Mango Tea is always a winner. I added Lychee Crystal boba & regular boba plus it comes with Mango Jelly so it was full of flavor. They have these cute claw machines to play as well as board games at this location. Actually gives off a coffee shop vibe with the soft jazz music mixed with a mini arcade. It also smelled like incense which gave it a super calming feeling to add to the mix. The service was spectacular as always. read more

The teens who work here are a little slow when it comes to understanding the sugar amount. I tried to explain to this young girl to lower the amount to 30% and she said she can't because it's a flavoring and I said ok then lower the flavoring and she said she can only do 70%. Doesn't make sense. Why can't you just put less of the flavoring in the tea? I love the herbal taste and the drink is now too sweet because I didn't wanna argue with her. It's a franchise boba place so the drinks will taste very similar to other Kung Fu Tea places. So let's talk about customer service. The workers are always nice and pleasant. Very polite and shows good customer service. I will say there has been a few times where they ran out of Yakult so that's was a bummer. Sucks when you order ahead on the app and get there to be told they ran out. But they are understanding when asking for a refund and make it an easy process. Ambiance: Very casual. There is nothing special to mention except that plenty of seating is available. Service: It was almost non-existent. They didn't even notice we were waiting and we were the only customers. They were behind the counter talking. The drinks were quickly made though. Food/Drink: We ordered Winter Melon Tea and Thai tea as they don't have Ginger Milk. Both were mediocre. I have had much better Thai tea at other Kung Fu Tea locations. We were craving boba after shopping and found this location by chance. We got our favorites Thai tea with boba and winter melon with grass jelly. The boba here has a sweeter taste, but the Thai tea was a bit too strong on the black tea. It is also lacking in the Thai tea flavor with condensed milk and evaporated milk. My winter melon tea was great. The grass jelly was fresh. Service was quick and we got our drinks fairly fast. There's plenty of seating as well if you come with a big group of friends. Very cute, industrial vibe, but fun LED lights above. read more

I came here late night on a Thursday it wasn't busy at all so I got my drinks fairly quick! I really think they should take the coconut milk tea off the menu, it tasted very similar to hand soap. I myself got a passion fruit tea with boba which was very pleasant. Boba was nice and chewy not too soft. I will have to say the ordering system is weird considering there was no name or number assigned to our order. It was a bit confusing when the drinks are being called out, softly I might add. I only ever get one drink here, so I can't speak to any other kinds of drinks, but I'm never disappointed. I order the Yogurt Green Tea, which is yakult with green tea, and it tastes consistent every time. The workers here are pretty good about getting out orders even when busy. There's plenty of space to sit and for the most part it's pretty clean. You can also use the app to order to go which I like for convenience. read more

This store front is too cute and the woman working cashier (I assume partial owner) is lovely. I was super excited to find this Boba spot right next to my work. I ordered a basic coconut milk tea with boba. It turned out perfect. I'd recommend this spot for dates, study hang outs, and just a chill spot. Right next to multiple food options. Love kung fu tea normally but skip this location! We ordered 4 boba teas which took about 30 mins to come out! The place was not that busy. Other guests were pretty upset (some waited even longer) that their drinks were taking so long. The honey green tea was good but I also had a slush with 50% sugar that tasted terribly sweet. The boba pearls were good texture. Price ~$5-$6 for large sizes. Hope they make some improvements or hire more staff. read more

They need to improve their staff! I ordered three milk teas, and the employees asked if I wanted a large or medium. I opted for large, but it's only filled halfway. When I inquired about the short fill, they added more water, which ruined the taste. It's obvious not to dilute it with water. When I questioned the employee about the water addition, she claimed it was because they would have to prepare more. Why ask customers for their size preference and charge them if they receive the same amount as the smaller size? Also, one of them rolled her eyes at me. I won't be coming back to this location. I so enjoyed going to this place! The staff is always very courteous, friendly smile, and services great as drinks come out quickly and made well! I wish they would've kept some of the relaxing chairs that they had instead of just the wood option as it doesn't tend to be good for those of us that are a little older and back support. We tend to go here if not weekly biweekly. They now have small game machines the kind with the claw that picks up toys or stuffed small toys. Still getting used to this part of their establishment. I do highly recommend them. They're in a nice clean shopping center and there's plenty of parking very efficient and clean. read more

I can't drink lactose, my options are limited, however, kung fu Tea offers quite some options, my favorite, the oreo tea with "milk", lol. Turns out, out of all the baristas at this location, only one of them knows how to do it the right way, her name? Candice. I've been several times and whenever she's not here, I already know my drink is going to suck, it's gotten to the point that my wife and I just look through the window and if she's not here, we don't even bother, lol. I mean, everyone else is good but she's way above good, I don't know what kind of magic she has but whenever she's behind the counter we know our teas will be EXTRA delicious. Came here earlier today to try the black tea wow milk cap that's part of the brown sugar wow series special for a limited time I heard about from a friend of mine. At first after they made it looked like regular black tea w/ milk cap or foam where the tapioca pearls couldn't be seen but when I drank it the taste reminded me a bit of earl grey even though it's not earl grey in it but when I drank half the magic of the milk cap came and made the tea a bit lighter and the tapioca pearls visible. Also I tried to get gift cards as part of a Christmas gift for some of my friends and they said they don't have any and later I saw on the receipt that you can order gift cards electronically if possible. I wanted to take off my pants, but I didn't, because then it would've been Hung Fu Tea. What to get: Lemon Black Tea, Hot Milk Teas. Off Menu drinks: Very Berry Black Tea, Winter Melon Black Tea. Other good stuff: Honey Oolong Milk Tea. I didn't smell any cow poop while in here. Otherwise it'd be Dung Fu Tea. And I stopped pretending to be a turtle when ordering here. Otherwise it'd be Kowabunga Fu Tea. It's very Cypressing to not be able to have KFT regularly, but sadly that is the case, as this KFT is far superior to the one right by my house in Montrose, and the one next to where I go for dinner most nights, in Chinatown. The service here is lovely, as are the products. They don't have the awful credit card minimums and the habit of overcharging and messing up orders. They're better owners and better servers. I didn't need major surgery while in here. If I had, it might've been Collapsed Lung Fu Tea. And I don't perform music in the bathroom anymore. Otherwise it'd be "Sung Fu Tea." In fact, this is one of the greatest locations of KFT I've been to, where they have some of the most lovely service and excellent products as well. The guy working here was a credit to the franchise. Kung Fu tea needs and deserves more guys like him. I was asking what kind of beans they had one time. The girl was like "what is this, Mung Fu Tea?" And I asked them both "what is the past tense of I Bring Kung Fu Tea?" They incorrectly responded "Brung Fu Tea." My go-to drink as always is a lemon black tea - which is absolutely delicious with the tapioca. You can't really get much better than this drink if you like lemon drinks. If you don't, then try the honey milk tea or the honey oolong tea with tapioca - pretty good. I'm also very partial to the winter melon tea with tapioca but only when they're willing to make it with black tea. The Very Berry black is also excellent. I asked one of the many server girls that I love, here, on a date. But then I found out how old she is, or isn't, I should say. So we had to cancel. So it's "Young Fu Tea." And And I keep seeing girls (and boys) in miniskirts in this location. Now I know why they call it "Sprung Fu Tea." read more

Really expensive for what you get. i had the red bean slushy and wasn't to thrilled with it. I was taste testing red bean drinks from area boba places and wanted the smoothie, but the slushy was all they had. It was pretty mediocre in flavor. I don't think they are on their best game. So it looks like Cypress is pretty light on boba joints. We had dinner in the area and KF was nearby; we haven't been to one in a LONG time since more boba spots have been popping up in the last few years. KF at one time was the best boba spot, it definitely isn't anymore. I tried the taro milk tea and Oreo slush here. Both drinks were very sweet. I'm no way a tea aficionado nor a yuppie, so I don't feel like I belong in these trendy, overrated places. Couldn't decide if I wanted to leave a review but noticed others have commented about lack of service so I decided to. Although their drinks are pretty good, the owner or manager (assuming it's her) is kind of rude. I came in one day because my husband wanted something with lychee. I looked at the menu and since he likes slushes I noticed they didn't have it on the menu but in another section as a drink. I asked the employee if they can make a slushie with lychee and he didn't know (he doesn't seem to know much about the menu or what they offer every time I go but he's been there for a while!) so he asked the lady and this was her answer: "No...it's not on the menu, so we don't have it." in front of me with a rude tone. All she had to say was unfortunately no or we are not able to. Obviously I don't see it on the menu but sometimes places can whip up something so thought I'd ask anyway. People are in business because of customers like me and my friends, sometimes we have Kung Fu Tea 3-5 times in a month. Makes you not want to go back.... read more

I've been here several times, and while the tea is average - the service always seems to be lacking. Came here today and we tried to order a tea without milk, with whatever their wow milk is on the menu. The girl said she wasn't sure if it could be done and kept offering us another drink. We went back and forth for a while, and while we got no explanation on why their wow milk couldn't be added to other tea - we did learn they use milk powders in their drinks, no thanks. They never have crystal boba either, and the employees mess up drinks frequently. Once got a milk tea with no milk, and it took them about 10 minutes to fix it bc they forgot about the drink. Do yourself a a favor, go to a place that uses real milk or alternative milk options in their tea (not powder) - that's what we did (ex: retro cafe, ice valley, etc) read more

Used to love coming here but i'm having second thoughts these days. I was here with my friend and I ordered a regular milk tea with boba while she got a taro milk tea. The store was super crowded and the employees messed up our drinks twice, but they fixed it for us for free. The drink itself was actually really good. Now the reason I don't think i will come back is that I overheard the employees complain about their store manager keeping all the credit card tips. Not only is that illegal, it's keeping a lot of money from these young high schoolers. After I heard that, i got up and left $50 cash in their tip jar, which I hope those employees will split among themselves. I was once in high school working hard to pay for gas and to save for college, so I understand the struggles these kids go through. The tea here is actually pretty good, but I wouldn't want to give any more money to this terrible store management. Ordered some of the slushes. Not very impressed. Honestly they were kinda bland. The mocha had no chocolate taste just milk. The slush "dries" up pretty quick like you have to wait for it melt to continue drinking. I like the option for lactaid milk. Overall just not a fan. read more

Today was my first time at Kung Fu Tea and my 2 daughters love this place so I figured I would try it. I Must say I was not impressed due to the service that was given by one particular cashier. I asked her if the melon green tea was good and she looked at me with a blank face stating I don't know I've never tried the teas with milk before and then I explained to her I was asking about the classic melon green tea and she then shrugs and stated well I don't know I've never tried it. So I continue to order this tea and then received it and was pretty disgusting so I went up to the counter and asked if I could switch it out and she again looked at me with a blank face and stated no! I work in customer service and I would have at least tried to do something to make the customer feel a little better especially being the first time and first impression of your facility.she simply did not care at all not once did she smile or was friendly. I actually felt very awkward and uncomfortable because of her. I hope in the future this place can hire more friendly staff members. I will not be back again. read more
