They drove it, blah blah blah, and looked at it and said they couldn't find anything wrong with it and because they diagnostic it they charge me $850 and there was nothing wrong with it. I still believe to this day that there was the corrosion on the battery is what made it act up. I've owned this truck since it was new. It only has 85,000 miles on it and I've never had an issue. I would never recommend huddle $850 and there was nothing wrong with my truck and it's driving strong now once I cleaned myself, the battery terminals.

Thousands of $ of work done with no Authorization or communication…read moreDrove my diesel van to Huddle Automotive in Oct. 2021. I said the check engine light was on and in the past I was told it was the glow plugs. I was given a tour of the shop and told they had extensive experience and were a full in house shop. In the next week I got a call that the head needed to be pulled to complete the work. No other issues. I Authorized $2800 for the needed work (a valve job with glow plugs). Each month I called and asked for updates. I was told they were working on it. In late Jan-2022 (4 months later) I was called and told they were having fuel issues with my van and I was expected to pay for the injectors to be sent out to be tested. I objected. In the End I was billed for almost $5000 that include replacing all the fuel injectors due to contamination! Never saw any old parts. Never got any communication or request for additional funds. DO NOT do business with this shop unless you have unlimited $ and do not want any information.

I was on a Hot Rod tour on our way to Canada - Deuce Days on Vancouver island…read moreI had a leaking collector gasket- I called 15 minutes after closing. My group would hit the road at 8:30 next morning. The GREAT Goofy's asked if I wanted to come in at 6 or 7 am. They usually open at 8 am. I picked 6 am and I drove up at 6am and the doors were opening. I am moved by the level of consideration and kindness. Plus they did an absolutely top notch job - replacing both collector gaskets in less than an hour for a very reasonable price. Unbelievable- the best work and the BEST people.

Not a good experience!! I talked to Brian to check my shocks & agreed to 4 best quality shocks on…read moremy van which took over 2 days. I went to check on progress & was told 1 stud & lug nut was stripped on a front wheel. I was then advised to have them replace ALL studs & lug nuts on all 4 wheels. My cost went from $1,000 for the shocks to $2,225 for replacement of all wheel bearings & fuel system service. I put my brother on the phone while at Goofy's to discuss this as he's had 30 yrs as owner of a tire shop & has replaced studs & lug nuts & knew the time it took. He was dubious about their price of labor & need to replace all of them. He then suggested I bring my van to him & he'd get it repaired as needed. I cancelled the rest of my planned service & paid for the 4 shocks which my brother later told me he thought were overpriced too. I will encourage my friends to compare prices before agreeing to have work done at Goofy's. This was sad as I'd had quality service at reasonable prices with Jeff, a prior owner, who'd suggested I check in later on my shocks as one was leaking. Barby .
