I used to go to Mod about once a month, but now I always forget that Mod exists. However, every time I end up there, I always tell myself that I'm going to go more often. My husband isn't really a fan because he likes pepperoni pizza and he says he can buy a bigger pepperoni pizza for less money from the grocery store. I, however, love my pizza to have a lot of toppings. That's where Mod shines. It's like the Subway or Chipotle of pizzas. You pay for whichever size pizza you want and then load it up with your toppings. They cook it, you eat it. Plain and simple. They also have salads that you can top with whatever you want. Listen, if you don't already know what Mod is, where have you been? Anyways, the staff was friendly and helpful. The place was clean. I didn't visit the bathroom so I can't speak on that, but the rest of the place was seemingly in order. I think this is only the second time I've been to this location, but both times were pleasant and enjoyable. I need to go to Mod more often. read more

We came here today to celebrate a family birthday...and the staff was so amazingly friendly and efficient!! We had a large number of pizzas and salads...everything was prepared perfectly and tasted fresh. Huge shout out to Haven who checked us out. I had a pick up order for Uber that should have been ready, but I had to wait 10 mins for them to tell me that someone had picked it up a hour ago which is a lie if Uber just PLACED THE ORDER! I have a wheat allergy and the first women I asked told me there is nothing they can do to help keep my gluten free crust from cross contamination in the oven, then our holy savior Daniel came out and told me although not promised to be 100% gluten free he could put it on a clean separate screen, use separate gloves and everything. We were about to go to a different restaurant before he came out so huge thank you to Daniel, plus he can make one heck of a pie. 10/10 read more

I love, love , love this place but the only reason why I do not give it more than 3 stars is because of one employee there!!! And when I say this I mean it in the most nicest way I am one to give chances and give the person the benefit of the doubt but she is no longer new because I come frequently but the young lady does not know the difference between spicy chicken sausage, and Italian sausage, last time I had to tell her to ask for help so that they can explain to her what Italian and chicken sausage was she stud there and stared before asking and then with and attitude after they explained it to her she said it's the same thing!!! No it is not the same ok so usually in in a rush due to my lunch hour she takes her sweet time she does one pizza while the other employees have already done and I counted 4 pizzas this time I went with time I'm off so I even let the guy behind me go first so that I don't deal with her but unfortunately the other girl had to help with Togo orders so I had to give this girl a chance again!! I ask for the same thing and again she did my pizza with chicken sausages the other girl ask me if she can re- do it for me but I see a line almost coming out the restaurant and the other girl has already done like 6 pizzas and still needs to help this girl with the 10 customer she has In line that we're not there when I got there. Not just that she only help 2 people and the other girl did 8 pizzas in total I just could not see my self paying for something I did not want I just kindly told the girl no don't redo the pizza I'll just go somewhere else. Going downhill. Food quality is dropping. Orders rarely ready on time. Staff has some bad apples that are rude and lazy. Go after 8pm and the place is a mess. The front door has been broken for months and the workers yell at anyone to close it instead of doing themselves. Pizza Hut is just down the street so I'll be going there from now on. read more

MOD pizza is my favorite place to study! The owner is absolutely fabulous, the staff is always energetic, and the pizzas are always perfect! Any amount of FRESH ingredients/toppings are the same price, and same thing with the salads. I can get in and out in under 20 minutes fully satisfied (with a drink) for under $10! (Although I usually camp out on the patio for long periods of time while using the free WiFi and getting unlimited refills of the seasonal teas/lemonades offered!) AND THEY HAVE THE GOOD ICE TO MUNCH ON!!! There is also a selection of local/ imported longnecks, and draft beers are $2 all day on Tuesdays! Perfect any day at any time, but especially enjoyable, is watching the local high school students come in before football games in their spirited attire. Love this place. Our first time to this location. The service was ok but they lady cooking the pizza couldn't seem to get it together. We were there for about 30 minutes total and in that short time frame I watched her throw out and have them remake 7 pizzas. Including mine. She kept complaining that the toppings were falling off (?) not sure why that was an issue today and no other MOD has ever had that problem. They don't tell you that they had to remake your pizza so you end up waiting longer then you expect. And then they remake it from memory or by looking at the one to be thrown out. Overall it was a MEH trip. We wont be going back to this location for sure. read more

Tonight our youth group went to MOD after service to hangout. ~50 + people showed up at once. This store rocked every bodies pizza out quickly and with great quality. Nothing suffered because of the rush. They were very friendly, made excellent pies and even as the soda machine stopped they got it going again and didn't miss a beat with the pizzas. The manager has a staff that cares about doing a good job. If you haven't been here give them a try. read more

Received the worst service here the other day. MOD AT PASADENA is way better. Employees were rude, slow, and they seem like they don't want to be there. Every time I've been here it's been awesome! They're fast, friendly, the pizzas always turn out great, and you can't beat the price!

This place needs better management and some sort of health guidelines. I showed up at 8:50 when they close at 10:00 but they had almost everything put away. They use their bare hands to prep the dough without even washing them. Six other people showed up behind me but only one person was making pizza. It's 9:17 now and I still haven't eaten. They already halfway put away the lemonade and tea but they were kind enough to show some children how to dip a plastic cup into the buckets of lemonade to get some out. That was fun to watch. After a thirty minute wait the top crust on my Mega was raw. The managers response was "no one ever complained before". read more

Have to agree with other Yelper's that this is the WORST Mod Pizza I have been too. Walked in only a month after opening and it was filthy behind the counter. Pizza toppings all over the floor in front of the prep area. I understand you get a rush and get busy but this was like at 4 in the afternoon, not busy and like 5 employees behind the counter...I was almost tempted to walk out but went ahead and got a pizza to go anyway. I normally love MOD but after last night and a trip to the ER I am never eating it again. I ended up with food poising from either the spinach, pesto or artichoke on my pizza. My family had separate pizzas and those were the only ingredients that were unique to mine. When my husband called to let them know about the issue to try and get the items removed before others were effected they acted like it wasn't a big deal and offered free pizza coupons. I love this place I really do. But I feel like the manager is little harsh on the employees. This incident an employee made a pizza incorrectly and they had to remake and the customer didn't make a big fuss and even said it wasn't a big deal but the manager basically lost her mind and was raising her voice at the employees because none of the employees knew what happened.
