Why is the Cherry Coke colorless ?

It seems like lots of things changed since 2016 in SF. The Superbowl was being played at Levi's Stadium in 2016 and the concerts were free at the Embarcadero in San Francisco with free concerts at Super Bowl City with Alicia Keys and One Republic . In 2026 the last tenants at the food court ( Panda Express)at the Westfield Mall in downtown San Francisco are leaving the building. The only remaining food court at a mall in SF is Stonestown. Ten years ago the Stonestown Galleria Mall in 2016 had no movie theater inside , no escape room, no bowling alley ,and no Target . I believe what restarted what is Stonestown Mall today is when Blaze Pizza opened over 10 years ago. Customization is why people like coming here. I am able customize my pizza individually to the way I can customize my burrito at a Mission District Taqueria or at a Poke place with different types of seafood and sauces. Yes, Blaze is a fast casual pizza chain but it's way better tasting than Pizza Butt( I mean Pizza Hut). They had lots of toppings to put on a pizza and different sauces at your request. I had order one of my favorite pizzas combinations which is mushroom and extra cheese. It was kind of cheesy like some in SF and the crust had a chard . It was a bit saucy and the mushroom gave it some flavor. Overall a good pizza for a chainstore. The pizza was cheesy in 2016 and a bit more cheesier in 2026. I first came here in 2016 back in the "days "at place where you can have a pizza made a hundred different"ways" it's located by the main entrance of Stonestown Galleria and it's called "Blaze" Stonestown changed in 10 years is a different mall in 2026 it now has an escape room experience on another level inside on the "mezzanine" and a movie theater where movies can be "seen" it's changed since the year "2016"

Last Sunday we had a very large group of 9 year old girls coming from a birthday party gathering inside the mall and we ended up at Blaze Pizza for lunch. Christine and her crew did a fantastic job getting out 14 large pizzas! They did a great job communicating and the most important aspect was the pizza was delicious! Recommend and will be back!

I chose to build my own pizza and added a healthy amount of cheese, which I really enjoyed. I do wish they had added a little more sauce, though, as I personally prefer my pizza with a bit more of it. Unfortunately, the bottom of the crust was burnt, which affected the overall texture of the pizza.

blaze pizza is delicious! it's super value if you snag one of their deals -- we got the buy one get one $3.14 for pi day. the staff were busy but still remained friendly and calm! the crust is thin and yummy, you get unlimited toppings, and I'd highly recommend that basalmic glaze!

Best pizza ever The only problem was that they stopped and the student discounts but other then that it the best everything there is the best including the cheesy bread, the salad, and everything else I'm updating my mom's review The service was great too!!!

TGIF!!! Super busy on Friday around 6.30pm. Online orders were being processed too, so the wait was about 30 mins, from lining up to getting the food. We were originally going to order 2 pizzas until we saw the Blazin Deal 5 for $45. A deal we could not resist. Staff were efficient with our customized pizzas. The 2 sides and 3 pizzas was more than enough to feed 4. The pizzas were simply delicious with all the toppings we love and fresh out of the fire oven.

Hey, I came over here and got me a special pizza for me and my coworkers. I got a classic dough spicy red sauce with fresh mozzarella and Parmesan double cheese and check out what I got. This is ridiculous eating straight dough pizza

I'm not the biggest pizza fan, I don't crave it too often which is fine because pizza these days is so expensive! Pizza used to be an affordable meal that fed the whole family, but the price of cheese is way higher these days. Plus, as a vegan, most pizza places don't have vegan cheese yet so I have to order sans cheese but still pay the same price for it. Luckily, Blaze Pizza solves both problems. It's an affordable pizza spot that has vegan cheese...they don't even charge more for it! NICE. I remember when it used to be $11 for the unlimited toppings pizza, it's around $15 now, but it's still a good deal since you get to choose as many toppings as you want. Really - they let you load her up! In addition to vegan cheese, they also offer vegan spicy soyrizo as a great plant-based protein option. The regular crust & marinara is vegan so this is absolutely a vegan-friendly joint. You can even order the cheesy bread with vegan cheese! If you sign up for their rewards club you can earn points towards free food. The line here can get long, you can always order ahead on the app instead.

One of Stonestown's quick meal spots, my pizza-lovin' daughter likes to stop here for a quick pepperoni pizza lunch. Get in line, order your crust, cheese, toppings and sauce, then wait for your name to be called after you pay. Spacious indoor and outdoor seatings available.

I dont gear towards pizza when I'm hungry..... but this place might change my mind! I did a custom pizza with gluten free dough. The dough was not bad and I'm trying to watch my gluten this year. These are the toppings I remember I got: tomatoes, italian sausage, pepperoni, arugala, whole garlic cloves, bell peppers, etc. I'm not sure if there were mushrooms available but if there were - I WOULD GET THEM!!! I also got it with classic red sauce and some pesto. So yummy. As for the drizzle on top of the pizza, I only got balsamic vinegar and spinkled peppers and parmasean cheese on top of course. I don't like how the receipt is right under the pizza when cooked in the oven. If I read that person's review before coming here, I would have completely avoided Blaze Pizza. However it was too late and I was hungry!! Corporate def need to change this issue. Besides this, I like how there are already to-go boxes on the back racks. No bags - need to ask an employee.

We arrived around 12:30 pm, and there was already a line with only a few tables left. Since it was our first time here, we had some questions about the menu, which didn't provide much detail. We asked the cashier how many slices came in a large and regular pizza, but she didn't know and had to check with her manager. Then we asked about the "take two" option on the menu, and again, she didn't know and had to ask her manager. When we told her we wanted a half-and-half pizza with signature toppings, she misunderstood and thought we wanted two separate pizzas. There was a lot of back-and-forth because she couldn't grasp what we were trying to say. Eventually, we were passed to the person prepping our pizza. She didn't ask what we wanted and just started making a basic pizza with tomato sauce and mozzarella. We had to correct her, explaining that we ordered half spicy pepperoni and half blazed BBQ. She had to start over, but she got it right in the end. After ordering, we waited about 8 minutes for our food. We got a regular pizza (half spicy pepperoni, half blazed BBQ) and the pesto garlic bread. The food was good overall, but the pesto garlic bread could've used more garlic. I'm giving this place 3 stars because of the lack of knowledge from the first worker and the confusing menu, which doesn't include prices (see photo). You only find out how much the pizzas cost at checkout. While the food was decent, the overall experience left room for improvement.

i love the aesthetic at this Blaze Pizza. the inside and outdoor view are amazing, neat and spacious. you will find plenty parking inside this plaza, and even less busy later at night. i ordered takeout pizza, with the boys wanting a healthier option, with garlic and basil added on da pizza. service is good, with a nice staff who were attentive to my takeout! veggie pizza (7.4/10) although a non-protein pizza isnt my go-to, this large pizza topped with basil and garlic was okay. my friends enjoyed it much more

We picked up our items around a 30 minute wait later. Fried Fish Tacos - For two tacos, the size and the amount of fillings were very good. It came with fried fish, avocado, salsa, veggies and a spicy aioli sauce. It is cool that they use the fish they have for the day and the tacos were very refreshing with the lightly battered fish and fresh vegetables. A lot of people have mentioned this place as a must go for fresh fish and chips related dishes and I understand the hype about it after trying it. I would definitely go back again and try to avoid the lines by going earlier or ordering pickup.

The soups were alright, but the schmelty was definitely the star of the show and was super cheesy and crispy. I ate it with hot sauce and it was great. F O O D: I stopped by on a Sunday afternoon after a gig,…read moredrawn in by the nostalgia of growing up just a block away from this spot. I ordered the Magnifica sandwich, and it was very tasty. The variety of meats was excellent, and the olive relish added a perfect zing. I specifically asked for green chilies to be included, and they happily accommodated that request, adding a nice kick and veggies for me to enjoy. One of the most unique aspects of the meal was the massive selection of hot sauces available to try. There were tons and tons of different bottles lining the counter, which really helped "fancy up" the meal. I used them to spice up both the sandwich and the soup. Speaking of the soup, I had the tomato soup. I had expected a thick bisque like thingy, so the texture was a bit too light for my preference, though the flavor was definitely there. Definitely an elevated (in a positive way) campbell's tomato soup; don't forget the crème (if you're able to!) The hot sauces definitely added the richness I was looking for. A highlight was the Elote soup (their seasonal special). I'm not usually a corn fan, but I saw someone else getting a sample and took the risk and asked for it too. The manager was incredibly generous (and I recognized him from the website.) The sample wasn't just a spoonful; it was practically half a cup with garnishes included! Kudos to him for that generosity. It was pretty good, even for a non-corn lover. A M B I A N C E: The atmosphere here is fantastic: if it's sunny in the sunset, sit outside. It has a distinct retro feel, and the art is a major standout. I was particularly fascinated by the countertops embedded with pennies and coins. It feels like a tribute to "long live the penny," especially now that we aren't using them much anymore. It's a unique, nostalgic touch that makes the place feel special, especially for someone who grew up right around the corner. S E R V I C E: The service was a bit of a mixed bag. Upon entering, I wasn't immediately sure of the flow until I was quickly directed to order at the register before sitting down. While I tried to chat with some of the staff, I felt like I might have been bothering them or coming off as annoying (maybe I just have "resting bitch face"?). However, the manager made up for it by being generous with the Elote soup sample. While the manager stepped up, the general interaction with the others felt a little off, suggesting there's room for improvement in friendliness and engagement. In the end, twas worth a visit for the nostalgia and the Magnifica sandwich, but maybe keep the small talk brief!

An hour to get two pizzas at 3 PM should have been the warning sign…read more When the pizzas finally arrived, they managed the remarkable feat of being burnt and undercooked at the same time. The crust was charred on the outside, while the dough underneath was still raw. The vegetables had released so much water that the center collapsed into a soggy puddle. It looked less like pizza and more like a kitchen mistake that should never have left the oven. What happened next was even worse. Instead of an apology, the waiter launched into a series of excuses. I was told that this was a "new style." Burnt pizza is not a style. I was told, "we make it in an oven." That much was painfully obvious. Then I was told to "talk to the owner." No customer should have to hunt down the owner to explain why serving raw dough after a one-hour wait is unacceptable. Mistakes happen. Any restaurant can have an off day. What separates a good restaurant from a bad one is how it responds when something goes wrong. Here, there was no accountability, no concern, and no attempt to make things right. The waiter seemed more interested in defending the indefensible than addressing the problem. After waiting an hour for two pizzas, being served food that was simultaneously burnt, soggy, and undercooked, and then being met with excuses instead of service, it's hard to imagine a more disappointing dining experience. Should be renamed to damm-burnt-pizza.
