Across the street from Home Depot, and they're next to a drive-thru Starbucks in the same lot as the AAA (Auto Club). I am ecstatic there is a Mochinut in this area! I love to indulge in these treats every now and then, so to save a drive to OC, it's great! Their mozzarella corn dogs with the sugar is always a go-to and their variety of Mochi donuts are different every time I've been here so far. Their service is kind and friendly. The gentleman even treated me to try their new Mochi ball custard-filled donut hole. It may have helped that I tipped $5 on a $60 to-go order. Definitely expect a long wait for their grand opening (12.22 - 12.24.2022). It'll be at least an hour if you get to the end of the line at the far end of Starbucks next door. Be patient as the staff is working hard to get orders out as fast as they can. Mochinut is no stranger to me. I frequent the Mira Mesa location a lot. It's kinda funny that this Murrieta location opened before Temecula...probably has to do with city permits or something like that. Let's all just rejoice because now the IE doesn't have to drive an hour for mochi donuts!! YASSSSS!!! lol I do like that they have the drinks, donuts and the various Korean style hot dogs including Whole Mozzarella and others like the Original and the Half and Half. Mira Mesa has yet to serve those dogs!! In comparison to the Mecca location, Murrieta did not seem to have as many flavors out. They rotate their flavors, but what you see in the display window is like half of what the Mecca serves. In any case, the goods are legit, everyone loved the drinks that come in those cute soda cans, and the dogs are made fresh! My review is kinda quirky bc I love the corn dogs here and even the donut is good, depending on which flavor. They have different flavors each day. Typically 6 different kinds or 3. Today, we got the funnel cake, chocolate m&ms and fruity pebbles. They all tasted fine. For me, it's the texture of these donuts. It's addictive to eat and sooooo good. There's nothing wrong with this location. When I went it was slightly busy. Took 30m to get my order. For me, that's just too long. However that's not why I gave it 3 stars. THIS mochinut gets 4 stars but 3 stars overall with the company mochinut itself. I get a mochinut about twice a year and it's bc of the gouging price. 3 small donuts for 10$. Why I even subjected myself to pay for these donuts made of gold is crazy. There are other donut shops making these kinds of donuts for much cheaper. I really only go to mochinut for the corn dogs. At this location, their corn dogs are huge! It was very good. Also it was about 5$. That's fairly priced. I can live with that. For me, I can pay any amount for food, but it has to make sense. These types of donuts just don't warrant 3 for 9.99 or 12 for 33.99. Maybe it was just 32 or 33 bucks. I forget. I am a fan of the old school cake donuts. Checked this place out finally and it did not disappoint! If you haven't tried a Mochinut yet you definitely need to. It's similar to Krispy Kreme, that's light, fluffy with a bit of a chewy middle texture and they aren't that sweet either!. A bit pricier than your average donut but then again there isn't anything average here. I gave this place 4 stars instead of 5 stars because whenever we have come, they had limited flavors. I'm not sure if they even carry all the flavors that show on the website either. One evening I also tried the potato mozzarella stick which was "ok". I think the oil it was fried in was old from frying various things all day and they didn't switch out new oil or something. They make fresh donuts in the morning and afternoon so definitely go early otherwise you'll be stuck with whatever's left towards the evening. Overall we will be back because from our experience so far the service has been great and food isn't bad and my husband is officially addicted! Lol read more

Korean Corn Dog Original - We ordered a half dog and half cheese. The crunch was good, but it was not worth $5.75 for one!! Also the sugar REALLY fks it up. Didn't taste good at all. Boba drinks are what earned this place even 2 stars. The black sugar boba was pretty good. The ube was mehhh it was ok, nothing to "wow" about. However, what's super cool about the drinks is that they put it in a clear plastic w an aluminum cap that you can pop open... I think this is what fascinates people. We spent over $35 for 3 donuts, 1 corn dog, and 3 drinks... kinda over priced for the quality and amount. Service - Upon walking in, no greeting. Nothing!! The kids working here seem like they need more training or what not... bc their energy was extremely downing. No smiles, no greetings, lack of energy. They all look miserable!! The Shop - Place is extremely filthy!! The glass windows and door were dirty (staff could have wiped down). Inside of the store was a mess. The floors were not swept, it had crumbs and stuff all over it. Tables and counters were dirty.
