Now let's talk about one of the biggest perks: the pool is truly open 24 hours. Not "almost" 24 hours, actually 24 hours! I definitely took advantage of that and found myself enjoying the heated pool at 1:00 a.m. It was such a relaxing experience and something you don't find at many hotels. What really made this stay stand out, though, was the customer service. Every single employee I encountered was kind, welcoming, and eager to help. From check-in to check-out, the staff went above and beyond to make sure I had a great stay. The only potential downside is that there are no elevators. It wasn't an issue for me, but if you're traveling with a lot of luggage or have mobility concerns, it's something to keep in mind. I wasn't able to try the complimentary breakfast, which is offered from 7:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m., so I can't speak on the food. But based on the rest of my experience, I would absolutely stay here again. If you're looking for a relaxing getaway with beautiful views, a heated pool you can enjoy anytime, and outstanding customer service, this place is definitely worth a visit.

For context: every two years, I donate my time to mentor a small group of aspiring photographers who fly in to work with me for about a week. It's a non-profit initiative that continues the legacy of my own mentor when I was a teenager. For the upcoming workshop, we planned to start with two days around the Salton Sea, and this hotel looked like a wonderful fit. After some research, we contacted the hotel and asked if they could match an offer we had received for this hotel from the German travel portal HRS for five double rooms (two beds per room) for $1,848 all-inclusive for two nights, including breakfast. It was slightly above our budget, but we were willing to make it work. The sales manager replied: "I think I can work with you on the rate. I just want to make sure a single king-size bed in each room is ok and if 6 rooms will be enough for your group." We confirmed that arrangement, adjusted our group so most participants would share beds for the two nights, and accepted the sixth room offered to accommodate everyone. We then: - confirmed the booking - received and returned the credit card authorization form - drove to the hotel to inspect the property in person - cancelled the alternatives we had on hold Two days later, we received another message from the hotel explaining that the rate had been misunderstood internally -- it had been read as $1,848 per night rather than for the two-night stay. Unfortunately, despite a long email exchange, the hotel ultimately declined to honor the arrangement and suggested we look elsewhere. The result: we had to restart the search on short notice, and I will now make another 500-mile round trip to inspect the replacement hotel. That was disappointing, especially because the property itself looked lovely and we were genuinely excited about staying there. Mistakes can happen in any business. What matters is how they are handled. In this case, the solution was to ask the customer to absorb the consequences. If you plan to stay here, I would recommend confirming rates and all conditions very carefully, particularly since they upcharge a resort rate - and when scouting it, it felt like a very nice small boutique hotel to me, far away from a resort (which was fine to me, as we were looking for a place to sleep and leave after breakfast ;-)

Also note that this location is basically a Marriott timeshare so be wary of offers to attend any informational sessions. Check in was definitely annoying so be prepared to wait a long time in line. First time, we got a two bedroom villa - which is basically a one bedroom villa with an additional King room. The second time we went with a one bedroom villa. One was close to the pool and the other was very far. The far one was right on top of the golf greens so you would hear people very early in the morning. Both were the buildings that were further out because we didn't want to hear a lot of commotion all day. The rooms are spacious and have a balcony so you can still get sun if you aren't in the mood to trek to the pool or outdoor spaces. Having a kitchen and washer dryer is worth the extra money for sure. One room had a pretty uncomfortable bed and the other had a decent one, so basically it's up to chance which kind you get. One thing I didn't anticipate was that there is no room housekeeping included during the stay so we had to lug our trash out to the dumpster (annoying when on the second floor) and wash our towels ourselves. Not a huge deal, just not expected. Fyi...Parking is $30/day which is pretty annoying if you aren't leaving the resort, but at least you have in and out privileges. Overall a nice spot and for the right price we'd come back.

Jasmine Court villas is a smaller compound and quieter with less patrons than the main villas but is further away from the JW Marriott hotel, although there's a shuttle service throughout the day to the hotel. I really enjoyed the amenities here - fitness center, pickleball courts, main pool and an activity center that includes a pool table and ping pong. I took advantage of the pickleball offered and played two mornings which were uncrowded, no reservation needed and I was able to get complimentary paddles and balls. My villa was a one bedroom which included a full kitchen, laundry machines and everything I needed for a comfortable and quiet weekend getaway. I'll definitely request staying at this location in the future.

The hotel has a gorgeous pool and jacuzzi and even a little putting green and a lounge area by the pool. It's done with a lot of love and the owners are obviously very attentive to the property as it's beautifully kept. There seems to be ample parking and it all circles around the hotel rooms, so if you're lucky, you can find a parking spot right by your room. I didn't have a problem finding parking for my room even on a Friday night; reception told me there is "overfill parking" if the regular spots are full, but I'm not sure where that is. Make sure to ask in case the parking lot is full. Parking is free! Rooms are spacious with microwave, fridge, coffee/tea maker, large closets and a full bathroom. Bathrooms are immaculate with a bathtub and shower head. Some rooms have a pool view and/or mountain view. There are also suites with a kitchen. Good Wi-Fi service, Many of the rooms are pet friendly, which is a plus. There's lots of shopping and restaurants nearby within walking distance.

My experience is from the perspective of a person with disabilities who travels with mobility aides. In reality I never book true "ada" rooms because of the harsh reality hotels never have enough availability to accommodate those of us who require them or rooms being out of order forcing us to smaller rooms . I book rooms that makeup in space and comfortability to avoid that risk. We were booked in a spacious one bedroom queen suite with a separate bedroom. Located on the second floor please not this is a small mom and pop hotel. There is no bell service and no elevators to assist with getting to the top floor. We did struggle getting our luggage up the stairs but managed. Walking into our room Exceeded my expectations. Our room included not one but two decent sized bathrooms complete with their own shower/bath combo that provided railing which helped aided those of us with disabilities. The handrails in the shower were placed in a comfortable position for me to get in and out. The the kitchen was lovely. A working stove oven combination , counter space and a full size refrigerator freezer combination are a nice amenity. The microwave was extremely high and at 4'10 i needed to stand on the chair to reach. The couch was so comfortable I accidentally fell asleep on it at night and slept comfortably until morning while my mom slept in the bedroom with the queen bed comfortably. A feature not necessarily highlighted was the spacious balcony overlooking the pool area. It was nice and relaxing to sit out on and read a book. The hotel does have a rule of noise level after 10pm which was no issue. A selling point for me was despite the noise rule the pool area is 24hours. The pool was sparkly clean and warm. The hot tub was a decent size and a great temperature. The courtyard not only featured a pool and spa? It came equipped with ample variety of seating, cabana seating and picnic area. A quaint little putting green centered off to the side near the picnic area feateard grills as well. Parking for the hotel wasn't the best when it came to ada parking and large enough spaces for those who travels with large SUV'S. The gentleman reccomended parking on the street which we did and had no issues at night. The hotels location was very close to our activities at acrisure arena, the living desert zoo and places such as the grand Hyatt,Shopping centers and plenty of food spaces. The place is in desperate need of a full gut remodel. It was difficult to eat the wonderful food that was provided without gagging. Nav sends you to another business behind it with a vast parking lot. Street parking is non-existent. I ended up using a 20-minute zone. I have no idea where everyone else parked, but I have to assume it was this huge, tilted parking lot at the business behind. Accessing this, 'meeting hall' from that parking lot is harrowing and definitely NOT ADA or disability-friendly. You couldn't PAY ME to return to this place.

WorldMark Palm Springs - Plaza Resort and Spa. Nov, 2025. My husband and I stayed in a one-bedroom…read moreunit at this resort for 5 nights in late November, including Thanksgiving. We booked our stay through RCI, a timeshare exchange company. The resort was classified as "silver crown", one level below the "gold crown." Unit. It appears that WorldMark made this resort by converting and updating a former motel. Our one-bedroom unit was spacious and comfortable, and appears to formerly have been two hotel rooms. One side featured a mini-kitchen, dining table, and living area with sleeper sofa, chairs, table, and tv. The other side had a huge bedroom area, with a comfy mattress and quality linens; the bathroom; and a desk. We had a 3rd floor room (resort had an elevator) with an amazing view of the greenery of Tahquitz Creek Golf Course. We also appreciated that there was an ironing board and iron, as we needed to touch up our clothes for a family event. Some disappointments were the small size of the mini-kitchen, which had a microwave and toaster oven in lieu of a full-sized oven and a refrigerator that was classified as a 3/4 refrigerator with freezer. Also, the unit did not have a washer and dryer although these were available elsewhere in the resort. (We didn't want the inconvenience so we waited to do our laundry at our next stop). The unit also did not have a jacuzzi tub in the room. Resort Activities. We understand that the resort had two salt water pools and outdoor hot tubs (we didn't use) but did not have any of the wellness and relaxation services that I traditionally associate with a spa -- such as massage therapies, facials, scrubs, manicures, steam rooms, etc. -- in spite of the word "Spa" in their name. They did have two fun activities that we participated in. The first was a social activity on Tuesday afternoon wherein root beer floats or hot chocolate were provided. On Wednesday afternoon, there was a wine and chocolates social activity, where we enjoyed talking with the friendly resort servers and other guests. Staff. This was a very friendly resort, with most staff that we encountered greeting us and asking how our day was going. A special shout-out to Victoria, at the front desk, who went out of her way to find us a great room; Nige and another gentleman (name?) of the activities staff, who were interesting to talk with and who ensured that we were supplied with root beer and ice cream, wine, and chocolates; and the concierge (name?) who provided great ideas for things to do in the area. Parking was plentiful, close to the entrance, and free; there were also handicapped-designated spots. The resort was relatively convenient to the tourist activities that we were interested in (downtown, Indian Canyons, Palm Springs aerial tramway) , as well as grocery stores, gas stations, and the airport. We also needed to go out to Redlands a few times, so we appreciated the resort's proximity to I-10. Noise was a minor issue because the airport is only 3.5 miles away. Some of the flights were early morning or late evening. Finally, and most importantly, we're rather irritated with WorldMark because of the extra fees that they charge. As expected, as timeshare owners exchanging through RCI, we paid the expected fee for an exchange ($299, which is usually for a 7 night stay) plus some RCI points (which use up some of our home resort trading value). However, this resort also charged an additional $108 mandatory housekeeping fee for all RCI stays of fewer than 7 nights. If a 7-night reservation had been available (it wasn't), that would've been our preference. We would've gotten two extra nights of vacation, gotten full value for our $299 reservation fee which is usually for a 7-night stay, and avoided the $108 housekeeping fee. To add insult to injury, the price for a rental (without using our RCI points) was only about $20 more. We will avoid WorldMark or Wyndham resorts, here and elsewhere, because of these pricing policies. We recommend the resort if you're not coming through an RCI exchange.

Upon arriving, we were a bit confused as there are no Worldmark signs but rather signage for The Plaza Resort and Spa so we had to ask if we were at the correct place (not sure if Worldmark recently acquired the property or just marketed online as Worldmark) I'll start off by saying that the staff is very friendly and accommodating. They were very warm, welcoming, and if you had any issue they responded to it. The bed was very comfy and the studio had all the basic necessities that you need. The room was mostly quiet; however, walls are thin so you could hear some of the other guests talking at times and also hearing them flush the toilet and their showers running. Bathtub was squeaky and felt uneven. We had a balcony with a golf course view that was lovely. As for the kitchenette, you have a two burner stove top with the basic cutlery, dishware, cookware, etc. along with a full sized fridge and microwave; however, you do not have a dishwasher, oven, garbage disposal, nor exhaust ventilation fans above the stove top as most do. One of the nights I bought some poultry to BBQ and there are four grills by the main pool and none of them worked so I reported it to the front desk clerk on duty and he notified maintenance immediately. I did pack up my food and just cooked it inside but it wasn't the same as grilling and we were disappointed. We didn't get the chance to lay out by the pool but I appreciate having a "quiet pool" for adults on the opposite end of the resort (in addition to the main pool). Grounds were well kept and very clean. I also appreciated the free laundry room and one small pkg of All laundry detergent gratis as I always do laundry prior to checking out. Another amenity that this property doesn't have are garages nor covered parking, so something to consider if you're coming during the peak summer months. Gym on site and it's your typical hotel style located on the 2nd floor. Disappointed that no free weights are available; however, there's a large weight machine with various types of exercises you can do, a treadmill and a bike. There are towels provided along with a water machine and cups but no exercise mats. Surprisingly there are male and female restrooms with showers and saunas in each, but very small. Overall, definitely not a terrible stay for a resort, but also not the greatest as this property does have some shortcomings. Location is on the PS side bordering Cat City and within an easy half mile walk to restaurants, a couple of bars, Boomers, Target, Starbucks, etc. I'm not opposed to staying here again, but it would have to be a one or two bedroom unit with a full kitchen and perhaps that would elevate my experience and expectations.

We love and have supported the Lost Property in Hollywood where we live and the talented people of Mixology work at the Lost Property Palm Springs and while this opens at 5 one can absolutely day into night drink here. There are only 28 rooms so it was delightfully under capacity for our August stay. The location is ideal right at the west end of Palm Canyon Drive. Close to the airport and close to the tramway. In season there is a high-end restaurant and bar on site. The pool area is delightful, clean, comfortable lounges, 4 cabanas the spa is powerful and hot. There are numerous tall palm trees circling the property. Scott, who checked us in, was friendly and very informative. The towels for the pool were thick and soft. We had a wonderful stay and we are already talking about another stay this fall. Again, shout out to Scott who really set the tone for the Skylark. It exceeded expectations in every respect.
