I am so glad we finally got a MOD Pizza up here, it's hard to find vegan pizza in Humboldt and when you do it is very expensive and out of my price range. Here you can get any toppings you want for no additional charge and they don't even charge extra for the vegan cheese which is practically unheard of. I really like this place because they have really good vegan cheese (Daiya) as an option--most pizza places do not have vegan cheese as an option. I also appreciate the same cost for any amount of toppings. The crust tastes good to me. I have been here twice, and so far, so good. read more

It was extremely busy around 7pm when we picked up or online order. The restaurant forgot our drink, and gave us the wrong cakes. I called to let them know of the honest mistakes. The associate I spoke with "Felipe" was so very kind and understanding. He told me they were understaffed and apologized profusely! I let him know it was an honest mistake and I appreciate him acknowledging the mistake. We are usually 100% satisfied with our orders here and I so appreciate Felipe going above and beyond. SAVE YOUR MONEY. I always like to try a new pizza place when one pops up. Can't speak to the service as I got my food door dashed but WOW. Crust was dry and flavourless, barely any sauce, topping combo on the Jasper sounded good but pizza was so bland. The cheesy bread was SO dry and the sriracha ranch sauce was watery and gross. Yummy customizable pizza! I can have my gluten-friendly crust with all the toppings I love, my vegetarian sister can customize her veggie pizza, and my partner can choose a regular crust with all his meat toppings. Everyone is happy and the pizzas are delicious. Waaaay better than any frozen pizza (as a previous rater suggested was better.) I prefer it over other chains in the area, for sure. They're still working on their costumer service and experience; but I'm sure that will improve as the employees get more practice. read more

The staff was great. Although there were a few people ahead of me ordering pizza, the line went quickly. When my pizza was ready the associate told me that she had put another pizza in the oven for me as mine had a minor imperfection in the crust. She offered to give me both pizzas. The 'defect was minor and had she not mentioned it I would not have noticed. I declined the extra pizza. I ate the pizza on the outdoor patio. The flavor was great. I ordered the pizza extra crispy and it was cooked just as I wanted. That being said, the quality and value were good. The staff were very professional and seemed to go above and beyond. I went in for my hour lunch break, where MOD is a frequent choice for me. Ever since my introduction to MOD in Grants Pass Oregon, I've been praying for one to open up near me. Anyway, I decided to order the mega crust, which I had never done. I usually stick to the regular crust, but felt like trying it out. I didn't pay too close attention to what the girl grabbed as far as crust goes, but let her know all the toppings I wanted. I got my pizza and sat down with a friend of mine. He noticed my pizza looked about as thick as his regular crust pizza and told me I should check with the staff to make sure I got the mega crust I ordered. I looked at the paper my pizza was on and verified she checked off the mega crust... I got up and went to the front and spoke with a girl who worked there, she was super friendly, and checked the pizza. She verified it was a regular crust and also noticed the mega crust was marked on the paper. She apologized and asked me if I wanted it remade. I told her I would be fine with the pizza I got, I just wanted to verify it wasn't the mega crust, because if it was, I wouldn't be ordering again as it wasn't really any thicker. I told her I also didn't want to waste a perfectly good pizza just because the crust wasn't what I ordered. The girl told me to eat the pizza I got and she would make a thick crust for me to go. She wrote down the same order I had initially and I had a delicious thick crust pizza boxed up for me by the time I had to leave. This kind of customer service isn't normal around here in my experience, but apparently, at MOD pizza, they are all about taking care of the customer, which is a nice feeling. At no time did they make me feel like I was an irritation to them, as it was a busy lunch hour. The girl who helped me was very helpful and nice. I love mod pizza, and I eat it at least 3 times a week. The thing is is that is affordable. I am a vegan and this is the first fast food place, let alone pizza establishment, that offers vegan cheese! They offer a good range of crust and so many toppings for such an affordable price. The service is great, with the understanding that the restaurant along with the staff have only been running with 4-5 weeks of experience in a new environment. Every customer I've seen has been treated with respect, even when their pizza is messed up, ordered wrong, burnt or otherwise, MOD always makes it right. OMFG!! Was so expecting something different. Pizza is THE WORST. With that said, my entire experience was even worse. I am not able to wear a mask, although I do try for all the sheeple out there. I was standing by myself, at least 6 feet between me and any one else. I got yelled at by an employee to put my mask on. I complied as best I could until manager lady walked out with her nose out of mask, walked outside, and then back in WITHOUT a mask! I was hyperventilating at that point and said fuck it and took my mask off. The long haired 12 year old pizza cutter told me to put my mask on. I told him I have medical condition, and I tried to wear it. Then manager walked out of back room again with no mask on. I pointed to her and said she is not wearing one. She looked at me and said I have it in my hand, showed me her mask. I said mine is right here, around my neck and pointed to it. The 12 year old long haired twit told me I can't come back unless I have a mask on. Told him no worries, I won't be back mask or no. I am 50 + years old. NEVER again. Each of these new restaurants that have come in the past month SUCK. Makes me worry about In and out. Don't waste you time at this place. read more
