I got the corn dog with mozzarella cheese and it was perfectly fried. I thought it was a little underseasoned compared to others I have tried. They offer an array of dipping sauces, but the one I was missing was a sweet chili sauce like a Mae Ploy. Clean shop, quick service, and very clear menu boards. Ive been to this location and others before, loving the product..but the last two visits were not good. One vist I grabbed 6 mochinut donuts and they tasted stale and awful. Almost like the batter jad changed. I bought them to share with others cause I raved about them, but we threw them out...was disappointed. Grabbed the corn dogs a week later and while not as bad as the donuts, they tasted off amd also overcooked. Something has changed from our previous visits and im so bummed! read more

Went to this location yesterday as a last minutes since is was on July 4 and we were so happy we did. The store it self was very nice and clean The service was nice and the people that work there were nice too. I love to indulge in these treats every now and then, so to save a drive to OC, it's great! The girl on the phone was very rude. When I came inside the location, I was not greeted. The girl who took my order was very rude and had no friendly customer service. She gave me no guidance. Definitely expect a long wait for their grand opening (12.22 - 12.24.2022). It'll be at least an hour if you get to the end of the line at the far end of Starbucks next door. Be patient as the staff is working hard to get orders out as fast as they can. Mochinut is no stranger to me. I frequent the Mira Mesa location a lot. It's kinda funny that this Murrieta location opened before Temecula...probably has to do with city permits or something like that. Let's all just rejoice because now the IE doesn't have to drive an hour for mochi donuts!! YASSSSS!!! lol I do like that they have the drinks, donuts and the various Korean style hot dogs including Whole Mozzarella and others like the Original and the Half and Half. Mira Mesa has yet to serve those dogs!! In comparison to the Mecca location, Murrieta did not seem to have as many flavors out. They rotate their flavors, but what you see in the display window is like half of what the Mecca serves. In any case, the goods are legit, everyone loved the drinks that come in those cute soda cans, and the dogs are made fresh! If you follow them on IG, they were giving out a free item with a purchase during their grand opening. David, the owner, was very friendly and kept his cool as he was taking orders at the register. Today, we got the funnel cake, chocolate m&ms and fruity pebbles. They all tasted fine. For me, it's the texture of these donuts. It's addictive to eat and sooooo good. There's nothing wrong with this location. When I went it was slightly busy. Took 30m to get my order. For me, that's just too long. However that's not why I gave it 3 stars. THIS mochinut gets 4 stars but 3 stars overall with the company mochinut itself. I get a mochinut about twice a year and it's bc of the gouging price. 3 small donuts for 10$. Why I even subjected myself to pay for these donuts made of gold is crazy. There are other donut shops making these kinds of donuts for much cheaper. I really only go to mochinut for the corn dogs. At this location, their corn dogs are huge! It was very good. Also it was about 5$. That's fairly priced. I can live with that. For me, I can pay any amount for food, but it has to make sense. These types of donuts just don't warrant 3 for 9.99 or 12 for 33.99. Maybe it was just 32 or 33 bucks. I forget. I am a fan of the old school cake donuts. Checked this place out finally and it did not disappoint! If you haven't tried a Mochinut yet you definitely need to. It's similar to Krispy Kreme, that's light, fluffy with a bit of a chewy middle texture and they aren't that sweet either!. A bit pricier than your average donut but then again there isn't anything average here. I gave this place 4 stars instead of 5 stars because whenever we have come, they had limited flavors. I'm not sure if they even carry all the flavors that show on the website either. One evening I also tried the potato mozzarella stick which was "ok". I think the oil it was fried in was old from frying various things all day and they didn't switch out new oil or something. They make fresh donuts in the morning and afternoon so definitely go early otherwise you'll be stuck with whatever's left towards the evening. Overall we will be back because from our experience so far the service has been great and food isn't bad and my husband is officially addicted! Lol read more

I have been dying to get my hands on some Korean fried corn dogs for a while. I was so excited when I heard they were opening a location over in murrieta. There was a small line at the door which is understandable they just opened! The customer service was excellent. We were standing in line, ordered and left with food within an hour. To me, that's great. We ordered 4 Korean fried corndogs, one hot Cheetos original, one hot Cheetos mozzarella, crispy ramen, and potato mozzarella. Delicious. I am not a mayo fan but the spicy mayo was so good. The crispy ramen was the only one we weren't really a fan of but of course we still ate it. We ordered two boba drinks, one peach lemonade & one Thai tea. Delicious. For the Mochi donuts we got two Simpson, two cookies and cream and two strawberry funnel cakes. Once again, delicious. Overhyped and overrated!! I am extremely underwhelmed and disappointed!! I was very excited to see that a Mochinut had opened up in town... that excitement was met w disappointment. First, let's talk about the food. Mochi Donuts - Very bland. Texture of "mochi" just wasn't there. Not sure why the texture did not feel "mochi-y"... and to top it off, $10 for 3 donuts?!?! They're expensive AF!! Your best bet would be to order your mochi donuts from "Made w Love by Wella" over in French Valley (now her mochi donuts are super delicious, fresh, flavorful, and way cheaper). Korean Corn Dog Original - We ordered a half dog and half cheese. The crunch was good, but it was not worth $5.75 for one!! Also the sugar REALLY fks it up. Didn't taste good at all. Boba drinks are what earned this place even 2 stars. The black sugar boba was pretty good. The ube was mehhh it was ok, nothing to "wow" about. However, what's super cool about the drinks is that they put it in a clear plastic w an aluminum cap that you can pop open... I think this is what fascinates people. We spent over $35 for 3 donuts, 1 corn dog, and 3 drinks... kinda over priced for the quality and amount. Service - Upon walking in, no greeting. Nothing!! The kids working here seem like they need more training or what not... bc their energy was extremely downing. No smiles, no greetings, lack of energy. They all look miserable!! The Shop - Place is extremely filthy!! The glass windows and door were dirty (staff could have wiped down). Inside of the store was a mess. The floors were not swept, it had crumbs and stuff all over it. Tables and counters were dirty. They have a lot of workers just standing around not doing anything when they could be tidying up the place so it's not a mess I would rather drive all the way to The King's Hawaiian Bakery in Torrance (then we can food-hop too) and pick up various treats in LA, than spend $34 on a dozen mochi donuts that are subpar. read more

I was so happy to find that this location served Korean hot dogs since another Mochinut I visited did not have that option. We tried the half and half as well as the mozzarella potato flavors. They were freshly made and a great comfort food for this fall weather! Crunchy on the outside and soft & doughy in the middle! I was also pleased with the size of them as well, very filling! We also bought some mochinut donuts to go. With so many flavor options, it was hard to choose. They are, however, a bit on the pricier side, but each one well made with aesthetic perfection I would say they put alot of effort in the quality of their items, even down to their cute packaging which makes it very appealing for all ages.
