Staff is friendly and take your request with utmost importance , being vegetating I asked them to change the gloves for making my pizza and with all care my server changed and took care of my order. As far as pizza goes, this place hits the mark. Endless customization options with already tasty base variety make it easy to find and stick with you favorites. Cauliflower crust is very tasty for when you want a little less carbs in your crust. Most importantly; customizable pizza salad comes with fresh spinach and arugula and is super-tasty, just as you'd make it at home. Lastly, if you order ahead of time for a time-based pickup, your hot fresh out of the oven pizza will be waiting for you when you arrive so you'd spend 30 seconds in the store and be on your way home to enjoy your Friday pizza night with family after kids' swimming practice or whatever. 6/13/20 First time sitting down in a restaurant in Washington. I ordered the cauliflower crusted pizza with grilled chicken and vegetables, along with the best cake I've ever had called the "no name cake" OMG!! If you've never had anything so chocolatey goodness, you've got to try a piece of cake from this place. The pizza is damn good as well, and the staff is so chill and fun. If I ever were to want to work at another pizza joint, this would be the spot. Such an upbeat environment, along with friendly welcoming staff. Another great non-greasy, and fresh ingredients pizza option with a very simple menu that actually offers something for every pizza preference. I really appreciate how pronounced red sauce was, and the ideal amount of garlic used. The customer service at this location was great, and service was fast considering each item is made to order. Make sure to order a salad, I'm typically underwhelmed by salads but the mini regular salad was extremely good (they add roasted red peppers). We've been frequenters of this mod location for many years both in-person and delivery. This last time, we had a few hiccups with our pizza. We went back to the store and talked to the manager. So I've been to other MOD Pizza locations in the past, but I'm on a mission to review, and visited this location today with a friend, so let's get to it. First things first, the staff here was great. The employee making our pizzas was super personable, had a great sense of humor, and didn't make us feel rushed at all when deciding on what to order. I always appreciate good customer service, and this location definitely has that vibe going on. We decided to try something a little different and went with the kitchen's creation (which included it being topped with an egg?) and the Dominic, which immediately caught our attention due to Asiago cheese and white sauce! Overall, our pizzas were tasty and the egg was definitely an interesting addition, although I'm not sure we'd do it again, as it made for too much going on. Also, I think the egg could've used a little more seasoning, as it lacked a bit of flavor overall. The Dominic was also very delicious, I definitely enjoyed the combination of Asiago and the mild sausage. I think what didn't make it a five-star review for me is that while the pizza was good, it wasn't out of this world and I felt that the toppings could've used a bit more... flavor? Either way, we enjoyed our meal and MOD Pizza is honestly just a good staple in the Seattle area overall, and I'm always impressed by their customer service and consistency. This is a nice MOD. We often come here and have salads. Unlike the Lynwood crossing location, they are pretty good with their portions. We usually think we are getting a good amount of leaves in our salads. The cashier could be untrusting tho. One time, my husband and I both ordered a mini salad. However, after all the toppings we had. The salad maker decided to put them in a bigger bowl. The cashier questioned my husbands' words when he said we ordered minis. I guess they assume each customer is going to add more toppings to the pizza so they are light on the standard toppings for a listed pizzas? This was my first visit and I ordered the Tristan so in the end somewhat disappointing as there wasn't a lot of toppings or even cheese for that matter. Based on watching pizzas being made in front of mine, majority of toppings placed towards the middle so you get little to nothing out by the crust. I was craving a pizza and was in the area, so I stopped in this MOD location. Located at the end of a shopping center so it as easy to get in and out. It was not very busy at 730PM on a Saturday so I was able to walk right up to the counter for my order. I was immediately greeted and started my order. Nothing different from the other locations, paid and started enjoying my draft beer. Of course THANK YOU MOD for offering a Military discount (on food). My pizza was cooked just right without any blackened edges and I noted a slight difference from the norm...it was cut in 6 slices instead of the usual 4! This is my first visit to this location, but I have to say I was quite pleased! The slice size was more enjoyable and I will request this on my future visits. The staff was all very friendly and the restaurant was clean. All the shakers were organized neatly by the soda/tea dispensers and each table had napkin holders. I understand the company's image model with the music at a comfortable, but higher volume than standard chain restaurants. This location's music was at a higher volume than the other (many) locations and it was NOT a big deal other than I could not hear my name being yelled from the pick-up counter and I was directly across from it. I'm a big fan of MOD Pizza. They seem to have a perfect combination of a tasty thin crust, loads of quality toppings, and reasonable prices, plus a friendly and welcoming staff to top it off. Never been disappointed by the pizzas. However, I need to take a few stars off this particular location because they always seem to mess up something on my order. I've shown up for orders I placed online and one time they hadn't even started my order at the pickup time, another time they left off ingredients so they had to remake the order, and another time they forgot one of my three pies and so I had to wait for it to be made. I appreciate the staff apologizing and giving me the extra pizzas that were made incorrectly, and occasionally a free drink while I wait. But sometimes when you're in a rush you just want it done right the first time and be in and out. This place has been around for awhile so it shouldn't have this many hiccups. But I'm still a fan of MOD and will always choose them when I'm in the mood for pizza. I just hope my next order will be done right. read more

Tonight Oven Dude Jeff overheard that someone in our family was lactose sensitive and came to us to ask who had the cauliflower crust because while it was delicious and gluten-free (highly recommended!), it was definitely not lactose free. MOD Pizza is one of those ideas you see in action and immediately your mind goes to "Why the heck didn't I think of that?". It basically takes a Subway type of concept and brings it to the wood fired pizza realm. Food: The pizza comes in three sizes (many people don't realize), and for most the original "MOD" size (middle size) is generally perfect. Just like a sandwich shop you can mix and match any toppings, and the pricing doesn't change. We're not talking nickel and diming you for guacamole (looking at you Chipotle) or ketsup (or you Burgermaster), it's one price regardless of sauce, herbs, and toppings. The toppings are fresh and the wood fire adds a nice char to the thin crust. Assuming no huge line, you can expect the pizza to be out within about 10 minutes of placing the order. Order and pay online, and you can skip the line and head straight to pick-up. For those more health conscious you can opt for a salad with pretty much all the same options as above (save sauce and dough). I love the ability to create a large monster salad, but the pricing is a bit steep given you're removing the dough/sauce/cook time. This MOD, and in fact most I've seen, serves some draft beers as well as bottled beer, cider and soft drinks. There's also some unique lemonade/teas/juices available. Insider Tip: While the fountain lemonade/juices are great, but you might need to cut them with water (pretty sweet). Location & Service: Located in the Canyon Park shopping center (anchor store is QFC) it's in a good location for those frequenting 228th, and judging by all the new construction in the area, that's a heck of a lot of you folks! Within walking distance you'll find a Mud Bay, a Bartells, a Taco Del Mar, a Chase Bank, a couple of gas stations, QFC, a PCC Market, a Brooks Outlet, a Tullys, and a Starbucks. Basically it's in an area where you can get a lot of shopping done making it convenient for those in the Canyon Park/Maywood Hills area. Inside the layout is well thought out. The order line snakes around the outside (not window facing) part of the building, and the tables don't feel cramped. There's a community wood bartop, which I happen to like a lot. Noise carries a bit with no sound barriers, but you do get plenty of lighting with about 50% of the wall space being windows. Parking is not a challenge. Final Thoughts: For $7.87 the price is right for a customized personal pizza. It won't change your world, but it might just change your lunch plans. -AC read more
