Sunday late afternoon my daughter calls to say our Honda Accord is not moving. I went over and called MoCo. Dost was done for the day but kind enough to come out and pickup the car and tow it it a local repair shop in under 20 minutes. Dealing with stressful situation of needing a tow was made easier when with the help of MoCo Tow. This towing company sounded great both on the phone and from previous reviews. However, when I called them for a tow the truck got stuck in the grass of our front lawn and proceeded to make big track marks in the grass. Not a big deal and miscalculations happen. What concerned me more was when I asked if there was any possible way to fix this damage the company's response was, "I'll check with the cameras on my truck to see if the driver was negligent". I wonder if they damage a car in the towing process they have the same adversarial response. Not a good customer service attitude. They are also no less expensive that most towing companies in the Bethesda area. That's why I give them a huge thumbs down. read more

Lucky the operator was honest, responsive and respectful. He knew I didn't know anything about my car and instead of taking advantage he gave me a quick piece of advice and was on his way. When I really need a tow in the future, the call goes to MoCo Tow because of the trust this interaction created. read more

I called and asked about pricing. The cost (whether jump start or battery) was reasonable. Mr. Ayala said he'd pick up the battery on the way just in case - having gotten the information I had on hand for my make and model, and my equipment preference if it came to that. He also said that I wouldn't be charged for the battery if it wasn't needed - regardless of him making this outlay. As promised, he showed up about 45 minutes after our call - this is with him driving up to Baltimore. When he arrived, Mr. Ayala looked at the battery, said it was 2 years old, no corrosion - relatively young for the equipment. That it probably would be just a jump start (I had left the car sitting for too long). He then promptly walked me through the steps to jump it, while attaching the cords to the outlets. The car started. Then he had me turn it off without the cords attached to check that it still started, which it did. The service was $85. Perfectly reasonable. Convenient and timely, as well, and I found him to be pleasant and knowledgeable.

I don't think you could find a better towing company than MoCo Tow. When I asked for a quote they responded in minutes and offered the best price of the 3 companies I contacted. Dost, the owner, arrived on time and got my car hooked up quickly. I rode with him to my mechanic's shop; the truck's cab was clean, and Dost expertly navigated an alternate route when I-270 was blocked due to an accident.
