Friendly service and love that this location is close to home. Staff is amazing! Ended up getting a dozen total of the following flavors. Passion fruit Cookies and cream Original Sea salt churro Strawberry cheese cake Drinks: Thai tea Milk tea Cherry berry Peach mango All mochinuts flavor were delish. Nice crispy exterior and chewy interior. The flavors we on point and hit the spot. The drinks for peach mango and cherry were too sweet for me. Thai iced tea was decent and the milk tea was decent as well. Only issue that I had was there was no pricing menu. I'll definitely be coming back for more mochinuts though!

Original, blueberry cheesecake, strawberry funnel cake.

Such a fun and tasty treat spot! The mochi donuts are soft, chewy, and just the right amount of sweet. Each one has a slight crisp on the outside with that perfect mochi bounce on the inside. The shop itself is super cute and colorful, with a friendly staff and a great vibe whether you're grabbing a quick treat or meeting up with friends. It's the kind of place that instantly lifts your mood.

I've only tried it once so far but I had a good experience. They have a kiosk you can use to order. They helped me figure out the different pastries etc that they sell. I ended up ordering a half dozen mochinuts. They have good flavor and doesn't taste as "doughy" like I think donuts tastes.

YUM!!! yum yum! if you love donuts, but do not like how sweet and heavy they are then this is where you need to go! I am beyond Excited that we have them here in Denton! So anyway I had never tried this type of donut before, and it was incredible ..! There really is not a way for me to describe it, but it was somewhat light in texture, but so so satisfying not over sweet but just enough to make you want to eat an entire box! What really impressed me other then them being so delish is we stopped by Mochinut and did not realize that they had closed 10 minutes before we arrived ... but to our surprise Angela welcomed us as if we were the first customers of the day. Her service was great and she went above and beyond to make our experience special. Given it was our first visit we had questions and she was so helpful and kind. We did not one time get the feeling that she was in a hurry for us to leave, as a matter of fact, she told us we were welcome to eat in and did not have to take to go! She allowed us to sample some of the favorite flavors and we even tried a milk tea !! I loved the raspberry cheesecake and the funnel cake but Everything we had was delicious! This will be a regular stop for me (even if my waistline won't be too happy about it). If you haven't been here yet, you're missing out! The donuts are amazing, and the staff is just as wonderful. Giant thanks to Angela for making us feel so welcome!

Craving a hot dog is an off and on passion of mine. So today I wake up and decide…read more to indulge that passion and get a hot dog at Dix Coney Island. I walk to Dix Coney Island. Upon entering, a lovely lady greets me immediately and gives me my choice of seating. Either a booth or a retro stool at the counter. Not desiring to sit alone at the counter, I choose a cozy booth. Each booth has its on lighting fixture emitting low glow tones that create an intimate feeling. I receive the menu and cast my eyes over the menu which offers the gamut of breakfast all day or varieties of burgers, Reuben's, and classics like pastrami or a Philly - definitely a New York vibe. Finally, my eyes focus on the hot dogs of which there are four options. I choose the Coney Dog, After waiting a few anxious minutes, I receive the luxurious Coney Dog. Thick hot dog nestled in meatless chili, mustard and and diced white onions, surrounded by crinkly fries. With no hesitation I lunged into a heavenly bite. As I finished lapping it up , I discovered on the table the Happy Hour Menu. Note to self, please try. Starting at 3:00 pm and going until 11:00pm you can have pitchers of mimosas or beers with a smattering of bar food choices. I'm thinking of the Jalapeño Poppers. For the sweet tooth, there is a sweet co-mingling of either English - Sticky Toffee Pudding or Mexican -Churros. The beautiful floor to ceiling windows give a clear view of the goings on at the Denton Square. If you are marrooned in Denton, I'd get myself over to Dix Coney Island and stay awhile.

My partner in food wanted to try the King Kong against my better judgment. Looking at the photos, it didn't appear conceivable - to make matters worse, he wanted it to go! It came deconstructed. Four HUMONGOUS beef patties and probably a whole pound of bacon and beautifully melted cheddar. The bun was questionable, mostly because it was nowhere near enough bread for all that meat, but I get it, in a challenge situation, I wouldn't want to load up on bread. The patties were well seasoned and firm. I would have preferred medium, but since I was sharing, well done was fine. Not over done and still juicy. It also came with a container full of steak fries! I admittedly put a hurting in the fries, dipping them in the house ranch mixed with the jalapeño ranch. I wanted the fries to be crispier and the ranch to be thicker, but they were delicious nonetheless!! So how much of it did we finish?? I finished one patty with out bread!! My partner finished one and a half patties with sandwich bread. The bun got designated to my leftover patty. Tomorrow's lunch will be a single patty burger with half a pound of bacon!

After graduating, I moved back to Dallas and reconnected with some high school friends who all attended UNT and from them, I had always heard them rave about Fry Street but never experienced it until Halloween and it was pretty chill. We started off the night at Cool Beans Bar & Grill. Within this particular bar, I loved that the staff and everyone were dressed up in costumes for Halloween, which added to the festive atmosphere. The bar offers both indoor and outdoor seating, giving it a relaxed and versatile vibe. My friends ordered food and drinks, which were really affordable. The food itself seemed like no-frills, classic bar bites-exactly what you need for a fun college night out. Especially to start the night off or something to get to sober up. The drinks were solid, and we enjoyed hanging out before making our way down the strip. Fry Street is definitely different from what I'm used to, but I think it's such a cool, close-knit spot. Even though it's small from what I'm used to, Fry Street and its bars, including Cool Beans, will help you get to where you want to be for a fun night out. This bar definitely suits well within the Denton culture and it's a pretty decent bar, perfect for college students.

My favorites are the Rooster Tails (fried onions) and the chips and queso, but the real stars of the menu are the burgers. They're always fresh, hot, and juicy. The free peanuts are a nice touch, and they offer daily specials as well. I really miss the Bloody Mary bar, which was always a lot of fun, but their Sunday special makes up for it with a generous double for just $7. There's always a game on TV, which is a welcome break when you've had enough politics to last a lifetime. The servers and bartenders are consistently friendly, welcoming, and helpful. There's a full bar on both floors as well. The staff was pretty attentive, but the wait for food took a long time. I was happy the cocktails came pretty quickly and were well-made. The food was all pretty good for the most part not wowed but good! I have no complaints about my plate; it came with a great portion of food and was reasonably priced for BBQ. I ordered pulled pork and a side of corn and tomato salad and coleslaw. The sides were different from what I've had before, but I did enjoy them. Their coleslaw is more vinegar than mayo-forward. The pulled pork was well-seasoned, and the side of BBQ was the perfect match. My margarita tasted as if they made the mix in-house, and I prefer this. Store-bought mixers are usually either too sweet or too sour. However, if it is store-bought, I'm impressed! This was not a sweet margarita. My partner went for the Tennessee Texas Hot Sandwich; I did try it. There was hardly any heat despite it being their spicy chicken sandwich. I'm not sure if they make their chips in house but it seemed so.
