy, tender meat inside. These were just dry chunks with no caramelization or flavor payoff. The sausage didn't help things either. Overall, nothing about the meal felt homemade or smoked. It felt mass produced and rushed, missing the flavor and texture that make barbecue special in the first place. What made the experience even worse is the price. Spending around $40 on a pound of meat, expecting quality barbecue, and getting dry, bland food instead. For that price, you expect memorable barbecue, not something you regret ordering halfway through the meal. The food was so disappointing that I ended up throwing most of it away and going somewhere else afterward just to get a decent meal. That's something I almost never do, especially after paying premium prices.

We saw the sign for the brewery in the back of the lobby, went in an it seemed closed but there was a big set of stairs heading down. We went downstairs and found a bar that leads out to the patio, completely open and so cute overlooking a nice fountain and great green views. The bar had a food menu too, and two pool tables although they were in rough shape. The bartenders were attentive and nice, giving their recommendations. We had the wagyu burger and truffle fries and the chips trio. The burger and fries were so good, but the chips were very oily and many were soft and not crunchy. I tried one of their cocktails, the first one with the strawberry puree and lemon, and they let me swap the vodka for tequila. It was sweet and yummy. A great little spot to take a date in between plans for sure

Outside patio has decent shade by the little pond thing and lounge chairs to sit in. Our pup was also allowed to hangout there as well. Staff was short that day and the manager let us know, which was no problem. We ordered 3 dishes: fish tacos, pulled pork sandwich and a poke bowl. After waiting 45-50 minutes, which again I know due to short staffing, we were utterly disappointed in what we received. The tacos looked like they were microwaved along with the beans. I didn't get a pic of the pulled pork but was probably like a quarter cup total of some meat and sauce on a McD looking bun. The poke bowl was majority rice. For a bill that ended up coming out to about $80 (had also 2 diet cokes and a beer), this was quite a slap in the face. You're better off going elsewhere for your money.
