Pizza is good but delivery drivers don't follow delivery instructions. I have serious health issues & getting sick could have disastrous results. Every single time I check the contactless delivery box & the last couple times have specifically said it needs to be contactless in the instructions. This time I specifically put in all capital letters with 6 asterisks that I needed contactless delivery due to illness & to put the pizza on the ground by the door. My apt is impossible to find unless you know it's there so I always put directions on how to find it. That is the only way to find my apt so I know the delivery guy saw what I wrote. And still knocked on the door until I yelled at him that I was sick & that had put contactless delivery. Admittedly, I lost my cool & shouldn't have yelled BUT there was no way he could've miss the contactless directions since he found my apt. And this is a long established pattern with this restaurant. I rarely have issues with other delivery services & restaurants so this is very much an issue with them specifically. I will not be ordering from them again because it's just getting too frustrating for me to have them not follow very clear directions, especially with how expensive their food is! Well this use to be my fave place, called about ordering and applying my rewards for a discount, the girl that answer said she didn't know how and the other person was to busy to help. I get it I also do customer service work, but there's a certain way to treat customers. So the cook Gee called me back! I will start with the service. The cashier/cook was very friendly and offered to make a pizza per our request for the lunch buffet. We asked for a combo without the fresh tomatoes. It was $14 and some change per person. This includes drink and salad bar. The pizza: it was alright, wasn't great or the worst I ever had. Though the combo pizza they made per our request wasn't cooked all the way and was raw dough taste, just awful. The salad bar had a nice variety except there weren't any tomatoes? Was nice to see they had bacon bits and croutons though. The salad stuff all seemed to be fresh and was tasty. I wouldn't come back again because the pizza doesn't seem to be made consistently. This is the the Redding CA location. Pizza was really good! We went with the sausage and extra cheese and then a pepperoni with extra cheese. Staff was very attentive and did a great job getting things ready. Did an online order and everything came out as expected. Things took a little longer than I thought, but again, the staff was super nice and kept apologizing for the wait. Last night, we tried Mountain Mikes, for the first time. Sure, they cost more than Dominos or Papa Murphy's, but I found a coupon code that saved me $5.60. We bought a large Everest, and a mini pepperoni for our daughter. The Everest was delicious, and a nice change from our usual. The sauce was tangy and the toppings we're fresh. The crust was perfect. Our daughter loved her pepperoni, and said it tasted like bacon. The other thing that impressed me, was that we had our order delivered, and it was still hot when it arrived! It's strange how many people mix up leaving reviews with other Mountain Mikes in surrounding cities! I am from the Sacramento area and needed a mountain size pizza for a work training in the area. I was easily able to order through the app, and have the pizza and sides ready by the promised time. Ranches were larger than what is typically given at most Mountain Mikes. Pizza looked amazing and heavy on the toppings! The store was extremely clean, and the arcade section was way bigger than most pizza places. Staff was friendly. I didn't plan on writing a review but feel most will leave negative interactions and forget about the good ones. This is a good pizza spot! read more

I also inspected every single napkin they gave me before using them to ensure my delicate hands and feet would be cleansed of all unnatural impurities as I devoured their pizza. Great delight and even greater napkins. Make sure to ask for extra napkins for your feet if you are a true pizza connoisseur. My feet will relish the texture and consistency of their red sauce. The best pizza place in Fortuna.....if you can order! They updated their app and it is a total failure! Yesterday I gave up on the app and tried to phone in my order directly..... They guy I talked to on the phone was very nice and very apologetic about the app problems. When I got around to trying to order he told me that I was outside of their area! I called the number listed for Fortuna but was connected to their store in Antioch. I gave up and got my dinner from Taco Loco, always a good choice in Fortuna. I ordered a chicken pineapple pizza (med) for 34 dollars was delivered in a timely fashion, I ate 1 piece and thought it tasted funny, my wife tried a piece and remarked it tasted strange. The chicken on it went bad. I called the store and told the lady who answered the phone about it. She offered a full refund. I told her I wasn't asking for a refund, I just wanted them to be aware that the chicken was bad. And I will not be ordering again. Ok so I order from here about once a week or so, unless I'm not in town. My order for pizza is always the same. Large pepperoni. I typically get a few other items. This time it was chicken wings with the pizza as well as the desert pizza. Basic pizza, no added instructions, REGULAR crust as I don't dictate thick crust. Pick up my order, it's sealed with tape, my fault for not breaking the seal and checking it but who wants to open their pizza in front of other people, including employees, and risk getting some type of sickness on their food? NOT ME. So I take it home as usual. Well, it's VERY thick crust. I barely ate two pizzas. My total order was $40 dollars. I even left a tip in person. I called to inform them of this extra thick crust. The manager goes to explain to me everything was made normally. CLEARLY NOT OR I WOULDNT BE CALLING! I wasn't going to leave a review at all but we'll get to why it's ended up here in just a minute my fellow followers. It's almost comical. She wants to give me a full refund. I explain that I'm not complaining to get a full refund that I just want my order right in the future and I'll accept a partial refund since I ate all the wings. THE DESSERT PIZZA HAD THICK CRUST TOO! I'm not imagining this. I even offered to bring a slice or two back to show her. she declined. So, what does the manager do?? Okay, you convinced me folks, I'll spill the beans... SHE JUST REFUNDS $6.99 FOR THE WINGS!!!! LOLOLOL I originally was so nice and she had said "I hope you still come back to us." I said "of course, this isn't a deal breaker for me." BUT NOW IT IS SINCE SHE DECIDED TO BE SLY AND JUST REFUND THE WINGS AFTER I TOLD HER I ATE ALL THE WINGS. Who does that? Is $6.99 a partial refund of $40? Well, I guess so but I clearly stated to not refund the wings because I ATE THEM! S*+%, it's not rocket science, it's a refund button and an amount, (more than $6.99 and less than $40). SO, no ma'am, I WON'T be returning again. I'll be trying out that new place in town. If you do choose to go here, break that stupid seal that place on your pizza box to conceal what's truly inside. Maybe you'll just get some nicely rolled dough, or maybe you'll get what you ACTUALLY ordered. Who knows what's inside that box until you crack it open. Take it home without breaking that seal at your own risk folks! Buyer beware. But you'll be told it was made correctly. But how would you know if someone else placed the seal on the box? I guarantee the manager isn't standing around checking every pizza putting those seals on. And if they are, they don't know the difference between thick crust and regular! Later Mountain Mike's. Very good. We had a classic pepperoni pizza and chicken wings. The staff was very nice but I think some supervision was probably needed. They brought our pizza out. We waited for the chicken wings but finally went and asked about them. I think they were ready but they were horsing around and forgot about them. We also had to ask for plates. They gave us stack of about 15. Gave the people next to us a lot too and they just threw them away when they cleared the table.(I know they have to) Seems awfully wastefull.
